The attention and knowledge of the sales staff meant I was able to try several recliners, Carla knew which chairs would and wouldn’t suit or fit me, explaining too, how my feet and leg position showed this.

Because she took time with me , my husband had time to browse and we actually bought a three seater reclining sofa,that fits perfectly, so we can sit side by side and hold hands !

Julie D . Was spot on. She showed me what she thought would be my ideal arm chair. After trying most of the chairs in the shop I finally settled on the first one. I came to HSL after looking at several of the mainstream stores without sucess. I needed something a little more adjustable to accomodate my back aches. After sitting in it for about 30 minutes with cup of coffee the ache had gone. The following day I caĺled in and changed the material colour. There was no problem at all. A different lady but everything was sorted.
Service could not have been better.

Excellent in every way. Julie in the shop spent plenty of time explaining all the options and was not trying to push us into any of them. She then followed things up on the phone prior to delivery. The delivery was on time by 2 very helpful men from the delivery company. They too spent plenty of time showing us how to work the chairs. I wish all our purchases went like this.

Bought an adjustable bed and staff were friendly and very helpful and explained everything clearly. My bed has still to be delivered so can't comment on that.

Went into southmead Bristol shop with my mum,just for a look, there was no hard sale. She was made to feel comfortable by the assistant Cara answered all her questions about lift and rise chairs as she tried several chairs. As a result she brought one. I would recommend this shop for the verity of chairs and furniture, Also for cara who was very good with my elderly mum..Also she made a cracking cup of tea.

We had excellent service from Veronica at the Greystoke Avenue shop in Bristol. She asked for our requirements and then explained all the options and prices clearly. She was very patient and helpful and is a credit to HSL.

The 2 Julie’s at Bristol were most helpful. In particular Julie Parker attended to us, she was very patient and understood our requirements. With her knowledge she was able to make most helpful suggestions which enabled us to come to satisfactory decisions. An excellent representative for HSL.

At the Bristol Branch, we were greeted by Carla. She provided a cup of tea and determined what we wanted. She then showed us round the different chairs and settees and explained the features. She was very patient and helpful as we were undecided between different items. When we decided, she took our order and helped us select the options. She made the whole experience pleasant and relaxed. By far the best experience we have had buying furniture.

Luke and Neil from the Cardiff branch visited my parents’ house. They were very patient, funny and made my parent’s feel at ease. They didn’t rush us and kept asking if we were happy or had any questions. They are a credit to the company.

We were immediately impressed by our friends' new sofas, and having learned that they were from HSL and that HSL came with their strong recommendation, we found our way to the showroom and received the best informed, helpful, unhurried, and considerate attention, which resulted in our being able to choose confidently the very best model of armchairs for our purposes . We took away swags of our favourite fabrics and made our decision in just a couple of days. The finished chairs arrived ahead of our expectations and have proved as close to perfection as is possible. Can't say better than that!

Hannah made the experience of buying an armchair from HSL an unforgettable one, for all the right reasons. Her in-depth knowledge of the stock, styles and sizes was impressive, all delivered with a friendly and engaging manner. She really listened to my requirements and guided me to make my own decision. At no point was there any pressure to buy.

I now have a delightful armchair which just after it was delivered, I sat in for three hours! It has added great warmth and comfort to my sitting room.

The ladies (both called Julie) in the Bristol branch of HSL were excellent, they took the time to ensure that we ordered exactly the recliners that would suit our needs. They were very patient as we spent a long time to decide and even gave us tea and biscuits. The delivery was excellent and the chairs were ready to use.

Every thing was good but disappointed having been told delivery was 10-12weeks(and sometimes could be 10) when I placed order and paid was told delivery was 12-14 weeks very annoying as I had organised everything for the first delivery time quoted.

Wow what a fantastic experience.Their customer service was fantastic,Julie who served us was so carring never once did she rush us or make us feel that she was in a hurry. We bought a rise and recline chair for my father in law,she had so much patience.

The whole HSL Experience has been excellent. From the time spent in the showroom with Veronica and placing the order. Showing us some much needed patience trying many different sofa's to designing the one for us. That was in February, then 12 weeks later the Sofa was delivered by Martin and Jack. They were warm and friendly on arrival having called a couple of times to keep us updated on their progress to us. They got to work quickly getting the Sofa set up and tested. Followed by a quick demo of the different controls. That was it done, all very efficient, leaving us to enjoy the comfort of our new sofa. We highly recommend you try HSL you can expect a high quality product, professionalism and excellent service.
