It’s worth getting tested.
The Clinician that tested my hearing was very knowledgeable and gave me good information. My hearing hasn’t deteriorated enough to warrant a claim, but she did notice something that may need further investigation from my doctor.

Was wary at first about giving Tax File…
Was wary at first about giving Tax File Number and ID, but realised this was not a scam, attending a Freedom Hearing centre in Wollongong. The post audio test interview was a very professional ZOOM meeting with a IDA lawyer, and happy top provide ID at that point

Very helpful & professional staff
All the staff that I encountered were very helpful, professional and made me feel comfortable. The whole process was quite quick to go through, a lot quicker than I expected.

The appointment was quick got in within a couple of weeks. The audiologist was friendly and informative and the video conference was very professional and the gentleman explained everything very well easy to understand and also very informative , an enjoyable hour

I have had hearing problems for a long time I have trouble hearing in small groups of people and can't hear any conversations in large groups I struggle to hear my grand children when they talk .
The people at industrial Deafness explained everything in plain English and in a relaxed tone I found the consultants very helpful

Very happy with my experience with IDA. They were efficient in following up and the audiologist was extremely thorough in her examination compared to what I have been used to previously.
