Review for Hashtag Indian Restaurant
We visited Hashtag for an Indian meal and it was absolutely exceptional. The food was bursting with flavour — genuinely the best we’ve ever tasted. Every dish was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of authentic spices that made the whole experience unforgettable.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel completely looked after without ever being intrusive.

Hashtag has set a new standard for us. Incredible food, amazing service, and a place we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended.

This was our third visit to Hashtag Indian Restaurant, this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and once again it exceeded our expectations. We have now been with different groups of friends as well as for a special occasion, and every visit has been consistently excellent.

One of the things we love most is that we're still excited to explore the menu and try new dishes. On this visit, we started with the Samosa Chaat and the Butter Garlic Prawns, both of which were absolutely delicious. For our mains, we chose the Roast Black-Pepper Duck and the Murgh Malai Korma, and they were simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of authentic flavour, and cooked to perfection.

The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive, making the whole dining experience a pleasure. The décor is stylish and inviting, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere that's ideal whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a meal with friends.

It's wonderful to have a restaurant of this quality in West Cumbria. We have never been disappointed, and we're already looking forward to our next visit to discover even more dishes from the menu. Highly recommended!

Following an excellent recommendation from my B&B I tried Hashtag restaurant this evening. Fabulous welcoming staff and truly amazing food. I can highly recommend the fish curry. The portions are plentiful. I will return when I’m working in Workington again

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in years . Sia and Evie serving us were very welcoming also the head lady and the food was out of this world and all freshly cooked , even the pickles trays were hand made . The restaurant itself self has such a lovely atmosphere and well spaced out as for the price it was excellent for the top quality of service and quantity. I hope all the best to these people who have put their heart into a well deserved top quality restaurant in the north west of Cumbria . A must to try
