They made the whole process easy. Max, the property manager is always responsive, and helpful and gets things done.
So grateful to Danish Ashraf who manages our property for us. He is incredibly capable, professional and it is always an absolute pleasure to talk to him on the phone. If I could give him 6 stars, I would!
I recently moved out of Crawford Buildingand had a very frustrating experience with the property manager, Brooke, and the management company.
My deposit was unfairly withheld for weeks after moving out on 22 August 2025.
The manager falsely claimed large items (a couch and keys) were missing, only to later admit they had them after I involved third parties.
Their communication was sloppy and confusing — including out-of-office messages with the wrong dates, making it impossible to know who was handling my case.
Only after escalating through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and sending a formal written demand did I finally get most of my deposit back.
In the end, I received £1,980 of £2,800 — but only after a month of unnecessary stress, misinformation, and chasing. The management company made what should have been a simple process incredibly difficult.
If you’re considering renting through them, because you have no choice, be prepared to fight hard for what you’re legally owed. Keep everything in writing, document your check-in/out carefully, and don’t be afraid to escalate through TDS or the courts if necessary.

We weren't direct customers of Hamptons, but we bought a house where the seller was represented by Andrew Gartan of Hamptons in east London. The purchase itself took a while to push through, but Andrew was always quick to take action without being pushy. I would be happy to have him represent us on a house sale.

Great tenants found for our property in Caterham. The lettings team headed up by Jo is very efficient and professional yet friendly and a sense of dealing with real people. Every query and request was dealt with very well and in a timely manner. Thanks to Jo and Nathan for making the process seamless and also for being understanding when things got stressful with the moving process. The administration team dealing with tenancy contracts/income statements were also on point. Highly recommend the lettings team at Hamptons Caterham.

Hamptons Richmond under Hayley Pannell try to use illegal tactics with tenants. Fortunately, the county court will take care of this and I have 6 years to issue my claim against them. See you in court!
Danish Ashraf has been really helpful to us as tenants, which is rare for Agents in our experience. We have enjoyed working with him.
Please be very careful when renting any properties from this estate agents, they are refusing to release our "damage deposit" as they are saying the landlord is refusing this and issued us with invalid points. We are a well accredited company it is colleagues who were staying there and paid on time every month, had our own cleaner etc and they are claiming it was left untidy, things broken even though the check out report has not stated any of this and the check out report was left in better condition than when we checked in. The property in question is 28 Gilbert House Wandsworth. Either the landlord they are working with is trying to scam people or they are either way it will be going to court and they will lose out.

Signed a contract for a flat near Liverpool street with Antony Hughes. I paid the deposit immediately and completed the reference checks. A move-in date of September 29 was confirmed and I booked flights accordigly (as Im relocating from abroad). 10 days later I receive a message saying the current tenant decided to stay and I can't get the flat. They refused to pay me compensation for the flights I booked (I will sue them shortly for this amount) and didn't even refund the entirety of the deposit. For your own sake, do not deal with these amateurs/scammers
We cannot recommend Hamptons - Caterham - highly enough! From our very first conversation about viewing a property, the entire team was approachable, responsive, helpful and genuinely friendly.
A special and heartfelt thanks goes to Carrie, whose knowledge and expertise in the property sector are truly second to none. She was the vital link between all the properties in our chain and the solicitors, helping to turn what was a very stressful couple of months into a far smoother experience. Her open communication, updates and exceptional liaison skills made all the difference.
Carrie was always available to speak with us and her professionalism, combined with a personal touch, was something we deeply appreciated. We were also supported by Elliot during the process, who, like Carrie, was always approachable and ready to help.
Over the year it took us to find our new home, we interacted with many estate agents and none came remotely close to the service we received from Hamptons! Harpenden branch: Excellent service all round from Julian, Richard and Janine. Unlike any other agent I have sold through, Hamptons have a "sale progressor" who focusses on making sure everything progresses smoothly. I highly recommend this team if you are selling your home in Harpenden.
Love Hamptons. We leased a house in Fulham through them. Their leasing agent - Aggie Gleba - went above and beyond. But then after we moved in, the great service continued, (which was shocking.) Danish Ashraf was our property manager and he was a dream. So attentive, so patient, so helpful. All our concerns with the property were catalogued and handled within a week using an excellent contractor (called McKenziewood) and were delighted. When we're ready to buy we will use Hamptons. When we're renting out properties, we will use Hamptons: we've found our realtors!
