Little Details Count!
I bought this champagne as a Christmas Gift for a family member. I did my research and chose it very carefully. I was disappointed that it did not arrive in a presentation box that I could gift wrap. It only needed to be a cardboard box, I paid £13 for a beautiful wooden box which I would have been happy to have bought from your company with your logo on it. I was also disappointed that there was no information included about your vineyard and specifically this particular bottle of Champagne. I have found and printed this info. from the internet and placed it in the box with the champagne.

Firstly let me thank you wholeheartedly for choosing hometipple. It means so much to have your support given we are a young, independent company trying to establish ourselves against a market full of very large players with very deep pockets.
I'm sorry you were disappointed not to receive a presentation box with your wine. In almost all cases, presentation boxes are the reserve of very large producers, or the ‘Gran Marques’ as they're know in Champagne. These boxes are expensive to produce and generally for the benefit of large retailers like supermarkets and department stores.
Levasseur is a very small Champagne grower-producer. Unlike the Grand Marques, Davide Levasseur grows his own grapes from his own small vineyard and vinifies his own wine in his own winery. Quality is therefore paramount and an almost obsessional focus. A small, artisanal producer like Davide simply doesn't have the financial clout or inclination to cover the significant expense of presentation boxes.
While we appreciate the importance of gifting and presentation packaging, unfortunately we are not quite able to offer our own just yet. As mentioned, hometipple is a very young company and this is our first Christmas trading (though myself and the team have been in the industry a long time). While I completely agree a hometipple branded presentation box would be excellent, and we hope to be able to offer these next Christmas, we feel it prudent to concentrate on our core business for a little while longer before investing in items such as these.
Regarding information about the product and producer, because transporting alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks can be quite a carbon heavy process, we do everything we can to be sustainable; our packaging is over 60% recycled; our packaging is 100% recyclable; we use DPD who are market leaders in striving for net-zero emissions; we offset hometipple's carbon footprint through the Carbon Neutral Britain scheme. With this in mind, we hope you agree that adding additional paper inserts into our packages goes against our aspirations of genuine sustainability, especially when we’ve already provided a great deal of product and producer information on our website.
We sincerely hope you come back to hometipple again soon. We know we aren’t perfect, but we’re working our socks off to be as good as we can be.

A wonderful surprise gift
We received 2 bottles of wine as a gift from a friend, she told us she had ordered us a gift and the wine was delivered a couple of days later, it was packaged well and thoroughly enjoyed. Second to None
A good friend gifted me a couple of bottles of Malbec so can't comment on the price, however, beautiful wine, exceptional quality and jam packed with flavour. I'll make sure I purchase from here in the future.
