We were the only customers in the store and Sue looked after my wife and I as if we were royalty.
She answered all our questions and pointed us to furniture that suited our height etc.
Never been in a shop for many years like this and we were even served tea and biscuits.
The best though was the lack of a hard sell which made such a change these days. Please thank her again from us.

Karen at Farnborough store was very helpful even though I explained that I had already arranged a home visit, but wanted to see the full range of chairs in store to decide which style/size was most suitable for me. I was able to see that a Super petite size would be best. I have now ordered a second standard size chair to complement `My` chair. But HSL do make very difficult to choose a suitable fabric, the books of samples are in no particular order so that I had go through all the samples to find all colours avaiable the Chamonix fabric I liked.

Parking was very easy. My husband and I were greeted at the door. We were able to wander around the show room at ease and when we needed some help Gill was on hand to give us just that. Gill was patient and gave good advice and had good knowledge of the products. My husband was undecided between two chairs, so Gill very kindly printed out two quotes for us to take away and have a think about it, there was no pressure. We went back to the same shop about a week later to make a decision and decided to purchase a chair. Unfortunately Gill was on a day off that day, but we were served by Sue I think who was equally polite and friendly. We had exceptional service from both members of staff.

The very warm welcome .Sue at Farnborough took us under her wing,explaining the difference between styles of furniture and sizes to accomodate us.We chose ‘chairs that hugged us’.She spent time with us and we really appreciated the whole experience.Would thoroughly recommend HSL.

I have to say that I can’t fault HSL Chairs. The showroom service is very professional and polite, and the delivery was on time and expert done in terms of price, you can get cheaper, but the type of sofa I wanted was not available elsewhere. I am very pleased.

We are very pleased with our new chairs which were delivered today by Jason and Ashley. They were helpful and polite. Excellent service.

the Farnborough location staff were excellent,Nothing was too much trouble and a lot of time was given to us.The delivery was first class and was installed in no time ay all.The product looks and feels perfect but time will tell.Only slight nag was in trying to pay.American Express for a time was not possible to use for some reason but eventually was.

In-store service was excellent, helpful and unhurried. We had plenty of time to compare seats and to sit for a good period in the one we settled on just to establish that it was the one that suited us.
We considered we got a good deal and are very satisfied with the chairs. However, there was a hiccup with delivery as the warehouse only loaded one chair. The delivery team took up our case with the office, which involved us showing our order sheet to them which finally convinced the office that the mistake was at their end. No complaint with the two chaps that brought us the initial chair. They arranged a date for delivery of the second chair which was delivered by a different team. They were equally helpful and we are happy with the second delivery. Had the two chairs arrived together, as intended, then we would rate this a 5 star service. Final little comment, could have done without the Trustpilot request after the first delivery!

Gillian was extremely helpful when I was choosing the chair I wanted. She made sure it was exactly the right size for me and also found a sample of the material of the chair so that I could double check that it would match the chairs we already have.
Your drivers were delightful and very helpful. Also they arrived exactly on time as promised from the initial phone call.

Visited Farnborough Branch on Tuesday 12 August 2025.From the time we walked through the doors we were made to feel welcome .The Consultant Karen Godfrey was knowledgeable, highly skilled and professional.

When AnyJunk let me down and didn't turn up to take my old bed and sofa away, Edwin and Garry went above and beyond, dismantling the old furniture and piling it neatly outside the property for when AnyJunk finally bothered to turn up. They then went on to install my new furniture, patiently positioning it where I wanted and showing me how to use the charger and recliners.

The whole experience was delt with professionally and with care. The delivery by Ashley and Jason was done with great care and speed. We found them very friendly and efficient.

We went to the Farnborough showroom and asked to be measured for a chair. Alex took us through the whole process carefully and ensured my husband had a chair which fitted him and he could use the controller. We were offered refreshments and the opportunity to pay in store rather than over the phone for the final instalment. Everything was done clearly and kindly at a pace which suited us.

I just wanted to say how satisfied I am with hsl chairs. Karen who sold me my chair went through everything I needed know. She told me when I would be contacted about paying the balance. I was then informed about delivery I could choose my delivery date. I was text what time the delivery would arrive. I was then half an hour delivery. Jason and Andrew the delivery men were lovely even though it was not easy getting my chair through the door, they made it work. They also took away any packerging with them. Jason went through the instructions of how to work my chair before he left.
I would thoroughly recommend hsl.

The HSL showroom in Farnborough Hampshire was a lovely experience, the staff member Gillian was very helpful and experienced in considering our health needs in choosing a chair in regards to our physical condition and requirements. It was just like going back in time to the standards Britain had in the 1950s , My wife and I spent a long time deliberating over furniture we sampled while enjoying refreshments of tea and cakes , we had many questions that needed answers and they were meet in depth and knowledge of chairs that helped us choose a chair that answered our individual needs . The chairs we chose were made to our individual measurement's and in the fabric and colour we wanted, all the advice and supporting admin, care of furniture was followed up with us . delivery time indicated between 6 to weeks ,and was delivered in 6 weeks by HSL team Conor and Aidan both prompt of time and efficient in our positioning of chairs to our liking in the sitting room and the connection to the plug socket. The use of the hand button operational indicator for the chair and safety of the mechanism, instruction of battery care . Conor was very knowledgeable and experienced , believed in the company family run business and products , and good solid training given to staff . HSL is highly recommended by us .

Karen, the sales person who dealt with us was charming, knowledgeable and exceptionally interested in helping me choose a chair and spent a great deal of time explaining the merits of each rise and recline chair.
In accordance with the HSL policy, we were offered refreshments by Karen which also served to make our visit even more pleasant.
The whole atmosphere of the unit was calm, light and very conducive to choosing the right product.
Many stores could learn a great deal from HSL’s approach to staff quality and store atmosphere.

Visited the Farnborough HSL , it was a very pleasant experience. We were looked after by Alex who was very helpful and patient he even seemed to have a certain knowledge of my wife's back problem which made explaining her needs much easier. I was a bit dubious regarding the different sizes in the chairs but when Iwe tried the different sizes i was surprised in the comfort difference. Overall an excellent experience, he even made us a coffee, very pleased.

Very pleasant staff, discussed needs and all very efficiently dealt with, looking forward to delivery in due course.

Our experience choosing the chairs at the Farnborough branch was very pleasant. The young gentleman, Alex,who served us was very good, his knowledge of the products was excellent and he was a credit to the company. The chairs arrived today and we are very pleased with them. The two gentleman who delivered them were very good and courteous
and set them up in our lounge speedily.
All round very happy.

SUPERB SERVICE AND PRODUCT QUALITY. MET AT THE FARNBOROUGH DOOR BY KAREN AND AFTER A DICUSSION TO ME TO A RIPLEY RISER/RECLINER. I LIKED IT BUT KAREN THEN SHOWED ME TWO OTHER MODELS BUT I WENT BACK TO THE RIPLEY,. KAREN THEN ( AFTER BRINGING ME TEA AND BISCUITE S ) THEN TELLING ME HOW TO OPERATE IT LEFT ME TGO MY TEA FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO RELAX IN THE RIPLEY. I THEN BOUGHT IT . SUPERB !
