Absolutely Categorically NO

I have thought long and hard over what review to leave, I fully understand that any review reflects on a company, and more so on its ability to pay its employees, but, yes there it is BUT what the owner of this company has done to two paying customers is unforgiveable, I am fully aware he will read this and answer, after 14 months of supposedly working extremely hard on the cases they walked away? We have only been told verbally, we learnt Hydrogard have dropped the cases from the other side?

Great service and advice

Hydrogard Legal Services have been brilliant regarding a dispute I had with Anglian Windows. Frustrated by poor customer service and multiple attempts to resolve issues with window installation, I engaged the services of Hydrogard. Chris Brown listened to my concerns, provided advise on my options every step of the way. I felt I could then make informed decisions on what was best for my family and I in the circumstances. At times is has seemed a lengthy process, however, I dread to think where I would be without engaging the services of Hydrogard to assist in securing a resolution. Thanks Chris and the Hydrogard team for all the help and support in this matter.

All bark and no bite

For us it was a case of throwing good money after bad. We had issues when Magnet installed a kitchen in our home... they took 5 months, nearly crushed my toddler in a serious incident, left my kitchen tap live (I was electrocuted) and cut through my newly installed underfloor heating and solid oak flooring... then they stopped answering my calls. We were left with no downstairs heating over the winter with three children under 5-years, and thousands of pounds worth of remedial works. It was unbelievable - Magnet denied all responsibility despite the fact that they had insisted that I used their kitchen fitters to avoid anything going wrong. Hydrogard saw my online complaints and offered their services. They had good reviews online so I paid the sign up fee of £500 - I didn't know what else to do. Magnet had refused to give me the address of their kitchen fitter so I couldn't take him to court. On the advice of a solicitor I took Magnet to court instead but I was inexperienced and the judge ruled in their favour (hard lesson to learn but contracts are stronger than ethics and justice). At first there was a lot of enthusiasm from Hydrogard. I received a phonecall - 'We've got them bang to rights'. I was so relieved to be able to put the nightmare behind me and correct the ongoing issues we were having. So I waited. And I waited. And I waited. And I heard nothing. So I chased it up, only to be told that they had decided to drop the case. When I pushed the matter, I was advised just to let it go so that I didn't become angry and bitter. On the surface this could be perceived as sound advice, however it is also a highly manipulative thing to say - there is no way to counter it without sounding angry and bitter!! In another life I could have perhaps admired the sneakiness, however, to be honest, it wasn't very well received. A few days before receiving that message, we had had an internal leak that flooded our kitchen. I am so grateful we had the severed underfloor heating system switched off at the mains, because if it hadn't been, then whoever was first down for breakfast - often my children - would have most likely been killed.

I have decided to transpose the letter you are speaking about in your review. You did not communicate accurately the situation to us at Hydrogard, you told us your son had been injured by a door falling on him, yet in court you said he didn't, you also mentioned the water leak and the electrocution, which we wrote to AWB Charlesworth Solicitors about and notified you in our update letter dated 10th June 2022, which was a whole month prior to the last letter we sent, which is shown below and which was dated 18th July 2022.
Dear Miss Shaw;
Further to our recent communications with Magnet regarding your Contract with them and the kitchen fitted by their approved Contractor John Lush, the installer.
Magnet have again responded with evidence given in the court hearing and very specifically responded to the points previously stated to them, i.e. that your son was injured by the falling door and that you were electrocuted by the kitchen sink being made live by the poor fitting carried out by John Lush.
In their letter to Hydrogard Legal Services, AWB Charlesworth Solicitors, Magnets legal team pointed out quite correctly that you were asked directly by the judge whether the door had actually fallen on someone, to which you replied it had not. From a legal perspective this clears up the argument about personal injury to your son.
With regard to the issues around the sink, apparently the issues were rectified to your satisfaction at the time, they also pointed out the fact that you had signed “Magnet’s 24 month installation Guarantee” acknowledging that the installation services under the Contract had been completed to your satisfaction.
It is very difficult, in fact almost impossible to counter the fact that you signed a document to say you are satisfied and then to retract that signed document and argue that you were not truly satisfied and have issues. Unfortunately you had already started a court process against Magnet and as subsequently as proven in the court hearing, the court and the judge accepted the facts that Magnet were not a party to the works undertaken by Mr John Lush and your claim was dismissed.
In this regard there is nothing more we can do against Magnet, although we will continue to chase Mr John Lush as the individual responsible for the damage to your home.
I am sorry this is not the news you would have wanted to hear but we will endeavour to pursue Mr Lush for you.

The Team at Hydrogard Services kept me upto date with the process and secured a comprehensive result, including removal of the material and re-installation of standard loft insulation. Great work!

I contacted Hydrogard and spoke to…Chris Brown

I contacted Hydrogard and spoke to Chris back in August 2022. I am a victim/survivor of a cowboy builder. I had been getting support from citizens advice but it was dragging on. Chris has given me not only legal advice but the courage and strength to keep going. He has been with me every step of the way, giving me advice when ive needed it. I now have trading standards and the police involved. An independent surveyors report has been produced which will incriminate the builder for the damage he has done to our property. Had our paths not crossed I don't think I would be here today writing this review. I cannot recommend Chris enough for his professionalism, knowledge, communication and just being there. I still have a fight ahead of me but knowing everything has been done legally step by step has given me the confidence to keep going. Thankyou so so much. xx

We had to a problem with Zenith…

We had to a problem with Zenith Staybrite they hadn't registered our front door with insurance company and were told there was nothing we could do then along came Hydrogard legal and Paul helped us out as we took out finance and was very helpful we couldn't have sorted this without Paul's help.

I had several issues with Carpetright…

I had several issues with Carpetright and was getting nowhere with them.
A good friend of mine suggested that I contact Chris Brown at Hydrogard Legal Services and everything was put right to my satisfaction very quickly.

Highly recommend Hydrogards Legal services

I had undergone a cosmetic surgery procedure in 2019 with a very reputable company. Unfortunately, they didn't do what I had asked and the surgery was almost a complete was of time and pain due to not getting any results.
I had asked for a refund due to their nelegect of following procedures and clients wishes however I was unsuccessful. They didn't listen to me and my views on this matter. After speaking with a couple of Solicitors, I had almost lost hope as they all stated they wouldn't help as this type of case has lost in court previously.
After speaking with Chris in Hydrogards, he had managed to give me hope again. After him and his team worked effortlessly on my case, they managed to argue my case to the company successfully that they didn't want to go to court, and therefore settled out of court.
I had been trying for 2 years with no luck... Hydrogards legal services got involved and the case settled under a year. Thank you for your services. I will only use you and your team and highly recommend you to others that may need your services.

Amazing services from Hydrogard

I had a horrible experience with Zenith Windows. Bad installation and even worse customer service. The installation caused serious damage to my house. Half of my house had been so badly damaged that the plaster had blown and even fallen off causing more damage. Zenith windows of course did not accept liability and eventually, went into liquidation. After years of fighting with them... I had no where to go. I spoke to Chris and his team on this matter and not only did they have all the patience of a Saint... but they explained everything to me clearly and simply for me to understand. They had explained that even though Zenith has gone into liquidation, i was still covered as i took out finance. Within the next year, Hydrogards have managed settle my claim and demanded for my house to be re-rendered. Forever grateful. I wouldn't have been able to do this without Hyrdogard.

I can not praise Chris Brown at…

I can not praise Chris Brown at Hydrogard Legal Services highly enough for his "never say die" attitude.
He managed to obtain a considerable refund for me from Wren Kitchens for faulty and potentially dangerous workmanship in excess of £2K.

Incorrect car finance.

In 2013 I bought a new Mazda 6 and it was a natural assumption that the finance agreement was correct. When Chris pointed out to me that it wasn’t and the reason why I was more than happy to hand it over for Hrdrogard to deal with and resolve. That was in 2018 and thankfully I’m now able to put the whole episode behind me.

Cannot fault the valuable legal advice…

Cannot fault the valuable legal advice I received with regards to a second hand car purchase. Chris was very good at advising me each step of the way of my rights as a consumer- even when I was being advised wrongly by the shoddy car company. I would highly recommend hydrogard…

I would highly recommend hydrogard legal services following the help I have received from Chris and his team with a dispute with zenith/Altringham homes/clearwin. Chris couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, he offered up his time and advise all at no cost to help my 81 year old grandma receive her money back following a scam in 2013/2017. Sorted out some issues I had been…

Sorted out some issues I had been having with a total gutter, fascia and soffit installation that had been problematic from the very start. They managed to get the company to take action to repair the issues where I was unable to get them to respond to any of my emails or phone call. Highly recommend them!

Please stop writing to us…..

We do have solar panels but they were bought before May 2015 so by the definition of your own letter you can’t help us. We have rung and talked to you about this and yet the letters continue…..! We have asked you politely to stop writing to us but despite your GDPR obligations you just continue to do so unhindered.

We are not interested, would not use your service as you appear to care so little for your potential clients views & rights, but most importantly you can’t help.

Please stop!

I fully recommend Hyrdogard Legal Services

I would commend Hyrdogard legal services for their help in resolving an issue with work previously done by Zenith Staybrite Ltd .
I had a conservatory build by Zenith in 2013 and noticed in 2019 that the conservatory was moving away from the property - even though I had a 10 year warranty much to my dismay I found out that Zenith had gone into liquidation in 2017.
After exhausting other routes through insurance companies and many surveys that were all rejected because the conclusion for the problem was due to bad workmanship ( insufficient foundations) and therefore I could not make a claim .
I found Hydrogard legal services who have taken this up with credit company and due to there persistence, have resulting in being successful in making a very satisfactory claim.
I would highly recommend anyone who needs help with similar problems .

Help with Impra Gaz …

I would like to express my gratitude to the company Hydrogard Legal Services . In September 2018 I bought a full heating system package : a new combi-boiler plus ten years annual service check paid in advance to the company “ImpraGaz”. Me and my family are big fans and admirers of the entrepreneurial spirit and industrious person Lord Alan Sugar and that`s why with big interest we were following the TV programme “ The Apprentice “. When it came time to choose a new boiler for our household it was a clear choice, which company to choose. Of course the company “Impra Gaz with the young chap Joseph who won the “Apprentice-2015” gaining Lord Alan Sugar as a business partner in the process. In fact we would never have heard about Impra Gaz if it wasn`t for Lord Sugar.
So the boiler was installed and everything was good until the time for the second annual service . Impra Gaz mysteriously disappeared . I was shocked. I paid in advance money for ten years annual service and no one could explain to me why I should be ripped off. Is it possible the partner of Lord Sugar who learnt a lot from the great man and owes him a debt of gratitude and the company with such a great ambitions to set its sights on the international stage just to leave his clients in the lurch ??? What had this young entrepreneur learned?
I was so devasted, maybe more than mental health problems of Meghan Merkle .

Fortunately I came across “Hydrogard Legal Service “. They were my saving grace because not only did they save my dignity and stopped my humiliation by the greatest Apprentice winner but also they helped me to return the money paid in advance for the annual service check . After their help and fighting for my rights I felt like a valued human being . Thank you so much to all staff from Hydrogard Legal Service . God bless you and please continue your professional and worthy job . I would highly recommend the Hydrogard service .
