All good so far, great app and system
Only been using a couple of weeks, but great so far. The kids have physical cards and they're learning about budgeting. Had a small issue, Ajendra on live chat was great and helped me out.

I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with HyperJar. My account has been suspended since Saturday, and I have been left without access to my own money. This has had a devastating impact on my family. I have had no money to buy food for my children or cover essential daily expenses.
The lack of communication and the length of time it has taken to resolve this issue are completely unacceptable. Customers should not be left in a situation where they cannot access their own funds, especially without clear updates or a timeframe for resolution.
I urge HyperJar to resolve this matter immediately and improve the way they handle account suspensions so that no other family has to go through this. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and hardship, and I sincerely hope it is addressed as a matter of urgency.

Absolutely disgraceful - Avoid
Absolutely disgraceful. It has taken almost a week to withdraw funds from my account and I have yet to receive confirmation. I have been a HyperJar customer since 2021, periodically paying money into my account. When I attempted to withdraw around £5000, the company has blocked the transaction. It will only communicate by email and is being incredibly slow to respond. I have provided all the information requested to confirm this is a legitimate withdrawal and have still not received confirmation. They have now blocked my access to my account and so I cannot even use the very limited live chat function. As of today I am still waiting to receive the ~£5,000 transferred with no phone call or correspondence to confirm when o can expect this.
Avoid at all costs if you want modern day banking services and a basic level of customer service.

Hyper jar is a great app that we can use with ease. Our 16 year daughter uses Hyper jar as contactless payment and we can keep track on her spending.

Hyper jar has been a brilliant app and…
Hyper jar has been a brilliant app and bank service for both me and my children. They had a card each when younger and it was a great way to teach financial responsibility and some budgeting and money management. Also customer service has been great and quick. Dealt with Ajendra today who sorted an issue due to my card being old and tattered and was very helpful. Would recommend.

Card fault - resolved quickly
I contacted HyperJar via live chat regarding my daughter payment card, which had developed a fault. Ajendra dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently, explained everything clearly, and arranged for a replacement card to be sent out.

A fraudster tried to access my account and take more than I authorised, thank you to the team at Hyper Jar, they didn't take any money.

I am extremely disappointed with my…
I am extremely disappointed with my experience using HyperJar. My monthly salary has been held in a pending transfer while my account is under review, leaving me without access to money I rely on to pay my rent and other essential bills.
As soon as I was asked for information, I provided everything requested, including proof of identity, my work invoice, WhatsApp conversations showing I submitted my invoice to my employer, and a full explanation of the transactions. Despite fully cooperating, my transfer has remained pending with no clear timeframe for resolution.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the live chat support. Every time I contacted them, I was met with generic, copy-and-paste responses that didn’t address my questions or provide any meaningful update. It felt like no one was actually looking into my case, and there was no sense of urgency despite explaining that my rent is due.
I understand that financial institutions have legal and regulatory obligations, but customers also deserve clear communication, timely reviews, and support that goes beyond scripted responses.
Based on my experience, I would be very hesitant to use HyperJar as my main account for receiving my salary. Having your wages tied up when you have financial commitments is incredibly stressful, and the lack of helpful customer support only made the situation worse.
HyperJar please assist me in resolving this asap. I have all documentation provided. I will be left with late payment fees if this is not resolved asap
