Got a little confused with delivery date and despatch date as it seems many others have as well leaving negative comments about delivery

I was informed despatch means to leave their warehouse which when looking on the website it does actually say this clearly so my mistake not theirs

IRRESPONSIBLE DATE LATE SCAMMERS

WELL WELL WELL! MY BAD FOR NOT READING THESE MULTIPLE BAD REVIEWS BEFOREHAND. I am normally very thorough in researching and planning things well in advance and did exactly that in this case.

I ordered the Hamperwell Lindt heart-shaped mixed chocolate and forever flowers hamper box on the 21st of January for a 12th of February delivery costing £43.95 which included their so-called chosen specified delivery date option. Well, the 12th of February came and went no hamper.

I contacted Hamperwell via email the same day asking where the hamper was and also letting them know I and my partner were travelling for Valentine's Day and could they ensure that the delivery came beforehand this was after another email was sent on the morning of 13th when again the hamper had not arrived

I was met with no reply again and I now know why! because they don't care this is standard practice for them as the hamper to my disgust and disappointment arrived on 15th a day after the special day.

Without opening it I immediately requested to return it for a refund following their returns procedure despite hamperwells policy of re-charging you for a return delivery in addition to a 10% return charge meaning I would receive back £33.00 and change back I was still prepared to accept the loss out of principle.

Can you believe somebody was home as Hamperwell the next day just sent a generic reply refusing my returns request?

Companies like these are a disgrace to online companies that genuinely try to meet customers who pay their hard-earned money to make the one they care about feel special needs
Hamper NOT SO WELL ARE AND UNCARING FRAUDLENT BUNCH WHO HAVE ONE AIM to scam you out of your money and once they have it to keep it regardless of they're Fu.… up. Please AVOID THESE IRRESPONSIBLE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST.

TERRIBLE COMPANY MUST AVOID. After reading having a bad experience myself with the company I came to realise I should have read the reviews in the first place. I order a £53 valentines box dont know how big or small it is because it never came and when I asked where it is after ordering last monday and paying £3 for delivery aswell I got a rude email back stating that I chose the dispatch day on the 14th which makes no sense as it said when I was ordering "deliver on:", I chose the 14th for it to be delivered on as the box was a valentines box... eitherway still waiting for this hamper, box or shoe box to come. From my point of view do youself a favour and avoid disappointment from this fraudulent business.

I’ll be real, I also fell in for the bad reviews but the package did come. A bit late but I guess you got to think a bit before the D-Day for ordering. Well packaged.. great product!

Don't waste you money

Paid for 2 day delivery got it in 5 days.

Item was packaged with absolutely no care and attention in a much smaller box as advertised.

Bottle of prosecco shown with 2 glasses at £24, only comes with the bottle.

Extremely overpriced in my opinion.

Ordered a valentines day gift for my partner on the 6th of February paid £45 for the said gift and £3.95 for amazon 2 day delivery and still no item . nearly £50 down now and im fuming .

I recently placed an order with Hamper Well for a very special occasion, carefully selecting February 14th as the dispatch date, expecting the item to arrive on the correct day. Unfortunately, the item was sent far too early, completely ruining my planned surprise.

When I contacted customer service to express my frustration, I was met with a dismissive and unsympathetic response. Rather than acknowledging the miscommunication or offering a reasonable resolution, I was essentially told that it was my fault for misunderstanding their process. While I now understand their definition of “dispatch date,” it was not clearly stated at the time of purchase that this would mean a delivery much later than expected.

Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them matters. Instead of a helpful and understanding response, I received a message implying that I should have read the terms more carefully—rather than any real attempt to address my concerns. Given that this was for an important occasion, the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a lasting negative impression.

I won’t be ordering from this company again, and I would advise others to be extremely cautious when selecting delivery options to avoid a similar disappointment.

Ordered this on a Thursday, then read the reviews and had buyers regret. On the Monday, my order arrived, well packaged and as described. Very happy indeed with my transaction. Thank you.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I placed an order on Friday 06/12 and paid for Amazon 2 day delivery (Monday-Saturday). Messaged on Wednesday 11/12 to chase up my order as it had not arrived, only to be told that I placed my order when the factory was closed on Friday so they packed and posted my order on Monday 09/12 and I would receive it today (11/12). Messaged again on 12/12 to cancel the order as I still hadn’t received it and it was now too late, but I was ignored. Eventually received my parcel on 14/12, and asked for return address and refund. Again I was ignored. Messaged again on 05/01 asking the same, to which I was responded to rather rudely and told “your item was not late at all it was exactly on time”. Save your money for a business that delivers on time and actually have respect for their customers.

Unbelievable this website is a scam!! please save yourselves and don't order. I spent £80 on a gift hamper and it never arrived. Sent multiple emails and no response, There is no number I can contact. I ordered on 21/12/24 and it's been 16 days since then and no delivery. Calling my bank tomorrow to dispute this! unacceptable

If I could give no stars, I would.
My order hasn't arrived, now a month and a half late. Absolutely no response from the company despite numerous emails and messages on Instagram. Terrible. Awful. Avoid at all costs.
I wish I checked trustpilot before I ordered.

Absolutely disgusting customer service and behavior.
I felt like I have been robbed of time and money.
I placed an order on the 15th of September and I have not received any reply/ update nor the product.

Please stay away and do not order anything from this company!
