Great service all round!

Paige at Merry Hill went above and beyond to help us with the purchase of a freezer. We were travelling some distance to view one on the shop floor and, having reserved it for us, she even organised her break so she'd be available to help us when we arrived. Delivery was exactly as promised, with regular updates throughout. I'd absolutely recommend this store if this is the usual standard. All the staff were really cheerful and helpful - it makes such a difference and yet is a rare thing!

I can’t say I’d recommend this store

I can’t say I’d recommend this store. I bought a TV over £2000 and was told this was a special order that they would order direct from Samsung to be shipped to me. No problem I thought, since if I bought the TV direct from Samsung, they can ship it to me next day so it’s clearly in stock and available. Over 3 weeks later, I am still without TV, still without an update, and still over £2000 out of pocket. My disappointment is not only that it is taking so long, but rather with the zero updates provided to me by HN, especially after I have contacted them numerous times, and have store managers Niki and Carl cc’d in the email trail too. Date of purchase was 17th June.

Demi and Gab

Demi was professional, helpful, she went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. She explained everything about my purchase to me before I made a final choice to purchase.

Gab was very patient with me and reassured me that all data from my old device would be present on my new device, the set up process was smooth and seamless. His calm and professional demeanor put my at ease and allowed me to feel comfortable that the job would be completed in a competent and professional manner.

No pressure to buy. Great staff.

From the start there was no pressure to buy. Advice was given and nothing was too much trouble. I spoke to Gary initially and was given a printed quote and that quote lasted for about 2 weeks which gives you time to think about it. I went back with a few more questions then decided to buy my new iPhone. I had the copy service which was done within the hour and the young man who did it also made sure I was happy with things before leaving the store. I would recommend going here initially as the service was excellent and if there’s a problem they say to go back for help. This is one store I will go to first to have a look.

Emily has been fantastic very attentive…

Emily has been fantastic very attentive not pushy or over selling. She allowed us to look around in peace and then advised us of our options. She even allowed us to go outside with the colour book to see the colours properly. She is so friendly and has good knowledge of the items in store.

Merry Hill has brilliant staff

Bradley & Paige at the Merry Hill branch have both been excellent at delivering good service. They were transparent in informing us of the products we were curious about, they were patient and honest. We are happy with every purchase we’ve maid at HN they played a massive part in this. We’ll be back.

Awful service

Ordered a dining table on the 2nd May - confirmed a 13 day delay…

After 8 weeks of chasing for updates I finally get a delivery date of 27th June to then have to call the store again for a delivery update as no communication from the delivery company on the specific day!

After several phone calls I then get updated that the table has a leg missing so we will need to wait a couple of weeks for delivery yet again. About 10 minutes after this call I then receive another call and get advised that the table has been discontinued and is no longer available so offered full refund! ..not one apology the whole time..

The general service and communication has been awful and I will not be returning to purchase any other items from your store
