Muhammad was excellent sales person at harvey norman most helpful

I ordered a cooker hood online. My kitchen was designed around the cooker hood. Harvey Norman showed they held stock of this cooker hood on their website. I ordered and paid. continued with my kitchen installation. Turns our the manufacturer had discontinued the product but Harvey Norman hadn't updated their site nor had they had stock of it like their website implied. There was no email from them telling me they cancelled my order , I just received a refund in my bank with no explanation. Later on I did receive an email asking me to leave a review, which I left a review pretty much the same as said above. They rejected the review and would not post it saying that its doesn't meet their guidelines. so I wouldn't trust the reviews on their site as they wont post the bad ones!

Good friendly service without being rushed

I made a purchase from Harvey Norman UK almost a month ago, and the experience since then has been absolutely unacceptable.
Before purchasing, their own website advised customers to contact them to confirm whether the product was in stock. We did exactly that. After contacting them, Harvey Norman sent us a payment link, which gave us every reason to believe the product was available and that the order could be fulfilled.
Since taking our payment, however, there has been virtually no communication.
I have had to call them repeatedly just to find out what is happening with my order. On one call, I was told that the product was actually not in stock and that selling it to us had been a mistake on their side.
On another occasion, I was told that someone would check with the warehouse and call me back. Nobody did.
Even more frustratingly, they later claimed that they had tried to call me and had sent me an email. I have no missed calls and no email whatsoever.
Almost a month after paying, I am still left chasing them for answers about a product that they apparently should not have sold to me in the first place.
The combination of taking payment after we specifically checked stock availability, failing to proactively update us, repeatedly making promises to call back, and then claiming to have contacted us when I have no record of either a call or an email has completely destroyed my confidence in this company.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to think very carefully before paying Harvey Norman UK for anything unless they can provide clear written confirmation that the item is physically in stock and ready for dispatch.
I certainly would not purchase from them again. This has been one of the most frustrating online retail experiences I have had.

Veronika was amazing!! We came in for a MacBook and wanted to pay via the Humm finance option but we had issues online so headed instore. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful but due to Veronika's excellent customer service & product knowledge we purchase it outright. Veronika is a massive credit to Harvey Norman and a pleasure to deal with, thank you, will be returning!

Jayden was excellent in guiding us around, sharing information and answering our questions, which led to us returning the following day to buy our TV.
Jayden made us think about where the TV should be placed in our home and the impact of light on the screen.
Furthermore, he was polite, not overbearing as to what we should buy.

Absolutely outstanding customer service following a difficulty entering a delivery address on the Harvey Norman website. Two people from their technical and customer service departments rang me and I received my goods within 24 hours. So unusual to get to speak to real human beings in 2026 and even better to get first class treatment. Couldn’t be more pleased. I shall be using this firm first from now on.

From the moment we walked in the door we felt valued. Staff were friendly and attentive but not pushy. There was a vast selection of goods available which were well displayed. In particular Bradley sorted us out with a problem we needed to solve with our TV and his recommendations worked a treat.

Order confirmation etc, delivery 2 days, 1 week later, no dispatch, no response from their automated service, no way to speak to someone, online order says processing, processing what? Frozen peas?

Excellent service from Mario in Harvey Norman MerryHill. Wanted an Apple Watch but was out of stock, Mario ordered one in for me and phoned me when it was in stock . He was very helpful and knowledgeable.
