Poor

Was on the M25 and had one of their drivers in a small van over taking in 3 different lanes at over 80mph and then was flashing me to move out the way in the middle lane. Then passed me and put his middle finger up on the way past with not no uniform but a grey hoodie.
I don’t know how you work but if that’s a reflection of your company it’s disgusting. I hope the rest of S Walsh doesn’t go around like this else we’re.
Carelessness, Dangerous & vile.

This feedback is for another company, we do not own a small van. We have a blue Vauxhall Movano and it was not on the M25, it was sat in our car park at the time in question. S Walsh is another company entirely and we'd appreciate if you could remove this feedback.

Great service

I ordered an item on line, and an older version was delivered by mistake. As I’m in Australia it was a bit frustrating. But the immediate response and ongoing communication I received to get the correct item sent out and the original sent back was fantastic. I can’t thank the team enough for all the help and I didn’t have to wait long for the new item to arrive. Great service.

I have had a horrendous experience with this company. I ordered a Horia 2000. The tool arrived fine, but didn't have any attachments. I was able to exchange a few emails with Julie Walker, a customer service representative. After several days of not hearing from her, I called and spoke with her. I resent the photos for the third time and she finally saw the problem. She reassured me she would resolve the issue and surprise, the trail went cold again. I finally gave up. Good job H S Walsh, you got one over on me. I doubt the entire company is horrible, but my experience was. Can't wait to see how they attempt to flip this review around on me.

Firstly, we are sorry the item you ordered arrived with missing parts, unfortunately the manufacturer supplied the kit to us like this, we don’t open sealed products. The issue with your email was the file size, it was too large and we didn’t receive it. Once we spoke to you we realised the issue and replied promptly. We always try to reply to emails within 2 hours but occasionally this is not possible, we had numerous staff off sick or on holiday and it did take over a day to get back to your last email. I then noticed you placed an order for the missing parts separately which I contacted you about and refunded and sent to you free of charge. Unfortunately, the manufacturer refused to acknowledge the parts were missing from the kit but we did supply them to you at our expense. I’ve tried contacting you since, but not received any replies, so I can only assume the issue with this order is now sorted and hope you can appreciate we did all we could to help.

H S Walsh - Over many years, Always very professional and helpful.

Hi, I needed a Citizen watch caseback die that was advertised on their site. The only problem - that I've had before - was that I couldn't be 100% certain that it would fit my Citizen Aquamount. As they did with an Omega caseback die I ordered in the same circumstances, they agreed that a refund would be made if the die were returned unused.
As with the Omega, the die fitted perfectly so I can't say that I've tested H S Walsh's procedures in a 'practical' sense but I've been dealing with them for years and they've always been incredibly helpful and very professional.

Excellent

I have used this company for years and always found the staff polite, friendly, knowledgeable,and informative I have never had a problem all goods I have purchased have been well priced. The machine services they provide for repair and or service are very professional. I have purchased on line, over the phone and at their biggin hill branch and their delivery was always timely. As an amateur I have not always used the correct terminology but the staff have always listened and advised me accordingly. As I have now recently retired my hobbies are fulfilling my time so I have the option of collecting in person from biggin hill were I was earlier today. As usual it was well worth the journey thank you all

Highly unprofessional!

Had to make a return as the item on the web site photo was wrong. Of course, I had to pay for it!

Two months later, no refund, no reply to my emails and phone calls, only to be finally told they didn't receive the item and expecting the customer to deal with it. Now claiming the cost through my CC company.

Stay away frome these unprofessional jokers!

Update: they are so unprofessional that they posted not one, but several blatant lies below. I sent them the Post Office receipt on September 8 and they never replied. I had to call them several times before they finally said that they had allegedly never received my parcel.

We reply to every email and answer every phone call, my colleague spoke to you yesterday. We have not received anything back from this customer, we also would have picked up any faulty items had the customer requested this, he didn't. Customer is also unable to provide return tracking information and appears to leave negative feedback on Trustpilot for everyone. The above feedback is simply untrue.

Terrible customer service and after sales

I purchased a faulty quartz movement from these crooks and tried two brand new batteries out with the one supplied which was a dud after checking so sent the movement back at my expense. They call me and let me know that they checked it and it worked fine so they are taking the p and will not refund the return postage.
I have spent a fortune at HS walsh but will not be purchasing anything again from them and will use Cousins for all my watch making requirements from now on. This is the second time I have had problems the last time they sent out faulty watch cleaning equipment and their sales buyer argued with me on the phone.
Avoid H.S Walsh at all costs cousins are buy far the cheaper .

We are sorry you are not happy with our service. However in this case the movement you returned was checked by our watchmaker with 65 years experience and there wasn't any fault, it was working. It's likely the batteries you were using were at fault. Our returns policy can be found under our terms and conditions on our website. I can see this item was refunded for you.

No appreciation for honest customers here

Any views, am I being unreasonable? I have ordered several times from HSW and the service has been OK. Recently ordered some watch repair gear and 2 boxes arrived. One had my order and the other an engraver listed at several thousand pounds sent to me in error. I've no idea if they could have tracked it to me, but since unsolicited goods doesn't apply in this case, and my honest nature, meant I immediately phoned them to tell them of their error. They were pretty incredulous this could have happened and said they it was for one of their major customers and would arrange a collection the next day. I stayed in all day to be sure not to mjiss the courier, who never arrived. Another phone call the next day and they said they would definitely pick up the following day, which they did. At this point I had stayed in for 2 days, made several phone calls, retaped the box and made sure the labelling was clear. My wife said later the company must be very grateful and what compensation had they offered for my wasted time and effort not only to get the machine back to them, but to avoid their embarrassment with a major customer. I had to admit they had offered nothing and hadn't called specifically to thank me. I think some appreciation was warranted, maybe 5% off my next order? A win for both of us. In all honesty it's the lack of appreciation that rankles, do I just expect too much from my fellow humans?

Unreliable

They let me down badly. I ordered a special watch strap on the 11th December and paid for courier service. UPS decided it was easier for them to dump it at a so called called collection point some distance away. I am disabled, cannot leave the house. I lost count the number of times H S Walsh promised that the package will be delivered to my house before Christmas. It was not and no explanation was offered. It was part of a Christmas present,now we'll and truly ruined.

We are sorry you missed the original delivery and were unable to collect from the local pick up point. We subsequently sent another shipment free of charge which arrived the following day after your call. You also then received the original UPS shipment as we requested they deliver as you couldn't pick up due to a disability. I'm not really sure what else we could have done, you've received two orders and only paid for one.
