I applied for enhanced dbs
I applied for enhanced dbs. Paid £50+ extra but received a basic one. They then tried to tell me they only do basic dbs. So why the website says enhanced application. I would find another website to use as these are rip off. Any good write ups are fake

I feel i have been taken advantage of…
I feel i have been taken advantage of and paid much too much. I had a DBS certificate from last year and there seems no to be no official history of my being tested.

It’s a rip off
Just applied and paid £102.50. Yet I could not upload my documents because the website could not recognise my application number. But I applied on Gov.uk for £12.50 and I was able to complete my application.
Why £102.50 for £12.50 service. It’s a sub continent style rip off.

Avoid and go to Gov website
I havent yet received my DBS yet, but do not believe the positive reviews (likely fake), I shocked to find out i wasn't on the government website and have paid far to much for a ehanced DBS paying £90.99 when its £21.50 on the Gov website. I have been told ill also be paying £6.99 per month. I have read other reviews and only a basic was sent when enhanced was paid for and their response is they only do basic when i emailed them. I have requested a refund, which they will not authorise. Wish me luck claiming through my credit card. Avoid and vist the actually government website, ignore their responses to negative reviews as you reach out and they are completely dismissive.

They’ve charged me £84 for a basic DBS…
They’ve charged me £84 for a basic DBS check. I start work in a school in a few weeks and private tutoring. I needed an enhanced check!!! That’s what I requested. They did a basic one (which are £18) which us useless to me…. Ripped me off £84 and now I can’t get hold of anyone to get my money back. And now my real DBS check might not be ready in time for when I need to start work!!!!!! FUMING

I opened and paid £109 for a Enhanced DBS but I got a standard one instead when I tried to cancel or upgrade the jobs worth couldn’t help me,didn’t want to know…🤷🏼♂️…
