Offers don't add up.
Would have given 5 stars. They got my email details with a 5% offer, but the offer didn't add onto a better one of 8% they already had. It also took me under the free postage so was worthless anyway.
Other than that all good thanks.

You're absolutely right – offers don’t stack. We regularly run monthly sales on specific ranges or sitewide, and these are often better than the standard 5% discount. The 5% code is there to be used any time when sales aren’t running, so it’s a handy fallback that never expires.
While it might not have applied in this case, it’s still a useful perk to have, and we’d hope it’s seen as a bonus rather than a drawback. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon – and next time, with a discount that suits your basket better!

Awagami paper is wonderful but the postal packaging isn't.
Awagami paper is immaculate and I'm grateful to have been able to get hold of some through Hickman Design when it seemed to be out of stock everywhere else. The company were attentive and replied to my enquiry really quickly. I hate giving negative feedback but because the paper was in a standard cardboard envelope, the delivery person decided to bend it to get it through my letter box and consequently, every page was buckled which was disapointing : (

We’re really glad we could help you get hold of it when it was hard to find elsewhere, and it’s great to hear our team were responsive. That said, we're genuinely sorry to hear the paper was damaged in transit — it's incredibly frustrating for us too when Royal Mail mishandles a package, especially with such delicate materials.
Had we known, we would have been more than happy to replace the item straight away. We’d still be glad to do so — once we have fresh stock, please email us at info@hickmandesign.co.uk with your order details and any photos of the damage. We insure our deliveries so we can claim for incidents like this and get a new set sent out to you as soon as possible.

Bought a set of inks and the process was very smooth and easy. I didn’t get a notification of dispatch it when questioned they replied very quickly and was given the tracking number. The parcel turned up later that day.
