Our driver & tour guide were great, although we were disappointed with the city part of the tour. It would have been nicer with a lunch stop.

Mahalo for letting us know that you weren't happy with the city part of the driving tour. We do have other tours that have a designated lunch stop, but the Battleship Missouri & Pearl Harbor Plus City Tour has time allotted for you to get lunch, but lunch is not included.
This is from the website under Food & Drink: "Lunch is not included in this tour, but there are a variety of options for food and drink throughout the day. Please be sure to bring a reusable water bottle. There are free water refill locations. There is a small convenience store in the Visitor Center with packaged refrigerated meals, snacks, and drinks. At the Missouri Battleship, along the pier, there are some limited options, such as hot handheld items like hot dogs or cold items like shave ice."

Not what we expected, lots of cancellations
When things got cancelled didn't have a good backup plan, (we did have some bad weather, that was not on them), but I feel that there should have been some backups, we ended up doing most things on our own, also seems that things that I thought were covered under the booking fee were not, ended up paying for more things that I thought we would, the description made it seem as if they were covered under the booking fees (hotel fees, and such).

Our guides were TeHani, Kylie and Maddy. They were all so great. Funny, informative, helpful. They really contributed to making it a great experience. We weren't sure what to expect but it turned out to be so much more fun than we even expected.

The only thing that was a little confusing was the van.
Ours ended up say VIP not the name of the ranch. If we didn’t asked we would have missed it.
But the staff at the ranch was so professional , kind and made it special.
Just wish we had a little more time at the ranch. But hey you can’t please everyone. But that is minor.

We truly enjoyed our vacation
We truly enjoyed our vacation, once we arrived in Hawaii, we received daily text message reminders with the next days itinerary, activity, pick up place, company and sometimes the confirmation number. Had a VERY stressful morning and could've missed our flight to the Big Island for the day if I hadn't called the cab company, as the cab company said they did not have the reservation for us that morning 💔. HOWEVER, I feel that was a cab company issue as we had issues the day before (getting texts asking if we still needed the cab while we were in the cab to our activity and back)...so something told me to call them...they said the reservation was for the day before HOWEVER the tour company called to set it up the day before because we had to be picked up at 4am to make a 6am flight. Made for a VERY stressful morning.
Also I feel obligated to say that Hawaii Tours did not operate any of our transportation or events they subbed it all out to other tour companies. BUT they handled all of the requirements, reservations, tickets, seating, to make the days memorable and less hectic. ENO tours did our Pearl Harbor Day, it was wonderful, we were given a rain poncho, and a lanyard that had everything we needed for the day (Lanyard, a great idea). Polynesian Culture Center was an amazing day, even for a longer day. Big Island Tour, by Show you Hawaii, was AWESOME they were so personable, down to earth real people, they turned a stressful day into an amazing day. Ziplining at the Ranch was GREAT.... but they need escalators between lines lol. Ended our trip with the Sunset/fireworks dinner cruise with Star of Honolulu....this was so wonderful, dinner was great, cruise was great. We had absolutely amazing event staff for everything, bus drivers were amazing. Most cab drivers were great, dispatch a bit of a confusing mess.... One cab driver that was absolutely rude.... needs a sign that says "automatic door" on his van so he can not be an A$$hat..... MOST of the vans had them IF they had an automatic door. Toplimo was the BEST ever. ❤️🏝💙. Thank you for all of your coordination and making our trip one to remember always ❤️ Oh... and no bathrooms at Manoa Falls/movie hike... very slippery with some small rocks, lots of small moving rocks for the "pathway"
The trail is absolutely beautiful but never dries due to the raining part of the island, be prepared.

30-30-25 Anniversary Trip
With a group of 3 couples we began planning our bucket-list Anniversary trip about 1 year prior to traveling. Initially we had some communication challenges, particularly related to business issue with the tour company. We were also challenged close to travel by hurricanes/weather that affected the islands just prior to our departure date.
While on the islands for our 4 island-13 day trip everything was wonderful and well coordinated. Each day we received updates related to transportation and the next day’s excursion schedule. The transports to the hotels and airports were top-notch. The tours were incredible and memorable. Most tours were very small group, some just our 6 travellers, but no more than 8 total. This allowed for very personal experiences on each island.
The individual tour excursions employees were incredible and were so appreciative our our business and travel to their islands. We were really able to get a sense of the culture, history and true beauty of each island.
We had one snag with one resort that was closed due to storm damage, but the replacement resort in Kauai was great. The communication with the tour company on the day prior was a little difficult waiting on confirmation on travel changes; but the issue was resolved prior to leaving on our flight
that morning.
The on-island concierge service texting and response time was great, and one of the big reasons we chose to book with this company. Memories abound, this was truly the trip of a lifetime! Mahalo

Yes, it's true that we purchased HawaiiTours.com in Dec of 2025 and had several thousand people to rebook and reschedule in record time. Fortunately, we have a great team of agents and customer service reps, so we had very few issues thanks to their hard work.
We're over the moon that you were quickly rebooked to another hotel on Kauai when there were issues with the storm. We always try to tell people that they likely don't have to cancel their entire trip (we know it's hard to get time off and all of the effort everyone puts into planning it all out) because even the biggest hurricanes usually miss at least a few islands! Our volcanoes break things up most of the time, thankfully.

Honolulu is a bit of nostalgia mixed with modern day dining, buildings and shopping and North Shore is old school Hawai'i. Oahu is the kind of place where you're just as likely to see a picture of Elvis in a window as you are King Kamehameha because we love them both!
