IDX doesn't provide me any protection or meaningful useful services. They just want to get good review for some reason.
I ALSO submitted a help request and got zero response after more than a month.
I ALSO received a web link to post a review on their website, but I was not able to post this review on their website for unknown reason : "An error occurred"

IDX don't provided me any protection or meaningful high level useful services to me. They just want to get good review for some reason.
PS.
BTW, I received a web link to post a review on their website, but I was not able to post this review on their website for unknown reason : "An error occurred while submitting this form."
Not a trusted company.
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.
I Emailed them twice, but never received a response back from them at all. After you send the email, you get a useless, generated 'case numbers' as a reply, stating that they will be in touch with you within 'one business day'! THAT NEVER HAPPENS! I can't get a hold of them on the phone because the wait time is hours... I don't think I trust this outfit at all, their customer service is non-existent.
Negative 10 stars, Sales Rep
Negative 10 stars. Just got off the phone, actually hung up on by a rep named "Chuck". I waited on hold for 43 minutes. When Chuck finally answered I told him that I received a letter from Change Healthcare about a data breach. Chuck said yeah. Extremely rude I asked if he was familiar with this breach and he again said Yeah. I continued and tried to explain that I had looked on their website and it stated that some notification letters have an enrolment code, which I did not have. I also told him that I was informed not to sign in using their website. I continued to talk when Chuck over-talked me by shouting Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! What customer service rep speaks like this to a prospective customer? I expressed my displeasure with being talked to like this. He continued to talk over me. I said that I had been on hold for 43 minutes, and he interrupted me again by saying wow it's come down. Now he's berating me. I asked my wife to record our conversation and Chuck said it was being recorded and I informed him that I was also recording. I asked how can he talk to anyone like this and he started laughing. I asked to have a manager call me back and not just another rep and Chuck continued to laugh. He asked what the issue was and I said it was his behavior. He asked if it was anything with the website and I said have the manager listen to our conversation and they will understand. Chuck then said great make it difficult for everyone. How is this making it difficult? I questioned Chuck on this and he said if I was not going to act like an adult he was going to hang up on me which he did. I know he has no intention of having a manager call me back. He is making it out to be like he is a victim. This way he does not have to report what actually happened. I cannot imagine any sales rep for any institution behaving in this manner. Chuck was quite a bit more degrading during our exchange but it's too much detail to go into. I would never give business to IDX.
This company is a SCAM and will be out of business soon
I would rate my experience as a negative star on the chart of 1-5 starts.
I received a letter from Change Healthcare that my medical data was hacked, this company has ties to medical insurance company United Heath Care / United Health Group. I filled out forms to enroll with IDX which was offered as a monitoring credit service for 2 years for FREE. I also completed webform asking many questions not found on the IDX website. That was on 10/15/2024, the same day I received email stating "We are confirming receipt of your help request and will be in touch within one business day to assist you." I never received any feedback from IDX. I again email directly this time to them on 10/17/2024 - and again never received anything back. I call on 10/22/2024 and left a message. Today is 10/28/2024 so I called 800-939-4170 and after 20 minutes on hold I hung up.
If someone had a true Cyber Crime they needed help with I don't believe IDX would be the company to help as they don't answer emails nor answer the phone.
Moral to the story: If it is FREE, beware likely the services and products are JUNK. I am in process of deleted the IDX account and all the data I entered.
Couldn't even complete account creation…
Couldn't even complete account creation following an attempt of a sign-up (received letter in the mail from Change Healthcare which is handling United Healthcare's data breach) but after reading these other reviews I won't even bother.
If I could give a -10
If I could give a -10, I would!
I have been involved in 9! 9 Data breaches. So when I get another letter, I call right away. No company has offered 2 years of protection. So I could not see an account # anywhere….. odd. I called. The pleasant person said “ just put in the information in the box when you sign up on the internet.” I figured it was on the back page. I also asked what companies that they were payors for that involved my information. “We don’t keep a record of that here, we are IDX, the credit monitoring company, not Change Healthcare”, I don’t think you can find that out unless you call your medical providers and find out who uses Change Healthcare”.
So in that little box, is only a web address to sign up, no account number, to ID me as a valid person. The entire handout looks exactly like a Medicare bulletin. Funny thing. A previous resident received one at this address stuffed in a much smaller envelope looking like a BCBS envelope. I am familiar with both. Haha, their scam is elaborate. I blocked the number. Good luck everyone!
You are probably in greater harm trusting IDX as they are unreachable
The Change healthcare breach offered IDX as a monitor for my identity and while I have been breached so many times in the past and currently, One of the companies I currently have is IDX and they seem to be the last ones to know what's going on in the background compared to the notifications I get with other companies I have from other breaches. When I tried to at least add the Change breach offer to my IDX account for the 2 year coverage it wouldn't let me in as my email address is already in the IDX system so when I emailed them for assistance, the reply was we'll get back to you in 1 business day and have not. When I replied back to that email for help, I am still being ignored. Shame on Change Healthcare for offering such a F'ing placebo for a breach that they neglected to shield us from. The GREED of Corporations these days is unexcusable!
Information at Sutter Health was…
My information at Sutter Health was hacked. The senior staff MBAs did not take responsibility for the hack and apparently hired this unknown company to monitor my data. I’m not giving out my private data to this unknown IDX company to get hacked or used in the black market.
Useless website
Useless website. And because of that I don't trust it at all! What a shame that victims of ID theft can't get the protection we need. Thankfully we have taken other steps to protect our credit and social security numbers.
What a joke! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.
Got a spam letter from Change Healthcare
Got a spam letter from Change Healthcare, do not sign up for this as this whole thing is a marketing scam to get your SSN and data on this IDX platform. Stay aware, stay safe and stay away from IDX!
Fraud …
I received a letter from Charm Healthcare about their data breach and they offered IDX credit monitoring. I’m so sorry I signed up for this. I gave them all my personal information and then they say they can’t identify me so I have no credit monitoring but they have my personal information? I requested my information be deleted which they say, deletes your account also. I can’t login to my account now and they won’t send me a password reset but they still email me as if I have an account with them so they have not gotten rid of my information they’ve just blocked me from accessing my account. If you call, no one ever answers and they have not responded to numerous emails. This is a scam and if I were you, I’d stay away from this fraudulent company.
Don't go near them!
Horrible, useless company.
As others have said, they are supposed to be monitoring my hacked account for two years. They will not even accept me in their database. That is probably fortunate. I have just frozen my credit.
Spam from IDX idx-AT-mg.idx.us…
All emails from IDX idx-AT-mg.idx.us like "Verify your email address" were automatically put in Spam folder by Gmail. If IDX is not smart enough to take the simple steps to avoid having their emails flagged as spam, then that is a red flag. First impressions all negative. No way I will give them my SS#, nor unfreeze credit reports for them. I have left everything frozen at all 3 bureaus for years, and only had to unblock once. So that I never get bothered by.idx, I blocked the idx ema0l, and gave them fake phone number. The consumer-protection bureaus and AGs should make the entities that are breached provide better monitoring services rather than worthless scams like idx that are apparently lowest bidders or worse (I wonder about kickbacks... why would Change hire idx after seeing reviews here?)
I received a long letter from Change…
I received a long letter from Change Healthcare - a company I knew zero about. I called the only phone number given, which was for Idx. A woman parroted what I'd read in the letter. Allegedly my healthcare information and all my credit information has been compromised. I googled Change Healthcare and its web presence says that it is affiliated with United Healthcare group which is the parent group of United Healthcare, with whom I used to be affiliated. I moved forward to get the free monitoring with Idx but its software is "buggy" and fortunately I couldn't complete the sign up information. This entire thing feels like a scam.

UR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH .U HAVE NEVER RESPONDED ,CAN'T EVER GET THROUGH ON PHONE UR A SCAM. MY BIRTHDAY AND YEAR I WAS BORN IS WRONG. I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET IN TOUCH WITH U. PEOPLE DUMP THIS COMPANY NOT REAL
IDX CREDIT MONITORING
I received notice on September 20 year 2024 regarding the change healthcare breach. I refuse to do anything online and requested an application to be sent to me only to receive notification on October 2 address to a wrong name that I had been enrolled in this IDX, only to find out that I was not enrolled I have made four additional phone calls to that company now everything I do is now recorded Yes, I do. Let them know. They are being recorded.. I have also called the attorney generals office. I have also contacted the attorneys office that is handling the class action lawsuit so these may be steps that we can all take to protect ourselves from that company, oh, and by the way Change healthcare systems is now owned by OPTUM and their phone number is 866-371-9066 which after half an hour on hold I hung up last phone call I made I hung up with the representative because I got tired of hearing the dog bark and then once she flushed the toilet, I just was done Extremely unprofessional they are the cheapest it’s from $39-$59 a year to have the service so technically they’re giving us what they’re paying for which is basically nothing I’d rather go on it spend money out of my pocket which I don’t have a reputable company, then have to take what they gave us so as soon as the attorney calls me back, I will be telling him this information as well
It is an insult to injury !
I received IDX as compensation for a Hospital Data breach. They were hacked a second time a few months later and I again was offered an IDX subscription, but apparently not possible with an existing coverage (I am pretty certain the CS guy was high).Today I got an alert from my free bank credit monitoring that my SSN had been used twice, luckily they had tried using a defunct address, so thankfully unsuccessful. I tried reaching IDX, but after spending an hour in the cue they dropped my call. This service is like getting flipped off by the hospital.
Worthless Company that is Dishonest
This company is useless. The customer service is horrible. All they give you is the runaround. They have no answers. The customer service representatives are trash. They have bad attitudes, gaslight their customers and nothing is never done to help their customers. The supervisors don’t help either. They don’t provide the upper management bosses information, operator ID, division, unit, or any information to the customer to hold anyone accountable. They never call you back and don’t provide any information to the person who is over them as their boss. It is a company that is a scam and I don’t trust them. IDX is not a company to recommend.
HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE. PASS the buck, (responsibility) This is from the Billions of accounts hacked / data breach recently...... We were given 2 years "free" monitoring from IDX. Just follow the instructions..... :-))))) :-((((
• Followed emails and created user account on IDX site. Not exceptionally easy and relatively lengthy process.
• Do not stop there!! You must tell them you want them to monitor your credit and accounts.
• Logged in and under Services “tab” on left side, you must identify yourself again
• Fill out the personal info again (including your SSN) UGGH OK I understand why, but after ANOTHER breach we give out our SSN again, which is ANOTHER data point that can be hacked and used to steal our identity and money. Then…… under Identity Confirmation….
• Answer Credit Monitoring Set up Questions…………… MORE
• These are “Public information” questions that you should know….. Really? You ask a 75 year old about the a vehicle they may or may not have owned or leased prior to 1988? Slight exaggeration, but some of the questions are REALLY ambivalent.
• So finally… I answered the 5 or 6 questions. (CORRECTLY!!!!) Hmmmm seems they can’t verify me…. Try again………………….. Same results…………………try again………………..contact support via email.
• I did so with no response back after several days.
• Found the phone number to call. Called and this is a summary of over 3 hours on the phone trying to get it resolved.
o Phone call disconnected from IDX multiple times having to reidentify myself each time….UGGHHH
o OHHH they didn’t tell us our credit files from the bureaus must be unfrozen….. After everyone told us the first thing to do was freeze our accounts
o OK, unfrozen. Tried again……. NOPE, same results. Contact support.
o Called again and again. OHHH probably some information in one of the credit bureaus reports is wrong and they don’t agree………………… Verified ALL bureaus information.
o Called again. OH….. did anyone give you the phone number for AFTER you have created an account and are having problems????? NO, none of the 5 previous representatives did. Repeated numbers as they were given to me and I wrote them down on paper.
o Called the number (Which has a different caller ID) and you wonder if they gave you the correct information. Prestera Center – 1-800-939-4170.
o Called…… Busy, Busy, Busy
o Waited, waited, waited
o Called….. YES! Ohhh just a recording and put on hold because “We are experiencing a high volume of calls recently” Really? Get more reps with the Billions of people trying to call.
o So waiting…..so far 20 minutes…….
