I was gifted a prayer plant which arrived on 3.9.26. When it arrived some of the edges of the leaves had brown tips already and new leaves that were pushing through were already dried and dead.
Not what I expected from a reputable houseplant company. Very disappointing.
I'm sure it's not what the person who gifted it to me would expect!

UPDATE:
I have amended my 3 stars to a 5 star. Emily from Customer Support responded promptly to my email yesterday and today. Aplogising for the plant that I received. She has replaced my plant and I should have it in a couple of days.

My replacement plant has arrived in excellent condition.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I contacted Happy Houseplants about a query with my order and Emily couldn’t have been more helpful. She replied quickly, was incredibly friendly and sorted everything out straight away, going above and beyond what I expected.

It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Happy Houseplants again and would highly recommend them. Thank you!

I am like a walking billboard for Happy Happy Houseplant! I tell everyone who likes plants that this is thee bomb for houseplants. I water my indoor plants every week and they are so receptive to steady fertilizer watering. Not a plant person?, I was so not either, never fertilized either, but when a product like this works so great it makes ALL the difference! Do your plants a big favor and get this and they will perk up in response to thank you!

Absolutely disgusting customer service – avoid

I genuinely cannot believe how poor my experience with Happy Houseplants has been.

I received my order and was immediately extremely unhappy with the condition and appearance of the plants. The Ficus Ginseng looked nothing like the chunky, well-developed examples shown on their website. The trunk is significantly thinner and the bizarre exposed root structure makes the plant look completely unbalanced.

The Alocasia Platinum arrived with multiple damaged leaves, including discolouration, scarring and damaged edges. This wasn’t something that developed after I received it — the damage was there on arrival, and I photographed it immediately. Since then, the leaves have deteriorated further and are now rotting.

I contacted Happy Houseplants with photographs and gave them the opportunity to resolve the situation. They didn’t even bother responding.

After waiting over a week, I sent a follow-up email explaining that the Alocasia was deteriorating further. Once again, nothing. No response whatsoever.

This is an absolutely pathetic level of customer service.

I also purchased pots based on the recommendations shown directly on the product pages for these plants. And guess what? The recommended pots aren’t even the correct size for the nursery pots supplied with the plants. So even their own product recommendations don’t appear to have been properly thought through.

I completely understand that plants are living products and that individual specimens will vary. I also understand that some minor damage can occur during delivery. What I don’t accept is receiving plants that are already in poor condition, watching them deteriorate, contacting the company with photographic evidence, and then being completely ignored.

The quality of the plants was disappointing enough. The total lack of customer service afterwards is what has really upset me.

I’ve now sent multiple emails and haven’t even been given the basic courtesy of a response.

Absolutely disgusting way to treat a customer. I will not be ordering from Happy Houseplants again and would seriously think twice before giving this company your money.

I can highly recommend Happy House plants, the website is informative and easy to use allowing me to pick and find plants that worked for me and the areas in my home I wanted to use.
Emily was quick at responding to my questions and the delivery was quick and easy, plants arrived in amazing condition and are currently adjusting to their new environment. I would definitely use again and have already recommended to my neighbour.

I found this family run business whilst searching for plants that could be used as centrepieces for table settings for my son's wedding. I bought 8 anthurium Lili plants, not knowing how they would be. The plants were packed securely and perfectly. They were delivered in a timely way and communication was excellent. The plants were able to be put in place immediately and looked perfect. I am very pleased with the service and the quality of the plants, as well as the great value for money. I would highly recommend!

Emily was incredibly helpful and pointed us in the right direction as to what plants would suit each of our rooms environments. We purchased a rescue box which we are so happy with, we will definitely be returning in the very near future once we decide on which plants from the amazing stock she has.

We have purchased numerous plants from Happy Houseplants and all of them have been fabulous. The the packaging is well considered and the plants arrive in perfect condition. The Kentia Palm has been in my lounge for a year and grown considerably - we call it the trifid!

This is my first order with this company and I have to say the whole experience has been amazing. My plant arrived earlier than expected and in beautiful condition. I will definitely be buying from them again!!

I bought an aspidistra from you earlier this year. He arrived in perfect condition and Albert now lives in my conservatory in a large 'ugly chic' pot which a friend gave me because she thought I'd hate it. He's absolutely thriving, growing lots of new leaves and looking very handsome. Thank you very much for your excellent service

I bought a houseplant as a gift for a friend and what turned up for almost £50 was embarrassingly poor. The plant pot didn’t fit in the decorative planter properly and it didn’t look like the image on the website. My friend was a bit confused by it and it was such a let down. I wasn’t going to get my friend to return it as that’s incredibly annoying. The customer service was pretty poor to be honest and I truly wish I hadn’t bothered! Waste of money.

Such beautiful plants, even fresh out the packaging. Usually care tip cards are useless but if I was a beginner and followed the tips on THESE cards, my plants would have been thriving from the start. A lot of the time, delivery care instructions like the 'this way up' arrows are ignored and still, the plants are intact. I've ordered about 3 plants from this website and can't wait to get some more cuties on my next payday *winkwink.* The package always comes earlier than expected, it's like Christmas day every time. 10/10 Would recommend. Lots of love ♥

We had a Pachira tree as a gift from Happy House Plants, which arrived today. It is absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed with how well it was packaged so that it would not get damaged in transit. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them myself in the future. Thank you!

I'm not really into plants or stuff, yet my girlfriend is trying to modernise my flat. I spoke to Mark on the phone before I purchased, he gave me excellent advice before I purchased, he talked me through how it would be delivered and how to take care of it. He said I could call anytime if I had any questions or concerns.
