Lynda and Daniel and the gentleman who let us in made us feel comfortable within minutes of entering the store. Offering a drink on arrival and being seated with Lynda to pick our wedding rings. Such down to earth staff. Then whilst picking our rings we were offered prosecco. We felt very looked after, welcomed and listened to and we bought our rings. Lynda is such a lovely person and a pleasure to deal with x Mick and Angie

Excellent experience throughout the whole process of our purchase . Paul , from the Sheffield branch of HL Browns who dealt with us personally , was extremely knowledgable and made us feel very special .

Purchased my first Rolex today with Paul and it was an absolute pleasure! Very welcoming and very informative I hope to be back in store one day in the not so distant future! My prior dealings with Teresa and Mel have also been equally a pleasure! Thank you.

Our family has been visiting HL Brown for fifty years.Always wonderful and courteous customer service and the work continues to be of a high standard. You can be assured HL Brown will take care of your most sentimental pieces within their onsite repairs service thankfully and the selection of items to purchase continue to be of a high quality which will last for years to come.

It’s all change and we will miss the H.L. Brown brand as like Cole Brothers, it was an integral part of the Sheffield High Street.

It can be hard to find businesses that provide customers with excellent customer service, but the team at H L Brown did just that today. I purchased my first mechanical watch from another retailer online, but due to my inexperience I lost a crucial component while adjusting the bracelet to fit me. I took my new watch to a number of jewellers in Sheffield but nobody was able to help me, and in general were quite rude, patronising, and dismissive of me on account of the fact that I'd tried to adjust the watch myself.

My experience at H L Brown couldn't have been more different. The team were impeccably kind and polite throughout, and never once made me feel stupid for my error. A specialist took a look at my watch and I was offered a cup of tea while he did so. He was instantly able to identify the problem and the parts he'd need to fix it, ordering them directly from the manufacturer on my behalf. He has charged me only for the parts themselves; the delivery and fitting H L Brown will cover for me!

I look forward to visiting again in a couple of weeks when the parts arrive from the manufacturer. This is a fantastic demonstration of how truly excellent service wins repeat custom. After my experience today I will consider H L Brown to be me and my family's jeweller of choice, and I will have absolutely no hesistation in recommending them to my friends.

I took my gold Rolex in to be serviced and it was returned to me with a refusal, the face of the watch I had wanted changed to the original one , which had been replaced with a different one the week that I bought it, what was returned to me was not the watch face I had left witBrowns, it had been replaced with an old scratched face which was warped. They professed to know nothing about it. Someone had swapped my new one for an old one.

Having made an expensive purchase from HL Browns, I would highly recommend using them. The process from start to finish has been excellent. I was made to feel welcome and valued. I was looked after by Teresa and Lewis and could not fault their professionalism. I would definitely use again in the future.

Over the years I’ve purchased many items from HL Brown and now I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Respectful, nice, polite, knowledgeable this store, and its people are second to none. The fact it’s an old Sheffield business, that’s been there for over a 150 years, only adds to its appeal to me. Thank you HLB.

I recently had a wonderful experience at H.L. Brown in Sheffield while purchasing a Rolex Datejust 41 for my wife. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional and the whole experience felt very welcoming and professional.

Lewis was fantastic throughout the visit – very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the brand. The store manager Teresa was also incredibly kind and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

It was great to learn more about the Rolex journey and to purchase such a special timepiece from a family-run business with such a long heritage. The attention to detail and customer care really stood out.

What a great experience from start to finish buying a preloved item online. Such helpful honest staff (I had initial questions) and then my dealings with Daniel, who went above and beyond helping me to buy the item I had fallen in love with, were exceptional. To be honest the photos didn't do it justice, it was 10 times better. Arrived next day, beautifully presented and well packed. Just so thrilled and I felt confident parting with rather a lot of money for an item I hadn't seen in person. Great company!

Daniel was proactive and communicative. The watch strap needed replacing, which he ordered and sent complete package. Due to waiting for a strap to arrive, the shipping took a little longer than expected but he kept me updated along the way.

I recently purchased a beautiful timepiece for my partner for christmas and birthday from H.L.Brown and I want to express my gratitude to Paul, who is a true gent and brilliant to deal with. He respresented both the Rolex brand and H.L.Brown fantastically and is a credit to both. The service i received was top tier, very professional throughout and i will most certainly be back to purchase here again and have no reservations of recommending the company to others.
