Great Company to Work With
I had a 17 year old annuity that I hadn't annuitized yet. The interest rate they wanted to give me was about 5%, so I did my homework and found out I could get a MUCH better rate elsewhere. I contacted John at ImmediateAnnuities and he walked me through the process of selecting a new annuity. Of course I wanted a good fixed interest rate, but I also wanted a company that's been around for a while to make sure that they'd be around for my "later" years. John found me a very well established company that's been around longer than me with a sterling reputation, and with a good interest rate (>7,.3%). ImmediateAnnuities did an outstanding job with all the necessary paperwork and answered all my questions along the way. If I ever need/want another annuity, I know where I'm going -- this company.

Prior to retirement, I’d periodically check this site. Provided good guidance on rates without the necessity of agent involvement. Obviously, a huge personal decision to go forward with an annuity in general as part of our retirement plan. Good information on the site itself and two informative calls with your agents to start/finish the process went smoothly. Highly recommend this firm.

This comany was very responsive in helping me to find a perfect fit for an annuity that would provide supplemental income in retirement. The company I switched to paid out at a much higher percentage than the company I was with originally. They helped me to make this transfer every step of the way. Communication is excellent.

We have been quite pleased with the manner in which your office handled this. This was the 2nd SPIA we purchased through you. We were impressed by the number of media companies supporting you and the favorable online customer reviews.
What motivated us to obtain a second annuity was a combination of factors including ongoing dissatisfaction with bond etfs and bond funds (I.e. unpredictable income and a loss of principal as interested rates fluctuated/surged), an unwillingness to manage a bond ladder, the desire for greater simplicity/certainty in our investments and more guaranteed lifetime income as we age. We have replaced a significant portion (but not all) of our bond holdings while reallocating more aggressively to equities. However, we still maintain sufficient cash and bond holdings to carry us through potential market downturns.
The annuities add simplicity to our lives and provide us with the ability to fund our basic living expenses and some discretionary (e.g. travel) costs.
Having worked with your office two times in the past, we have found your staff to be very knowledgeable, efficient and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend you. Keep up the good work!!

Exceptional service sets them apart
There a lot of trustworthy places to buy annuities from and I’ve used two very different ones. I purchased my first annuity through my Large Financial Custodian with no dissatisfaction. Now, eight years later, I have purchased my second annuity from Guardian Life through the agency of ImmediateAnnuities.
I learned about immediateannuities.com in Jane Bryant Quinn’s book on managing money during retirement. They, like others, give you access to an annuity calculator to help you make your decision. Immediate Annuities does one unique thing. Along, with the result, they give you a list of annuity providers with their ratings and returns. Comparison shopping before you ever speak to an agent. Nice!
ImmediateAnnuites is a small company with about ten agents. They take care of the details for you and do it correctly. I received multiple updates from them as they expedited the processing for me. They stamped, addressed, and paid for over-nighting. When I received my contact from Guardian I had a question about one of line items. I emailed ImmediateAnnuities for clarification and received a prompt response and a phone call. Quite a contrast from my Large Financial Custodian. Remarkable service!

Helpful, knowledgeable (never condescending) advisors are instantly available by telephone. The informative contract materials require study, but the end objective justifies the necessary time .
