DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RUBBISH CHINESE WEBSITE. It is not a boutique shop in Brighton and their products are no more than cheap tatt with sizings that are much larger than they claim on their website. Get a chargeback claim on your credit card.

Do not buy from this company under any circumstances. They are not based in Brighton or anywhere else in UK and sell poor quality clothing shipped from China. The shipping times are ridiculous and as others have noted the refund policy is not as advertised. I was offered increasing amounts of refund, 20% 30% but stuck out for the full amount. I also went through my bank to recoup the cost. I wish I had read these reviews before buying!

AVOID THIS COMPANY We ordered a Winter Cardigan on 11 December believing (from the slick web page) that it was from a small boutique in Brighton (which appears to not exist). It finally arrived on 29 December and the product is terrible. Actually this company appears to be a front for shoddy goods from China. Returns are impossible as you are told to return them to China. Refunds are not offered based on our experience. Our strong recommendation is not to be fooled by the very credible web page and to avoid any dealings with this company.

Awful. I fell for slick branding of what looked like a boutique in Brighton but is a front for imported goods from China. Tacky, flimsy quality, colours not true to images on website. "30-day returns guarantee" means nothing. They do not stick to their own returns policy but have variously offered me replacement items, store credits worth 20%, 30% and I keep the product, finally 40% refund and I send track-and-trace to China. No delivery note and no help offered in telling me what HS code to use. Will send back to return address (warehouse in London) and go on from there. Have probably lost my money now

Do not buy anything from this company. I am in the middle of trying to return goods that were not what was represented. Very poor quality in fact rubbish. I’ve been asking for the return address with no luck.
They are pretending to be from Brighton and they’re actually from China. Bunch of crooks.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a 'Christmas jumper' which turned out to be nothing more than a poor quality printed t shirt. It arrived 3 weeks after ordering (after Christmas!) and despite repeated requests they did not provide a return address. I have now had no option but to take action through my credit card company

Absolutely awful . Ordered Christmas jumper arrived after Christmas the quality is awful and I have to pay to return. Bad quality goods from China not Brighton

this company is a scam
similar to many other chinese companies doing the same thing
if any customers bought these poor quality items on their credit cards they can legitimately request a chargeback request through the credit card company which should be successful given the inaccurate information being given

Absolutely awful quality of product do not touch them with a barge pole ! It took weeks for the shoes to arrive when they did the package was so poorly protected and the quality of the shoes was awful cheap and clearly made for peanuts somewhere in China ! Dreadful experience dreadful quality !!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Hazel and May are not a lovely little boutique based in Brighton as the ads would have you believe. My parcel arrived very late (thank you Yodel), too late for Christmas, and the clothing quality is poor. Now I find that I need to return it to China at my own expense - including import duties - in order to get a refund so it's not worth doing. The whole thing is a con and I wish I had read reviews here before ordering.

This company is operating fraudulently with a fake address and offers no protection for the buyer under UK legislation. They cannot be contacted by text email or phone and are typical of many Chinese companies pedalling poor quality merchandise and describing it wrongly.
There is no point in using the small claims court system as this requires the correct name, address and postcode of the defendant.
The way forward is to ask your credit card company to stop the payment. The credit card company will request that you first contact the seller before they can do this. You should insist that you have been a victim of a scam, request that they look at reviews online and insist on a credit refund to your account.
Failing which you can sue the credit card company if they don’t make a refund in fraud circumstances. You should threaten the credit card company with a class action if they don’t play ball.

If I could give this zero stars I would . Holy baby Jesus son of god . What a pile of utter tat . Terrible I’d not wear this to clean in . Why a boutique from Brighton the returning has to go to china . Rip off company . Doubt the women seen in website exist . Total rubbish . Waste of £35 gutted

Absolutely a load of crap, I thought it was coming from a boutique in Brighton, but no not only did it come after Christmas 30/12/25 it’s really a badly made and nothing like the original picture. I wouldn’t mind if it had been cheap 🤬

Poor quality-dreadful sizing-no return opportunity offered.
Several emails sent from H&M by many different names offering reasons for delay in sending. It was intended to be a Xmas gift.
This outfit not to be recommended.

Please don't purchase anything from this company. I thought I was buying my Christmas jumper from a company in Brighton. For Brighton read China! Appalling service. My jumper took over 3 weeks to arrive. Advert said it had been reduced from £100 to £30!!! The quality is dreadful. I asked for a refund and was told I would have to pay postage and customs to return to China. Eventually I settled for 20%refund and kept the jumper which I will donate to a charity shop.

Absolutely fake and sham business! Can’t believe I was taken in by this sham company!!! Do not buy from them!Awful quality. Not based in Brighton!!!! They’re in China! What a mistake I made ordering from them. I should have looked at their reviews!!

I was attracted to the Christmas Jumper which was more of a very poor quality t type top.Poor cotton material.nearly three weeks delivery,large enough to fit a rugby player and no labels or care instructions.
Despite wanting a refund constant offers of reduced price offers.This is a disgraceful way to do business and I am referring this company to Trading standards .

A total con!! Don’t be taken in by their lovely looking loafers. Just a cover for Chinese rubbish- and they take over a month to get here! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I could.

Nothing was right about the top ordered and it became clear that this is a front for rubbish things and charging a premium price. Top didn’t turn up in time. Too big and wrong colour etc etc. told I could return it but had to pay costs and postage back to china. Wish I had found this page before, as I looked into the company first and thought like everyone else on here that it was a great business only to find out it was a lie when too late.
