The Thrasher Ipswich. Very nice and friendly atmosphere especially from Nathan who is always smiling. Just could do with more bar staff as always a wait for drinks.

Very disappointing experience – cold food and unacceptable waiting time

We visited the Hungry Horse ( Hooden horse) on Saturday 29th August at around 5:30pm as a party of four. At

We placed our order together, so we naturally expected the four meals to arrive together or at least within a reasonable time of each other. Unfortunately, two meals arrived and the other two were then left waiting for approximately 25–30 minutes.

This was particularly frustrating because another table opposite us arrived around 10 minutes after we did, yet they received all of their food together while I was still waiting for mine.

When my food eventually arrived, it was cold. I decided not to complain at the time because we had already been waiting so long, and I did not want to risk having to wait another 20 minutes for the meal to be replaced.

The service itself was also disappointing. When the staff member came to clear the table, his manner was quite abrupt and he was speaking very loudly, calling out the orders when bringing the food over. It didn’t make the experience feel particularly welcoming or professional.

For me, the biggest issue was that four people placed their orders together, yet two of us were eating while the other two were still waiting 25–30 minutes later — and the food that eventually arrived was cold. That is simply not an acceptable standard of service.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience warranted one. Hopefully the restaurant will take this feedback on board and improve both the coordination of orders and the standard of customer service.

Wonderfully friendly staff, Georgia was very helpful and very accommodating! Would definitely recommend the Bradmore Arms for any occasions! Family parties, meals or just a pint and a game of arrows👍🏻

Was first time i used this pub and it was great as the staff were helpful and the service was excalent as the food was great and didnt take long for the food to come to table after ordering plus the food was very hot and was good value for money also a very busy pub the name of pub was the supermare in weston super mare in somerset will be going there again when i visit the area again

Had a meal on bank holiday with the family.
It was nice and quiet,didn't wait long for our food. Staff were friendly,polite and we enjoyed our meal. Didnt catch everyone's name that served us but one young lady was called Maz and she was also very polite and friendly .

Very disappointing experience at The Bradmore Arms

I visited the Bradmore Arms on 16th August and ordered the chicken skewers. Unfortunately, they were absolutely nuked — completely burnt, hard and not edible.

A waitress asked the manager to come over, and I explained the problem with the food. His response was, “I’m sorry it’s not to your taste.” This was particularly disappointing given that the issue wasn’t a matter of taste; the food was quite simply burnt and inedible.

We were offered a dessert as compensation, but unfortunately didn’t redeem it as the chocolate torte base was stale as well.

Since eating there, I have also been unwell with gastritis, which has made the whole experience even more concerning. I cannot say for certain that this was caused by the meal, but the timing has certainly added to my concerns.

Overall, a really poor experience. Burnt, inedible food, a stale dessert and a dismissive response from the manager. Quite frankly, very disappointing and certainly not the standard I’d expect from a Hungry Horse pub.

Its very quick and nice service, Staff are freindly, polite and efficient. Food was delicious and on point, always a good place to grab a pint. Overall, Brilliance in its establishment

Food came out cold
Paid £3 extra for Mac n cheese it was about one mouthful and microwaved before coming out.
I had a chicken sub and it came out cold and tasted like Aldi cheap chicken and the bread was terrible.
The chips where cold and looked stale and like thed been sat there for a day.
Partner'meal was chicken topped with cheese and served with chips again chicken dry and and not freshly cooked so seems this place don't cook there food on the go it must be stored and heated up. For the price you pay I'm disgusted and will definitely not return I'll take myself to MC Donald's

All I can say is the pub has a warm friendly atmosphere,the food is great,and the staff are very friendly and professional,nothing was to much trouble.

Amy was very welcoming and treated me and my friends very nice .Warren is a go to place now for us all thank you to amy

When they decided to serve us for drinks it took them 15 minutes to get round to serve the customers that pay there. Found a piss poor attitude from the staff and the manager. The Black Bull at Folkestone

Popped in for a drink whilst passing through , staff ( Harry) were very welcoming and polite.

Love this spot, has a stunning outside area. Food is amazing (Thank you so much Dean) and vibe is good. Huge outdoor screen. You cant go wrong!!!!
