Friendly Staff
The staff are so friendly, any time I have a query or question they are able to answer my questions and provide support. Going on a weight loss journey can be a bit of an embarrassing thing, that other doctors usually don’t have the empathy to deal with, but I’ve never felt embarrassed once on my Juniper journey. The app is super handy as well, and runs super well!

I’ve been frustrated by menopausal weight I can’t lose, but My Juniper has been supportive and behind me all the way; providing me all the encouragement and holistic advice I’ve been missing. It really is about health and wellbeing beyond weight loss.

The best decision I ever made
The best decision I ever made.
I couldn’t have done it without Juniper. I lost the 12kg I aimed for, and have been able to maintain my weight since reducing my dose.

Predatory and incompetent
I have had one of the most stressful experiences using Juniper. I was subscribed for less than a week but I had nothing but escalating problems... from a faulty pen to having my plan changed without consent and billing issues.
Their service model is predatory and the customer service is non-existent when a real issue involving their subscriptions happens.
My first needle was defective. Upon reporting this, their care team got back to me quickly. I took several photos of the pen and explained exactly how it failed.
A new prescription was made and I was told that absolutely nothing in my plan would change. That was a lie.
I noticed hours after the new pen arrived that I was changed to monthly without consent which is a higher cost per month.
A male doctor, who I had no contact with, did the new prescription and changed my plan without consent after the nurses on the phone reassured me that my plan would be exactly the same.
I immediately emailed upon realising.
Nothing.
I then used their horrific AI chat bot.
Nothing.
I tried cancelling the service and went through several pages of rejecting offers (these included free dietitian advice amoung others.)
THEN, it says someone would get back in contact within 4 hours instead of letting me cancel. No one did.
I tried their live service chat and it failed on several occasions whenever I was told someone would look into it. Messages would disappear and there was an error. I have multiple screen shots of these errors. This happened several times on two different devices.
When I finally got in contact with a real person at 7PM I was told to "email them instead of using their service chat." Which I already did, several hours before but he couldn't find the record. He proceeded to try and tell me that my prescription changing was a normal experience but understood I was upset.
I was extremely distressed by this point and had lost all faith in the service.
I was thankfully given a full refund.
They said I could keep the new pen as a good will but I have 0 interest and will dispose of it at a pharmacy in the morning. I offered to return it as I have no interest or faith left.
The person kept trying to convince me to give them another chance... after faultly product then putting me on a higher cost per month plan whilst telling me the plan would be the same.
Don't use this horrific service.
I'd rather be fat than a fraud like them.

Edit: One of Junipers customer service representatives, Chris, got back to me by saying the person on the phone intact didn't lie... my medical plan was the same just the billing was changed whilst also saying only I could change the billing.
Idiots.

Highly recommend this program
Support has been A1. Assistant or follow up to any challenges has been quick and efficient. I’ve had a few hiccups but the response has been great. The online check in with my health coach has been helpful and very supportive. I’m feeling confident in achieving and maintaining my goals. My health mindset is positive. This medication has been literally life changing and I appreciate what Juniper has given me.

I’ve found the company to be…
I’ve found the company to be accomodating with alternative requirements, albeit a little slow to respond.
Then when l missed out on my Care coaching at the beginning, l was looked after by receiving two weeks coaching by a lovely coach. She was caring, competent & thorough. I actually felt someone cared.
Going from receiving messages from random people daily to the one regular, made a huge positive difference.
I genuinely thank her/ Celine.
