Disneyplus is a scam

I bought a 3 month subscription giftcard in local store, went on Disneyplus.epay site, entered required data and ...no go. Contacted customer service, they blaim it on Epay and tell me to contact them. I do that and get re-directed back to Disney support. Contact them again and again it is a problem on Epay´side. I have explained support employee several times that I have already done that. No help. I how can I contact someone who could actually help me. Employee gives me two e-mails: first-no reply after 3 days and counting, second (right one as confirmed by third employee)-my mail gets blocked. A Catch 22: adress that could help me is blocking my mail.

I call Epay second time, again they can not help me and re-direct me back to Disney support. This time I call, explain my issue for the x-time, again it is Epay. I ask Disney employee who am I suppose to contact at Epay. Got a telephone number, called it and wouldn´t you know it is an unknown number.

I call Disney again and this time I got Miss Eleni. She is what customer support is supposed to be. Professional, helpful and knows what she is doing. If I got her first time I contacted Disney I would rate it with 5 stars. Just because of her I was considering giving it 2 stars.

Just to show how little Disney cares about it customers, my issue, according to support employee, happens quite often. I believe that because when I called Epay, both employees knew Disney support email and telephone number from memory.

At first I just wanted to get a refund, because I refuse to support such a incompetent company as Disney is. But I decided I would rather have my 3 month subscription, because imagine the trouble getting your money back if it takes almost a week to be able to use service that I already payed for.

To Eleni: Thank you again. To Disney: Great job losing a customer before even becoming one. To other providers: I got money and I am willing to spend it.

I had Disney Plus in spanish so my daughter can pick up both languages and all a sudden it's no longer offered seriously considering cancelling membership. She loved watching Spidey and his amazing friends in Spanish.

Paid for a membership then it kept saying I needed to pay again and couldn’t access my account despite my card charged and the customer service lady was horrible at helping had to demand a refund for a good 20 minutes to get my money back.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless.
Paying all that money and then the website constantly throws errors. It's been like that for over 4 months. Have to refresh page 40-50 times before video loads up. Not worth a penny.

No DisneyPlus Support

DisneyPlus support is practically non-existent. They ask you for details over and over again even when you have already answered them in both the initial phase AND in the chat to them. They don't give you support for your enquiry, they just keep implying they will endeavour to help you, but never answer your actualy question. They even ask how you are billed when the billing is nothing to do with the question, and if you check, it closes the chat window. Disney increased their prices by double, and then decided they didn't need a support team? Do yourself a favour and get onto Plex or similar.

The customer service is awful

The customer service is awful. They do not like to help people. I signed up for the bundle and my mom had an account a year ago that she canceled. But guess what they did. They started splitting. My bill started charging her with no permission. They can't even find her account because she has none. So of course, I had to cancel these sorry a** people.

Disneyplus - ripping off a black customer

I would score Disneyplus TV channel a zero, as 1 star is too generous.
A year ago I phoned DisneyPlus customer services on their london contact number - 020 3936 2903 to cancel my Disneyplus subscription. My service was duly cut.
To my complete shock, horror and dismay I discovered yesterday that, although I had cancelled my Disneyplus subscription a year ago, Disneyplus had nevertheless elected to fraudently deduct a staggering total of £104.88 from my credit card. These monies were unlawfully deducted from May 2023 to March 2024.
I duly contacted Disneyplus Live Chat, which was a complete waste of my time and effort. The operative I spoke to falsely claimed that I had accessed Disneyplus in the last 120 days according to their system. How the hell is one supposed to access a service that was cut as far back as April, 2023? She also wrongly claimed that I had not contacted Disneyplus to cancel my subscription in April of last year. I informed her I have evidence on my mobile phone call log and evidence from my mobile phone company that I made this call to cancel my Disneyplus subscription.
The fault lies squarely with the Disneyplus operative I spoke to as they did not do their job. They cancelled my TV subscription to Disneyplus. They did not cancel my DD, or send me a cancellation email.
Disneyplus are a bunch of crooks. I would warn any parent to most certainly not subscripe to Disneyplus as they will deduct money from your account even after you cancel. They will then swear blind that you did not cancel your subscription. Online reviews reveal this has happened to a lot of Disneyplus viwers. It is a total scam.
This is the disgusting way in which Disneyplus choose to abuse their black customers.
As I am a victim of fraud by Disneyplus, I will now report them to my my bank, MP, my local Trading Standards and Action Fraud.
Needless to say, all Disneyplus need do is admit their mistake and refund my £104.48, which they fraudently dedcuted from my credit card.
No feedback from DisneyPlus. They treat customers, present and past, like dirt. We will never ever take out a DisneyPlus subscription again and I would advise others to avoid giving them tyour banking details like the plague. Even when you end your subscription they will still pursue you for payment. They are a bunch of crooks.

No subtitles

Just signed up but there seem to be no subtitles. Tried contacting the Disneyplus on-line help. No answer - merely linked me to a help service which charges £39 per month! No information under settings about sub-titles for customers with hearing loss. Does Disney not care about people with disabilities?

App on the TV is really really slow. App on the xbox, doesn't work at all. Even if I use microsoft edge to watch it that way, an error messages comes up. Soooo useless and feel robbed.

Constantly replaying back from the start or to an episode youve already seen...for no reason OR simply to show you TWO more adverts despite just seeing an advert but it took you back n to an old episode!

Why can't I just watch the show? There's a commercial every 2 minutes and every time it crashes going to the break. I have to back out and reopen it every time an ad pops up. Takes forever and makes me lose my mind.

Terrible app

The app is awful you just loose the will to live, it keeps crashing doesn’t even remember what you were watching. Total amateur hour amazing for such a large company on the other hand £4.99 a month is cheap suppose you get what you pay for

Such a huge company, such amateur IT

How can such a large company have such appalling customer service and an amateur IT system. The account management is pathetic and I have wasted 2 hours trying to cancel my account for the third time. They just keep helping themselves to my bank account.

Super schnelle Hilfe!!

Super schnelle Hilfe!!! Kein Plan was hier so gemeckert wird. Wahrscheinlich wird eher bei einer negativen Erfahrung geschrieben und bei positiver Erfahrung leider nicht.

Don't pay money for this.

Just doesn't f_c_ing work like a quarter of the time. You click on a title and you get a load screen forever. Then instead of buying me ten minutes it is costing me time trouble shooting. Pain in the ass. Would never ever pay for this service. While I am at it I would never pay for Bell Fibe or Apple T.V. again.....The sh_t just doesn't work. It's broken. I honestly end up switching to Youtube which works fine 99% of the time and is free.
Also proves it is not my connection as Prime and Netflix work fine as well.......so quit charging money for broken sh_t. In fact Disney you can probably just cut Pixar loose and quit altogether at this point. Honestly just use Netflix or Youtube which in my experience don't have issues loading nearly as often. Why is it ok to charge money for products that only work some of the time?

Have the legacy bundle with Disney

Have the legacy bundle with Disney, Hulu and ESPN. On the 15th I was charged $20.52 and I’m being charged another $23 for Hulu. Contacted them and they told me oh others have been saying the same thing has happened to them. Then tried telling me my charge didn’t go through and I was being charged just for Hulu as a stand-alone. No I’m being charged for both. They don’t even have my up to date card information either. I got tired of going back and forth and being told I wasn’t charged when it’s clearly taken out of bank account and I can see it on my account page. I’m done. Immediately cancelled my subscription.
