Amr Atef was so helpful - as have all members of the team who I've dealt with at Hexclad.
Ive had a few hexclad frying pans, small, medium and large and haven't quite found how to keep them none stick which has been frustrating.
Support shared some tips with me:
Prep: Place your clean cookware on the stove.
Oil: Add a high-smoke point oil (we recommend avocado oil for best results). Avoid low-smoke-point oils, as they burn easily and create a sticky layer.
Heat: Set your stovetop to low-medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
Coat: Once the pan is hot, carefully swirl the oil to fully cover the surface.
Cool: Let the pan cool down naturally and wipe off any excess oil.
3. Preventing Future Sticking
Heat Management: HexClad is highly efficient. You typically only need low to medium settings. High heat causes oil to carbonize, leading to the "burnt residue" you're seeing now.

Im looking forward to getting my replacement pans (2) and ill be trying the steps mentioned.
The life time warranty has been a god send, I appreciate the easy at which this process works...i just wish yhe pans would be non stick always...i will need to be careful with these next 2.

Misleading “Non‑Toxic” Claims
Misleading “Non‑Toxic” Claims, Censorship in Their Facebook Group, and Zero Accountability
I purchased HexClad cookware specifically because the company marketed it as “non‑toxic” and implied it was free from harmful PFAS chemicals. Only later did I learn that the cookware I bought does contain PTFE, the same fluoropolymer used in Teflon — a fact that directly contradicts the safety claims that influenced my purchase.
This isn’t just my interpretation. HexClad recently settled a $2.5 million class‑action lawsuit over misleading “PFAS‑free” advertising. That alone should have prompted the company to be transparent with customers, but instead it feels like they’re trying to bury the issue.
When I attempted to ask other customers about their experiences in HexClad’s official Facebook group, my posts were repeatedly denied by the admin. No explanation, no support, no acknowledgment — just silence. The fact that they won’t even allow polite questions about chemical safety or returns is a huge red flag and only reinforces the sense that the company is actively trying to suppress legitimate concerns.
For a brand that built its reputation on “honesty,” “innovation,” and “premium quality,” this experience has been incredibly disappointing. Between the misleading marketing, the lawsuit, the lack of transparency, and the censorship in their own community, I can’t recommend HexClad to anyone who cares about truthful product claims or customer support.
I’ve reached out to HexClad directly requesting a return based on the deceptive advertising. I hope they choose to do the right thing, but so far the experience has not inspired confidence.

Lifetime warranty is worthless. Be warned.
Bought a pan. Pan coating has flaked off. Hexclad agree it has a manufacturing defect. Hexclad refuse to honour the “lifetime warranty” because I bought it from Amazon. Silly me! Naughty Hexclad!
Update in response to Hexclad 08/07/26. Make your own mind up. I quote from Hexclad Customer Support: "While your order was indeed sold by Amazon EU S.à r.l., UK Branch, please note that purchasing directly from Amazon does not automatically mean the purchase was made from HexClad. For warranty claims to be processed by us, the item must be purchased from our authorized Amazon account, Brand Access LLC. Since this order was not placed through our authorized seller account, we unfortunately cannot process the warranty claim directly."

Excellent product and customer service
The pans have been excellent for years, one has slight chipping developing on the side and with the lifetime warranty they have just replaced this in a quick, easy, efficient and friendly process. Very impressed by the customer service and the product, would highly recommend!

Outstanding products and truly exceptional customer service.
I own the full HexClad set, and every single piece has been absolutely faultless. The quality is genuinely top-tier, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into the design and performance of their cookware.
I did have a minor issue with one saucepan after a couple of years of use, but this is where HexClad really stood out. I contacted their team, shared a photo and a short video, and they handled it immediately. No hassle, no pushback " they arranged a replacement within 3–5 days and didn’t even ask for the original item back.
That level of service is rare. It turned what could have been a negative experience into a completely positive one.
This was clearly a one-off, and the way they dealt with it just reinforced my confidence in the brand. 10 out of 10 " a great product backed by a great company.

I reached out to Hexclad's customer support for a warranty replacement of my hybrid 14"pan. When I reached out to Hexclad, Mikhael was the person who handled my issue. I can't believe how responsive he was! This day and age its unheard of. I am so appreciative of his timely response, professionalism and dedication to amazing customer service!
