The Super Mare in Weston Super Mare.
My mum recently had her 90th birthday and we had a surprise meal for her at The Super Mare with family and friends getting together. We were able to put up balloons and banners for mums special day and take a birthday cake for her.
The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant allowing us to put up the balloons and banners, then when they brought the cake out they were singing happy birthday and had even put candles on the cake as an extra special touch for her.
My mum really enjoyed the surprise, the food and the hospitality shown by all the staff.

Staff very polite and helpful. Food was great. Would have given stars but anything grilled was unavailable as the kitchen was having problem with a rogue grill. All in all a great experience.

Awful experience food was like microwave meals absolutely disgusting no manners whatsoever when the guy gave us our food it was thrown at the the table when we walked into the restaurant/pigsty full of rude staff was greeted by a staff member asking my cousin what are they staring at how low can u get in life so incredibly rude i am mortified !!!!

Me and my partner went to the hungry horse in Darlington also known as the woolen mill for a meal and each decided on burgers and fries, although she got the vegetarian option and I got the meat option. We ordered at the bar and paid and sat down. Within 1-2 minutes the waitress came out with our meals which was probably a new world record. My burger was really tough and hard not one bit of moisture or juices at all in it, like it had been in a hot plate or similar for hours the bread buns was soft though. My partner said her burger tasted bland and tasteless. We've been here on previous occasions and had burgers and they've always been nice but this was by far the worst burger ive ever had in my life, tough like old leather. The fries were ok, the only reason we didnt complain was because we were told "if we were ordering food then be quick as the kitchen was about to close" it was only about 8pm in the evening. So if your planning on going to the hungry horse or wollen mill as its also known then make sure to go before the kitchen is about to close as they are probably emptying the hotplate out from the burgers cooked 3 hours earlier.

Was a great experience, the staff handled our food snd service really well. The food was hot and really tasty with the time it took to come out. Props to the staff for handling this birthday event. Ps- bring back the crown of burgers

Very well looked after and meals were very good. Maz proved to be an excellent hostess and catered for all our groups needs

We tend to always pick the hungry horse in Yeovil. Food is always good, good value for money. Staff are amazing, always working hard to please you. Special thanks for tonight's experience to Dillion and Joanne, who were so helpful and polite and really made our night.

We visited Taunton hungry horse yesterday and we both had a lovely meal each. I had 16oz steak and my daughter had a double gravy burger. Absolutely fantastic a massive thank you to the chef. Would recommend very tasty meal reasonable for today's prices and very filling. 2 every happy customers.

Today mum & I ordered steak, mine was good but mums was tough and mostly inedible. The manager and staff were superb in rectifying. I cannot praise them anymore then 10/10 .

We are regular customers and we love the atmosphere and relaxing environment the staff are absolutely fantastic very customer focused well done to Diana and her team for delivering great customer service lovely establishment to be in would recommend it for family get togethers and party's and dog friendly aswell
