Hearbase helped when I was almost deaf & NHS has withdrawn its wax removal service. A responsive, professional, personable service.

I was very happy with the service I received from Hearbase.

When phoning for an appointment the reception staff was friendly, empathetic, professional and very accommodating, trying hard and succeeding in finding me an earlier time slot than initially anticipated (in her and the audiologist’s lunch break).

On arrival every attempt was made to comply thoroughly with infection control and social distancing measures and I did not have to wait long until I was asked into the treatment room.

The audiologist was very welcoming and professional. She undertook a comprehensive assessment of the presenting problem and clearly explained the treatment options she worked quickly but thoroughly and hygienically, and engaged in easy conversation. I felt relaxed and my problem was resolved promptly and comprehensively.

In summary: I had a very pleasant and satisfying experience and would wholeheartedly recommend the service.

I phoned Tracy at your Bromley branch and asked for her help. I had a meeting in a few days time and could not hear a thing so the meeting as far as I was concerned was going to be embarrassing and detrimental to my business. Tracy as far as I am concerned went above and beyond and got me booked in as an emergency with the lady at Bromley who attended to my ears and cleared and cleaned them completely. I really mean this the service and standard of care I received that day was superb. I can not remember the ladies name who treated me but please look into this as she was brilliant as well.

This was my first visit to Hearbase. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and my treatment was very straightforward and effective so I would recommend their services.

The lyric in the song by Jimmy Cliff includes the line, "I can see clearly now......."
but I felt like singing "I can hear clearly now the pain has gone..." after leaving Hearbase in Bromley on Thursday 13th August. The humidity during that afternoon was a challenge. There was a warm welcome in a cooler reception area and a clear explanation of the new procedures due to COVID-19. The nurse at the local GP surgery used to treat the problem I have with excessive ear wax so was apprehensive. Reassurance and information was provided as to the treatment. It definitely helped to be able to see a view inside each ear although the colour of the substance in my ear was unsettling. The removal procedure was quickly over and could feel my ear having a declutter which was such a relief. The pain had increased during the previous month and also the buzzing sound due to the congestion. My request is if the mechanism could have a silencer it would help. Although have been saying the same for years to the dentist. Hearbase offers a Professional service that improves the quality of life with an opportunity to ask lots of questions during the appointment. Thank you to all the team in Bromley and applaud you for coping with all the new arrangements as do other medical services.

A fantastic service from Hearbase Bexleyheath received on Thursday. Professional throughout. I was seen on time, the really kind audiologist explained issues clearly and used visual software to aid her explanation. I would strongly recommend Hearbase, and would definitely use them in future if needed.
