I usually use the internet rather than stores, however, Harry Garlick's, in Clitheroe had been recommended by a friend so I decided to give them a try when I needed a new TV. From the very first contact I made with Andy, who is the manager there, the customer service was above and beyond. Andy helped me choose which TV was better for my particular taste and needs including specification and size. This was great as I was clueless about modern TV's and this was a surprise for my husband who was in hospital at the time. Andy was great! Once I had decided, he made sure that the TV was delivered on the one day I would be home to receive it which meant no need for asking work for extra days off, and he came himself, that same day to install it!! Absolutely brilliant service, I will always choose this option from now on as I know that if I have any issues with my TV in the next 5 years, it will be attended to efficiently. Thanks so much Andy & Harry Garlick's!

Unlike many retailers, they actually do what they say.....
The lads who delivered my TV were very helpful & efficient.
They were helpful when I had to visit the shop to complete the manufacturer's guarantee.
Altogether a GOOD experience..

Probably the worst high street experience of my life. Unfriendly, uncooperative and obdurate staff. I won’t be going near the place ever again. Shops like this are a great shame because the high street has so much to offer. My strong recommendation would be to give Harry Garlick and all its employees a very wide berth - avoid!

We had an unfortunate incident where our 1 year old cracked our tv screen on a Saturday afternoon… 1 call to Andy at Clitheroe and we had a new tv in the house before close of play the same day! Quality service.

My freezer broke so needed to replace it. Andy at the Clitheroe store was fantastic and arranged for a new freezer to be delivered the following day. Great service & highly recommended.

Brilliant service from start to finish with Andy the manager at the Clitheroe store and Riaz and Steve at Padiham. They were very helpful in finding out my needs and requirements for a new TV and helped narrow down the best choice for me within my budget. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The price was as competitive as online and with that personal touch that you don’t get elsewhere, I had lots of questions and as the market moves on so quickly, you need expert advice, and I got it. I don’t have the time to search online for hours on end to find the best TV’s. I feel much happier buying local and getting the added service.

I bought a Sony OLED and it’s fantastic. Will definitely be shopping again here!

Went to the Barnoldswick shop today to purchase a TV for my parents, I walked in and ‘James’ was on the phone, I wasn’t acknowledged when I walked in even though he turned and saw me, didn’t mind he was on the phone, though for the whole 10 minutes I waited I wasn’t acknowledged the whole time either even though I was stood at the counter and he could see that I was there as the door was open, so ended up walking out, pretty rude and won’t be going back.

Thank you to Steve and John who delivered our new appliances and put them in our tight kitchen space they were amazing I would definitely recommend them harry garlicks padiham

I rang the shop at Padiham to ask if they had a particular TV stand in stock. They didn't, but Paul was very helpful and said he would arrange for one to be delivered and set up to allow us to see it. The next day we went and it was fully assembled so we could see it.
It was just what we wanted and we took it home with us. Excellent customer care and a good experience to shop local. Thank you for all your help Paul.

I have used Harry Garlicks for over forty years, and recently I needed a new television, John and James at the Barnoldswick branch were really helpful and I am so happy with my new Sony television, installation was done by Stephen and James who did an excellent job as well as being really helpful and informative setting it up. I would recommend Harry Garlicks to anyone for all household needs. Thank you Sharon.

I have been a customer of Garlicks for over 30 years, for good reason, I’m pleased to say they are still the friendly customer focused shop they always where, I recently needed to change my TV, this is something I haven’t done for probably 10 years, I know tech has moved on but my understanding of it hasn’t lol, anyway back to my trusted shop Harry Garlicks, John and Calvin at the Skipton store soon sorted me out, they explained all the modern improvements without baffling me with Tech stuff I don’t understand, in short within half an hr I was sorted, great replacement TV on order at a great price, a slight mix up over delivery and installation was quickly sorted amicably, I’m now in possession of a great TV fully installed no hassle all programmed and ready to use, thanks to John and Calvin for all their help, see you next time I need an upgrade, kind regards Darren 👍

Our washing machine died the day before our holiday!
On return we went into the Clitheroe branch having done our research. They were so so helpful. We were wanting a particular program on the washing machine & couldn't find mention of it in the manual. The manager even downloaded the manual onto his phone & emailed it to us.
They took the machine off the display & plugged it in to search through programs. Unfortunately, it didn't have what we wanted but had programs we hadn't considered. Washing machine bought, delivered, installed & old machine taken away.

Called into Harry Garlick's Padiham store with my Mum, who had a stroke and struggles with speech, the manager of the store was lovely, listened to her requirements and took time to listen, explain and sort the things she required, (very reasonable prices too). Her purchases have arrived today and were installed by two lovely gentlemen, who went above and beyond, sorting out an issue in her kitchen for her, thank you all so much, it is greatly appreciated, will be coming back to you again!
