1. On the Online order it said ''optional'' for telephone number. So I didn't fill it in. Indoor Furniture e-mailed me stating they need my phone number for the delivery even though I had provided enough information. I gave my telephone number.
2. The package was late, I e-mailed the person (phone no.) stating where is the package, I need to know if it's sign for delivery, I will be here for delivery.
3. I had a sign on the letterbox & a sign on the window, as usual when expecting deliveries.
4. No knock, No telephone call. No sign for the delivery was outside the backdoor.
5. I opened the package a. 2 curtains b. I inspected the package itself, it stated No 2 package of 2. Sign for delivery.
6. The courier had stated ''package delivered''. It had Not in total.
7. I e-mailed the person from Indoor Furniture again stating that I had 1 set (2 curtains) missing, the courier only delivered x 1 where is the other because the courier states the package is delivered.
8. A lot of to-ing & fro-ing e-mails. The person asked me to send a picture of the package.
9. Sent close up photo's of No. 2 package of 2, the plastic bag & box. I was tired of the e-mails at this stage, Indoor Furniture apologised for the confusion. I e-mailed back there is No confusion on my end where are my paid for curtains, I sent him a copy of the receipt, I will make a complaint to Fair Trading & Consumer Affairs.
10. A few days later. I saw a courier walking up the driveway I was on my way to the back door to greet & sign. The courier threw the parcel on the prepared crate & walked away. No signature. No telephone call. No e-mail.
11. I inspected the package 1 of 2 it stated on the package & signature required on delivery.
12. The other 2 curtains were delivered. More e-mails from Indoor Furniture.
13.Wednesday 14th October I received another e-mail thanking me for my purchase & delivery expected soon. I was really worried. I contacted my bank. I stated I had Not ordered any more curtains, informed of the Value to look in my account. My account was in order, my bank stated this would be fraud we suggest you change bank card.
14. I e-mailed Indoor Furniture again stated I had received another delivery EXPECTED & receipt, contacted my bank, this would of been fraud had you removed anymore money without my consent.
I sent a copy of the receipt & expected delivery to Indoor Furniture. Quote Indoor Furniture ''Sometimes a duplicate or pending transaction can appear temporarily, and the amount may be released back into your account within 4–5 business days, depending on your bank.''
15. I would Not order from Indoor Furniture again, even though the curtains are good.
I felt Indoor Furniture had tried to confuse the order by word games, however, I had the initial receipt of the 2 lots of 2 curtains = 4 in total & the couriers stating the package has been delivered.
