Recently purchased a Maserati Grecale Trofeo from HR Owen in Hatfield. The salesman Emad was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable. At handover time, Emad sportingly agreed to go along with what proved to be a memorable family occasion.

Exceptional Experience
Start to finish brilliant. Called up on Tuesday lunchtime for a car which they agreed a price on, there and then. Deposit paid, car was secured. Same day, finance was all sorted thanks to Ian who worked after hours to send documents across to sign which was very much appreciated seen as I requested for the car to be ready for Friday.
On arrival, I was offered to be picked up from Cheltenham Spa station which was appreciated highly, weather was really hot and the cooled seats in the Bentley Bentayga were great, that’s right, they picked me up in a Bentley! If that wasn’t enough, unlike most dealers/traders, who have the car sat in reserve, they had the car full tanked for me to head back to Manchester which was a very kind gesture and which I am highly thankful for!
Was shown around the showroom and had a lovely chat with Will who was the main contact I was communicating with throughout, great chap and would love to cross paths with some time in the future. Thanks to everyone at H R Owen Bentley (Cheltenham) was a pleasure purchasing my car, hopefully won’t be the last.

Good reliable service. Ralph went above and beyond to assist with a last minute service of our Maserati.
They did try to charge for extras but ultimately it is your choice whether you agree to it.
Overall a satisfied customer and will definitely be returning to use their services again.
Mixed feelings due to lack of transparency & bad errors.
We have mixed feelings about taking our car here for service for first time. We knew they were more expensive than the competitors but they said drop car Monday and it should be ready to collect Tuesday afternoon..depending on ‘the list’ of what needs doing. We had literally done less that 1000 miles in a year so thought the price quoted should be what it is… although the forum warned anyone that the cost will rack up.
We were give a long advisory list and then told to look back at when it was done last ( this indicated the work didn’t need doing probably), we looked at the service record and reduce list and to a couple of Essential service items such as replace air filters and gearbox oil but we thought these would have been part of major service??
We picked up the car eventually Friday, paid £1k more than quoted but £250 less that someone had warned us it may cost, as the service team are there to make money. How they can quote you for service and not tell you the ‘oil’ cost an extra £612 on top is crazy??
All I would say is if you don’t have an abundant bank balance (like those who car there were worth £3 -4M) then please check what IS & NOT included in a service before leaving vehicle. We would be very careful before returning for sure.
We still have no idea why it took 4 days so be prepared to be without the car for a while or book months in advance to secure loan car!

So having has the AA replace our battery For a new 5 year warranty Bosch battery, the AA explained when HR Owen serviced the car recently they left a critical cable off the battery pack that could have ruined the boot interior by leaking battery acid everywhere! To pay over £3k for a service when they had the car 4 days and find out this is an absolute disgrace!

Shocking service gave my car in for a service and highlighted some issues they didn't fix them and lied then questioned about it and service advisor was rude and told me they missed it and then changed there story 3 times in a 10 minute conversation avoid them and spend your money elsewhere

Maserati went in for a service, 21,000 miles told need new discs and pads front and rear, plus other works total close to 5K, I'm a qualified mechanic, when challenged on the works they backed off. Over charging for non essential work is wrong on every level.

I paid them a deposit 2 years ago they just said either pay it or take the money we have been using interest free back. terrible terrible terrible. how arrogant and rude..
HR Owen Insurance took my loyalty for granted
I was a loyal Bentley customer, having purchased multiple cars from HR Owen. But insurance broker Matthew Robinson seems to have assumed this meant he didn't need to work hard for my business.
He charged excessive premiums without explanation, knowing I had bought another Bentley. It was as if he thought a big spender wouldn't care about wasting money.
Robinson dragged his feet finding better prices despite my requests. He retained full broker fees after cancellation, claiming policy details were unavailable - highly dubious.
I easily found a much cheaper insurer myself in the end. This showed Robinson's complacency and lack of proactiveness. Don't take loyal customers for granted - you'll lose us!

Similar story to some of the below. Bought a brand new 1/4 mil vehicle, had a fault. Had to negotiate for the transportation, for a fault which had nothing to do with me. They've had the car for nearly 2 months and no progress. They're a joke.
