Avoid at all costs

Bought an expensive vehicle that’s had 8 different faults, been returned 7 times and I now need to go through hell to reject the vehicle because they don’t understand the fundamentals of consumer rights. No concept of customer service, inadequate complaints handling. Sometimes don’t reply even at head office level. Completely unconcerned with issues. No duty of care and have damaged the vehicle further during handling and trying to claim they didn’t do it, when I have direct evidence of the vehicle being collected in perfect condition. Avoid at all costs, I have reported this company to the motor ombudsman and trading standards. I’ve now had to hire a solicitor and fully intend to take this company to court and will make their non-compliant conduct with regulation very public. If you get involved with this joke of an entity it’s likely they will effect your mental health with astounding levels of incompetence and less understanding of their own industry regulations and practices than you could teach a 5 year old in an hour using google.

We have been using this dealership for…

We have been using this dealership for a number of years, and in the last year we’ve had a number of cars from them, Bentley Bentayga, Ferrari Portafino, and a Bugatti Chiron.

All 3 cars are still going strong, and recently came back from service, a little on the expensive side but it’s through work carried out on luxury cars. Will continue to use the team and Owen’s for years to come.

A little more attention to detail!

my Ferrari Portofino has been back three times with a leak in the roof the last time they had my car for three weeks and returned it beautifully clean but the leak persists. I have called then twice this week and I was assured that they would email, I eventually received an email , frankly given the circumstances I would have appreciated an email by return not a day later !

I booked my Aston Martin in for a service at Aston Martin Reading located in Pangbourne, and there was a lead time of 4/5 weeks. Dropped the car off at circa 09:30 on Wednesday 31st August, and advised them I needed the car back the same day. I had to call them at 16:00 for an update to be told that they had not finished the service. I advised them that I need the car for the following day by 10:30 as I have an interview in Newport Pagnall. No call received back. Had to book a taxi to take me to the interview at a total cost of £240. Still no call or dialogue from the dealer. Called them once I was out of the interview, to be told the person I was dealing with was off sick. The lovely receptionist said she would speak to the manager and get him to call me back with an update. It is now Friday morning, still no update and no interaction unless initiated by me.
Ridiculous customer service from a prestige brand!!!

HR OWEN STOCKPORT - Disappointing Service

Just purchased a car from HR Owen. car was over £50k. I was assured by the sales guy Ari that the car will be "fully prepared" when I come to collect it in two days time, but it wasn't. The car had just been washed and gleaming under the spotlights of the showroom but was not cleaned properly inside. Upon collection I noticed some chips at the front that should have been picked up and dealt with if the car had been inspected by someone, but clearly it was not inspected. They agreed to get the paint work done and on that basis I took the car, but a month later I am still waiting. They are quick to get the paperwork done but slow to get my car done because now it's sold and there is no urgency on their part. I was told the car would go to HR Owen in London and now they have told me they are arranging for someone to come to me and want me to send some pictures so they can get a price. Very amateurish and not the service I would expect from HR Owen.

H R Owen Lamborghini Service - Apalling!

H R Owen Lamborghini Service are a disgrace and an embarrassment to the Lamborghini Brand.
They have had my Aventador for nearly 3 years in total over 4 plus years of ownership experience since 2017.
The car has been returned for many faults since it was less than 3 weeks old, Coil Packs, Clutch, Alarm, Battery Drains, Gearbox, Faded Seat Covers, Rear Spoiler Faults including Mechanism replacement - 6 times and counting, plus other faults.
I was contacted previously by Paul King at HRO for the bank details of my finance company and myself for a refund that I had requested, where this came to nothing after they changed their mind. I had been told that this was decided by the Lamborghini Brand Director Rupesh, but this is only hearsay as he has never, NOT ONCE, had the decency or expectations of customer service to contact me, and discuss or apologise for the abysmal service I have received from HRO over 4 plus years.
The car has most recently been returned to me with faults that were not present when the car went into them in School Lane London. After the car having been with them from November 2019 when it went in for a service, it was eventually returned in June 2021 with the Air Con not working, on the hottest day of the year. After the usual excuses the car was picked up and returned to HRO to be repaired under the Lamborghini Warranty.
I was emailed and phoned by the Service Manager Paul King who confirmed that the car had been checked for leaks, none found, re-gassed, and was now definitely operating correctly and would be returned.
The car was eventually returned again and dropped in my drive at the end of September 2021, nearly 22 months after they had taken it in for a service.
When the car was taken out for drive at the first opportunity a couple of days later, it was found that the Air Con was not working, and now does not even light up on the dashboard when requested, plus the rear spoiler mechanism is once again faulty.
Hence, the car now has 2 faults, still present as of 01/02/22, that were not present when the car was taken into HRO.
I had to arrange through Lamborghini Warranty and Assistance myself to get authority for the car to be picked up and returned to HRO as the Service Manager Paul King was just giving me the run around for 2 weeks, where he had contacted Lamborghini Assistance, unknown to myself, and tried to get the car taken into Grange Lamborghini Chelmsford and pass the car off on another dealer due to their continued incompetence. This was confirmed to be by Lamborghini Assistance, and the service manager Paul King was indifferent to having been caught out blatantly telling lies.
The car transporter from Olympic in London was on its way up the M11 to pick the car up and return it to HRO, as has been arranged and agreed with HRO and Lamborghini Assistance, when I was contacted by Lamborghini Assistance again to say that the Service Manager Paul King had refused to accept the car back and carry out the repairs for the faults that had arisen with the car whilst in their custody and control, even though the return had been agreed under the warranty at no cost to HRO.
To cut this long story short, after months of phone calls messages and emails since September 2021, Paul King the Service Manager has refused to answer the repeated emails and questions that have been raised, nor given any satisfactory explanation for their disgraceful customer service, whereby the most recent email consists of no more than a couple of paragraphs, after Paul King has re-stated that they as HRO are under no obligation or legal responsibility to take my car back under the Lamborghini Warranty, nor carry out the repairs that have appeared whilst the car was in their custody and control, and with the Air Con fault having remained present after they had promised and confirmed its repair, after having delivered it back with the fault present after they had carried out an annual service, and supposedly re checked and inspected everything prior to eventual repatriation again in September 2021.
The HRO Lamborghini set up is an absolute disgrace, and from another bad experience that I had with the service operation in School Lane, their standard of service with Bentley is no better.
You will be forced to escalate matters to the Manufacturers, and the Courts.
They are a shambles and a total disgrace.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Be aware of HR Owen- who suppose to be…

Be aware of HR Owen- who suppose to be posh car dealers who deal with posh cars.
The company Secretary in SW7 3RP and the Manager at 5-9 School Road, NW10 are Crooks, theives and very Gready.

I took my car which was under warranty after HR Owen in School Road, NW10 confirm that they would not charge for break flued.
They took my car inside their Garage and did not allow me to look at what they were doing. After about 3 hours of waiting, they falsely alleged that they Serviced the my car and they gave me a Bill of £250.00 when I disputed their bill as they never informed me, or took my permission, in fact, they did not even Service the Car at all, their allegation was false in order to charge me. They alleged that I signed a Job Card which stated the payment, I asked them that they did not give me a copy of the job card and that there were no Terms at the back of the Job card, they said that the job card is for the use of the internal office and not to give to the customers.

Their allegation was not true, in fact, they were ripping off the customers, who most of the rich and do not bring the car by themselves and do not watch what the garage is doing.

HR Owen are thieves targetting the rich people and the people who HR Owen thinks are Naive. I refused to pay them. I asked them to send show me the Job card, they refused, after a few days and before I went to court, they send me a copy, in which they tampered with the copy by editing the first page. The second page also was a copy they created which they copied from the back of an invoice, Imagine how low level the staff of this company are, how crooks and very low class. On the 2nd page, they inserted the Terms of Business which they copied from an Invoice. I later made an investigation through their sister company in Kentish Town, I found out that the page which is at the back of the Job card is empty, which is supposed to be for the notes of the Technical Report and Drawing about what is the wrong of the car.

They kept my car with them for over a month because I refused to pay them. I took them to court, for a small claim which cost me about £3,000.00 their Manager Potros who is a creak and the company secretary as well as the technician, all attended court to deceive the Judge, they were successful to deceive and confuse the Judge as they did not bring with them the Original Copy of the Job Card.

I did not have the original copy of the Job Card. Their Creak Manager is the very dodgy man and crook in fact all of them include the technician. They refused to show me the Original Copy of the Job Card.. as they destroyed it, in fact, they even refused to show me the original form of Job card even when it is empty.. moreover, as they were well aware that I was searching for the original copy of the Job Card, they stopped any customer to copy or sees, any job cards all this has been done because of me and my case until after 4 years I managed to send a friend to check her car, and she asked for the Job card and after she paid them for the check of her car, the worker, gave her a copy of the Job Card which was as the original and as I expected, it did not contain any Terms of Business or payment, instead, that page to be filled by the Technichan.
get a Job card, which was proved that at the back of the Job Card there were no Terms of Business instead there was an Empty page to write the report for the technician.

All the Staff including the company secretary who is in Kensignton are crooks and dodgy, they cheated me for the sum of £250.00 unfortunately when I returned to court, it was a time limit barred which I could not carry on with my case.

I Paid £200,000 for a 488 spyder in Oct 2021.

In Nov 2021. After 5 weeks. I returned it asking them to fix 12 major issues with the car.

They refused.

its Dec 2021. And they still have the car. 4 weeks sitting in their repair shop.

They don't return my calls.

My lawyer says send the car back to them.

Their own customer service confirmed the 12 points. Plus they found 3 more points wrong.

But their expert engineer lied and said they found nothing.

THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE.

NEVER BUY FROM THEM.

Ferraris are beautiful to look at and very bad to drive.

The engineering on them is less reliable than a Lada from Russia.

THEY ARE EXCELLENT AT MARKETING.

DISAPPOINTED - GO ELSEWHERE.

Contacted Sales about Bentley Bentayga advertised on their website. Wanted to p/ex Continental GT and Rangerover Evoke. Was offerred £20k for my Continental GT less than one advertised on their website and £5k for the Evoke. Sales rep mentioned that their car was OVER priced. Came back with revised figs., (Did not inc Red Calipers) but then mentioned there was another customer coming to see the car the following day. I have no confidence in their pricing and cannot trust Sales. Was VERY close to a deal but decided to go elsewhere. Have been treated with respect when purchasing Bentleys, Mercedes dealers.

Service centres : Ferrari and Bentley

Been taking a Ferrari and a Bentley for service to HR Owen for the last few years. Happy to confirm that their service department have always performed well and much better than expected. Unlike some known Porsche service centres that love to suggest extra work that is not needed, HRO have always been very honest.

Spen £160k receive poor customer service

I bought a Ferrari 488 GTB from the Mayfair store.

We had to meet the sales chap in an industrial estate away from Mayfair even though our hotel was on Park Lane (just a few mins walk)

I had travelled some 2+ hours in almost 30 C heat. Spent a little over 2 hours with the sales chap in a couple of different buildings the latter being a great building and actually put HR Owen to shame in terms of appearence and presentation.

From the moment we arrived to the point of leaving we were NOT offered a single drink, not even a glass of water!! Given the heatwave, my travelling, the duration spent at this industrial site you would have thought common courtesy would prevail.

I have had a much much better hand over of vehicles from the likes of VW, Ford etc.

This is the kind of customer service you would NOT expect when spending almost £160k on a car!

The sales chap was nice and polite but let HR Owen down some what with the above lack of actions.

My advise, use a different dealer for your car purchase.

I bought a 2010 Bentley GTC from Bentley Surrey

Great sales process , great deal and outstanding vehicle

We had an issue with the air suspension around the 70k miles which I’m told is a common Problem with the GTC

What wasn’t common was the service , the guys arranged to pick up the GTC ( and I was in wales on business ) deliver me a 3ltr Audi A6 sline and the guys liaised direct with the warranty company including taking payment direct from them

Truly outstanding
