Awful experience with this scam company

£39 for a poor quality dress which I wanted to return as it arrived too late and did not fit. Offered me another size if I paid for postage £7.95 but if I wanted to return the item it wound cost around £30
Do not touch this company! I should have checked the reviews before ordering

Both Lisa and Jenny in customer service went out of their way to assist me.
I must say they replied within a couple of hours and this may have been time zone.

Be mindful of the returns policy. They do not offer a free returns policy.
They have one warehouse worldwide.
The cost to return a package to Asia (their warehouse) will be around 30 GBP.

It's a scammer company, based in Asia, nothing to do with the Netherlands.
They will send different item to you and when you ask for refund, you have to send item back on your cost, around £30.
No paypal protection either.
Pay attention to reviews and avoid them like plague

I would strongly advise people not to use this website. The products they advertise are not the products they actually send. This is false advertising and is extremely misleading.

They are taking customers' money while knowing exactly what they're doing. People purchase in good faith, expecting to receive the items shown, only to be disappointed when something completely different arrives. It's a shameful way to treat customers.

Thankfully, I paid using PayPal, and after raising a dispute, I received a full refund. If you're considering buying from this site, I'd recommend looking elsewhere and, if you do choose to order, make sure you use a payment method that offers buyer protection.

If they was a zero mark I would give this back of the door shop. Stay away. It's almost three weeks since I bought a dress from them and hasn't got a delivery date yet

Avoid - this is scam. As others have said, they ship from China, products don’t work and then they tell you to return at your own cost and risk.

Our light fitting started smoking as soon as it turned on, as well not being straight.

They offered us a 30% refund despite the product being a clear safety risk.

Do not use this company.

Hominthory are definitely NOT a Dutch company.
I have now learned, to my cost, it is a cheap Asian set up who provide sub standard items.
So far, I have not received a refund for my dress.
They say that if I did not receive my parce, I should take it up with the courier!!!!!
I have said that my statutory rights are still in effect, I want a refund for an item I have not, to date, received.
Bearing in my I ordered it over 2weeks ago.
I have asked them for photographic proof of where my order has been delivered AND to verify the address it was sent to.

DO NOT, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COWBOY SET UP.

Terrible quality! Defective item and refused warranty claim.Review:I strongly warn everyone against buying from this store. I bought a suit for my son's prom well in advance. On the day of the event, during the very first wear, the trousers ripped along the inner seam. This is clearly a manufacturing defect and extremely poor material quality. The store rejected my complaint, unlawfully hiding behind their 30-day return policy. They deliberately confuse a standard return with a warranty claim for hidden defects. Customer service shows zero willingness to solve the issue. I am now filing a Chargeback case with my bank. Avoid this shop at all costs!

you have to return items to asia at your expense, typically £30 by their own estimate.
They do not mention this in the T&Cs or their returns policy, they did offer a 10% refund

Dodgy site. Cancelled after reading reviews on here, luckily used papypal so me refund was issued immediately. Had (up to now) 2 threatening emails asking me to cancel my dispute with papal. Ignored. Just don't use them.

Based in Asia - refund postage shown as £30 - offered to send replacement free of charge except for £7.95 shipping charge Item sent far too large , despite following instructions re sizing . It does not deserve one star

The worst quality clothing I have ever bought, not as advertised on website. Do not waste your money on any items from this site.

Please avoid at all costs. Clothes are nothing like what is advertised - made out of very cheap materials, looking like school play home made costumes gone badly wrong. Absolute missrepresentation, their advertising should not be allowed, it is nothing short of a con.

Bought shoes off of a facebook advert. Shoes were supposed to be genuine leather uppers. They arrived 2 weeks later. Cheap fully synthetic shoes and sized wrongly so they didn't fit. I would probably need two sizes bigger. No returns included and can only be returned to Asia at buyers own cost.
Which is more than the cost of the shoes. I was offered a bigger pair at additional cost and offered to keep the originals. The originals are of no use to me and I have little faith in what size to order that might fit properly. Cheap and nasty shoe not worth any furrher expense.

Urgent! Avoid this website! I think it may be a scam. They sent me the wrong lamp twice and are insisting I send them a photo of the two lamps together in order to get my refund. They said I could keep the first lamp but I discovered later that it was broken as well as the wrong lamp so I threw it away. Their delivery company do not have accurate delivery information and they think I've sent photos of the same lamp twice. They now think I am scamming them despite providing huge amounts of evidence to the contrary. Bizarre email communication with Lisa in customer services who doesn't read anything I send to her and keeps coming back with the same robotic response. A truly disturbing experience and I still haven't been refunded for the lamp that I originally ordered and never arrived. Avoid at all costs
