Very helpful staff and great customer service. My chair was delivered in time and the delivery team, Edwin and Gary were great.

Help was provided to select the right seats and good advice given on disposing of the existing furniture.

Very helpful and knowledgeable advice from Hannah with no pressure and an emphasis on allowing us to take as much time as we needed. We haven't taken delivery yet but confident chair will be of the same quality as the showroom. Unfortunately the exact chair we wanted, which was on offer was not in stock so had to go for a custom build which was more expensive and a longer delivery time.

The staff were the best they knew details of what they were selling.They gave us their fukk atention and were in no way pushing to sell, Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The two members of staff were very helpful. They were able to give my mum time to try different chairs and leaving us time to talk about which one was the best fit for. There was no pressure to buy although we did find the perfect chair for her needs.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment that we entered HSL. Carla listened attentively to us as we explained the requirements of a chair that my wife wanted for our lounge. Carla showed us several chairs that my wife sat in before making a decision on a Glenmore chair. Carla showed us the booklets containing materials and put my wife under no pressure. The costs of the chair were explained as was the care kit and warranty that we took out. We have had a riser recliner that we bought from HSL in Plymouth about 16 years ago and which still works perfectly so HSL was a natural choice again when seeking a chair to assist my wife's intermittent back problems.

I visited the Bristol store with my son in January as I was considering purchasing an adjustable bed due to having fractured vertebrae and was finding it difficult sleeping in my bed.
We were greeted by a lovely lady called Carla. She was very understanding and helpful.
After all of her help I purchased a new 4ft adjustable bed and now I have received it I cannot thank her enough, the delivery was very good and on time and after a few nights getting used to it and adjusting it to suit me I am now sleeping a lot better.

Took my elderly parents to buy chairs. Julie at the Westbury branch was incredibly kind and patient. There was no hard sell, she just quietly showed us the range of chairs in the style they wanted and made really helpful suggestions. My parents were really happy with their final choice. Would highly recommend this branch for the professional and thoughtful staff.

The attention and knowledge of the sales staff meant I was able to try several recliners, Carla knew which chairs would and wouldn’t suit or fit me, explaining too, how my feet and leg position showed this.

Because she took time with me , my husband had time to browse and we actually bought a three seater reclining sofa,that fits perfectly, so we can sit side by side and hold hands !

Julie D . Was spot on. She showed me what she thought would be my ideal arm chair. After trying most of the chairs in the shop I finally settled on the first one. I came to HSL after looking at several of the mainstream stores without sucess. I needed something a little more adjustable to accomodate my back aches. After sitting in it for about 30 minutes with cup of coffee the ache had gone. The following day I caĺled in and changed the material colour. There was no problem at all. A different lady but everything was sorted.
Service could not have been better.

Excellent in every way. Julie in the shop spent plenty of time explaining all the options and was not trying to push us into any of them. She then followed things up on the phone prior to delivery. The delivery was on time by 2 very helpful men from the delivery company. They too spent plenty of time showing us how to work the chairs. I wish all our purchases went like this.

Bought an adjustable bed and staff were friendly and very helpful and explained everything clearly. My bed has still to be delivered so can't comment on that.

Went into southmead Bristol shop with my mum,just for a look, there was no hard sale. She was made to feel comfortable by the assistant Cara answered all her questions about lift and rise chairs as she tried several chairs. As a result she brought one. I would recommend this shop for the verity of chairs and furniture, Also for cara who was very good with my elderly mum..Also she made a cracking cup of tea.

We had excellent service from Veronica at the Greystoke Avenue shop in Bristol. She asked for our requirements and then explained all the options and prices clearly. She was very patient and helpful and is a credit to HSL.
