Very professional and Informative very quick to set chair up. Rang to say they were 25 minutes away and arrived within this time
Very happy with the delivery.

Vikki was very helpful and patient with me, taking time to try all the different sizes and types of recliners. Also, very helpful with the different types of fabric, there were so many. I’ve shopped elsewhere for furniture, but HSL have a excellent furniture. I bought several about ten years ago and it’s still going unlike furniture from else where.

Vikki was brilliant. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient and very friendly. She was only too happy to give us space to explore the showroom.
The products were fully explained and demonstrated. Her approach to customers was very professional and friendly.

The lady at the shop was very supportive, explained everything and didn’t rush me. Very thoughtful and had respect for me and my age so I understood everything .
What would be nice if the delivery people would wear carpet show protectors so not to bring in any outside dirt.

It was the excellent way I was treated and the options open to me.
Also on delivery an excellent service again by Carl P and Damion.

We visited the Chester HSL shop,was made very welcome, lovely staff offered us tea or coffee.We explained what we needed in a recliner chair Rachel who assisted us was very helpful,informative not pushy at all and helped us find the right chair for what I needed.She gave us an information booklet worked out a price.
We returned a few days later and ordered the chair.
Within 5 weeks on Tues 23rd Sept the chair has been delivered.Thanks to Paul and Jon deliverey men, who were very polite,assembled the chair very quickly, tested,and was very informative. My chair is so comfortable,well made,I am very pleased with my purchase. Thankyou! HSL team

Carl and Damion delivered our new furniture this morning and they were very friendly and polite. I had phone call half an hour before they came. Couldn't fault them. Also had good service from staff at Chester HSL.

Yesterday Carl and Kieron rang to confirm their time of arrival. They were friendly and took care in delivering my fireside chairs which are so well made and look beautiful. Overall a very good customer experience.

Excellent friendly service both in the showroom and the delivery service.
Good communication regarding delivery and a phone call when they were nearly ready to deliver chair.
Carl and Kieron were polite, efficient and made sure I was familiar with the chair and controls.

We love our HSL chairs. Just bought a second set. Wonderful for our arthritic backs. I've always found HSL as a company a pleasure to deal with. The delivery people were lovely ( Carl and Kieran). Happy to move chairs between rooms, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely a 5* company

We went to Chester shop and were impressed with the service we received from Richard,so helpful with sofas and showed us all the choices we had,and worked a very good price on the wall huger we selected.also the delivery team,Ian and Paul were very efficient with the pre delivery phone call and the fitting of the sofa,took all rubbish away and explained how everything worked,well pleased with everything, thank you all.Brian and Gill

The staff in the shop were very helpful with helping me with the choice of chair. It was delivered before it's expected date by Cairon and Paul who brought the chair in and put it together then explained how the chair works and the guarantees.

The whole experience with HSL has been really good, from purchasing in the Chester store with the pleasant and helpful ladies to the very efficient delivery by Alex and Greg.
Everyone was in contact within the promised time scale, the office staff were very pleasant and helpful, also the delivery drivers contacted within the promised time.

The staff, from the guy who came to my mum in law's house to demonstrate, to the delivery drivers, we're all extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum in law is very happy with her chair. It is comfortable and really helps her to stand up without struggling. Craig and Ciaran were lovely!!!

A very variable experience.

Due to disability I required a chair specifically to help with my back and various other difficulties. We chose a chair and all went well until it was delivered. It looked discoloured almost immediately, but I was having a bad patch and it took a while to notify HSL. Two independent reviews later and apparently they said it was "pile shading" and that it was worn out by my use. When I felt better we referred our complaint up the chain to another person who said, "I wouldn't accept that!"

We then chose a replacement chair, with the original payment refunded and paid a load more money, but we now have a splendid chair that meets my needs and does not look worn.

Great staff in store, who were very helpful. One very understanding and helpful member of staff in head office. Beware "pile shading" and being fobbed off for something that isn't right.!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we decided not to go ahead with purchase that same evening. We were told we had a breathing space of 48 hours in which we could cancel with no penalty
However, 8 days have passed with no refund of deposit. We’re told it should take no more than a couple of days?
It can take 14 days to refund. Not told this at the time but now received today

Great service in store from Richard plenty of information given and lots of questions were answered very patiently. No pushy sales just advice. Ordered my chair on Monday, it was in stock and delivery on Thursday. Kept well informed with regular phone calls from Carl and Lee. Arrived when they said and the put the chair together in the van so I didn't see any packaging. Then delivered it into the room. Very good experience and will definitely be looking to shop there in future.

I was looking for a comfortable chair for my mum who has advanced dementia and who has recently come home from a prolonged hospital stay due to a bad fall.
From the lovely, helpful and friendly staff in your Chester store to the very pleasant and helpful delivery and installation guys, the whole experience with HSL has been faultless.
