Ordered a $6k Garmin Multidisplay. Works great, shipped fast - would highly recommend these guys if your wondering if they are legit. They are.

I have only order a couple items but each were delivered in a couple days. Great service and pricing.

Absolutely horrific return policies the most expensive shipping charges in the industry and inaccurate shopping links make for a recipe for disaster

Hodges Marine is still a 5-star rating in my book and I have purchased so many items from them in the last 12 years. Having said that, their business model has changed. Hodges Marine no longer offer the best price - which is something they used to be known for. They are now right in the middle of the pack with regard to price.

Cancelled my last 4 orders, when I called they had no reason and put me on hold indefinitely.

Great experience with a "shi**y situation. The macerator pump on the sewage system of our motorhome died. As it was 12 years old the model is no longer made and parts are hard to come by.

A Google search showed Hodges had the best price going. I could have purchased on Amazon and had it in two days for $100 more, but no need. I was going to have to hook up the gravity dump anyway so a few extra days didn't make a difference.

As promised it shipped the day of the order but snow in New Jersey slowed it down a little.

Excellent product at a fair price with free shipping. What else can you ask for.

UPS switched up my delivery. After contacting Hodge Marine, they promptly contacted UPS, found where two packages were switched on a UPS loading dock and quickly sent me another unit. The UPS issue was resolved in less than 24 hours.

Sometime back, so long ago now I don't even remember the situation I wrote them a bad review. Yesterday I placed an order and got an order cancelation email with no explanation this morning. When I called them they said they cancelled the order because i wrote them a bad review in the past. So in other words rather than improving their service when they mess up they just blacklist you!

I have bought several products from Hodges since I gave them 5 stars in 2020, and am surprised to see several negative reviews

As a tax exempt business, I requested to be refunded the sales tax that I was charged. The response from Hodges Marine was "Sales tax is not a line item we can refund separately, you will need to call us to place a new order without sales tax, and get a refund for this order." I have no need for any additional items. This is ridiculous that they won't refund the sales tax on this order without purchasing something else.

After a total of 7K shopping in 2 months. Mounting Bracket of Furuno1971F Fish Finder was not in the box. They do not reply to my last emails. They delete my reviews after approval. I cannot use 1200$ Fish Finder. Bad after sales service.

No customer appreciation or service. Beware of seller and buy from someone who cares more about the customer than the dollar. Buyers beware!

Ordered a Raymarine R28710 replacement masthead wind unit which was delivered when they said and was in perfect condition.

Customer service was very good. They shipped me a replacement item via two-day after I had received my order and it had had the wrong item inside the correctly marked box (i.e., I don't think that was their fault. It was probably their supplier's fault)

I ordered a wiper motor from Hodges. It was delivered very quickly however the motor only lasted 1 week and completely burned out. I called Hodges and they simply gave me the number for Marinco and told me to deal with them. After much deliberation, Marinco reluctantly replaced the unit but said they would not warranty the replacement because they said I used it in the wrong application (I replaced exactly what the boat builder initially used). They told me to use a different model. I asked Hodges to exchange the unit for the model Marinco recommended and I would pay any difference. Their response was to "sell it on-line and purchase the correct model". I'm not angry as I fully anticipated this result. It's just disappointing to find that in a time of need, Hodges customer service falls far short of the norm.

Hodges Marine may be less expensive than other competitors for some items. However if you experience an issue you will definitely regret purchasing anything from these a ss clowns. In my case, new only meant new until a component in a trim tab kit was defective per Bennett Marine Tech. At that point, Hodges was no longer interested in me as a customer and left me to deal with the inconvenience and all costs associated with the warranty process through the manufacturer.
My experience is a common theme with Hodges Marine as is clearly documented by dozens of buyers per their internet reviews and the BBB. As I and others have also adversely experienced. Hodges website frequently contains misinformation regarding the products they sell. In my case, a trim tab control switch that Hodges website linked to the trim tab kit (listed as frequently purchased together) Was not in any manner compatible with the trim tab kit they linked it to. As I painfully discovered when the system failed to operate after installing and Bennett Tech Support informed me of that fact.

I was relying on Hodges Marine to ship me a part for a job. A week after it was ordered, I am still chasing them about it even being dispatched (which the website suggests was in stock & same day). Apparently for international orders this is because they had to ship the item from one US warehouse to another in order to then ship internationally (?!). They are now saying it won't arrive for 3 weeks after I ordered it at best - when the delivery time was 2 weeks - because they lost the item. And to top it off, they have refused to ship it using expedited shipping despite the delay being their fault. I am now going to have to cancel my job.

Hodges does not stand behind the products they sale. They point the finger elsewhere when there is a problem. I purchased a transducer from them that broke after the first trip out. The product was professionally installed at a dealer. Once they get your money they could careless if you have issues. They are quick to tell you they sell 3rd party insurance (that is useless) but that is there answer. I would buy elsewhere if I were you and pick a company that has good customer service.
