Don't bother staying at Hallmark Hotel Manchester airport it's full of Afgan migrants my colleagues weren't told and walked out after one night
Absolutely disgusting I hope when the government magic money tree dries up the customers will not return

Have been issued a parking fine by “parking eye” the company they contract in for running their car park in Darby (a place I have never even been).

Now have a CCJ from the company I cannot contact by telephone and refuse to respond to me by email.

Called the hotel and sent across the evidence that the car in the offence was not mine.

They apologised and agreed it can be clearly seen it was not my fine and I should not be liable.

They have not attempted to assist in any way after the Company they employ stealing £297 from me for an offence I didn’t even commit - terrible behaviour from an upmarket hotel.

Staff on the phone were lovely but shocking company employing conmen to run their car parks - avoid!

In Hull on Saturday i had a fall on the way back to the hotel.Was dropped off by a kind woman driver,and was cleaned up by the staff members and during the remainder of the day they keep a check on me to see if i had any after effects and i'am thankful to all the very kind staff who had quite a bit to do for our evening meal for our GALA DINNER

I attended a Christmas function here in 2019. Unfortunately, the waiter dropped a plate of scalding food over me. They dealt with it satisfactorily at the time, and said they would contact me with an offer of compensation- dry cleaning my clothes. I was quite happy with this, as I understand that accidents can happen. However, nobody bothered to get back in touch with me. I have since contacted them twice by email, and again not even an acknowledgement of my communication. Extremely poor service. I will not use them again

Having received a virgin voucher for this hotel in sefton park Liverpool. having tried booking last year tried 15 dates but once they know i have a voucher they say its fully booked which it isn't. have contacted virgin and told them they need removing from the list. virgin extended my voucher for another year but having already tried 4 dates still no availability

We had an event at the Hallmark Hotel Manchester Airport and Jasmine and her team were amazing especially Leslie the chef who did 5 star quality food!! Thanks so much to all events team who made my sons Barmitzvah so special!!

I decided to book a afternoon tea at this hotel with five other friends. It was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking, It is free if your going to used the facilitates, when you arrive in the hotel there is a machine near the bar that you put the car reg into.
We arrived 30 minutes late, and where still greeted with a welcoming smile, the dining area was very beautiful. We ordered drinks and where asked what kind of teas would we like (we where each given a tea pot of our requested tea.
And if we had any allergies.
The afternoon tea selection, of sandwiches and cakes, and fruit kebab with chocolate sauce and warm scones was so mouth watering. When you first look at the portion you think it's not going to be enough, but trust me. There was cake and some sandwiches left over left over, the food was worth the monies paid and more
We had a wonderful time and ended up staying there for 3 hours, the staff was so helpful and welcoming,
Though as we left there was a misunderstanding that drink had gone unpaid for, but this was rectified when the receipt was produce. Would I book another tea here, yes i most definitely would, it would be a love place to impress a partner or take mother for mothers day or a birthday day

Disappointed!!! Attended Hallmark Hotel in Cambridge on Tuesday 8th October for a Spa day for my partners birthday and I was not impressed. I booked this through the SpaSeekers website but I wish I never did. The photos used look really nice and clean but when we got there is looked really outdated and the changing rooms were not very clean. The staff in reception need to invest on their customer service skills or go on a course, on their mobile phone while talking to customers and not paying attention. Both me and my partner work with people face to face everyday. They didn't provide us with slippers and on my confirmation letter it stated that slippers are included, we got robes and towels but they had to go and search for them. No one showed us around or told us where to go and we pretty much had to find our own way to the Spa and changing rooms, we looked so lost in that place and felt very uncomfortable. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.
It was my partners birthday that day and I will never be taking him there again, it was a waste of money, time and we travelled 40 miles to get there. We had a couples massage and this was lovely as the girls doing them where so polite and caring but we both expected to be in the same room getting the massage that's the whole point on a couples massage as we ended up having them done separately. The place needs updating and the staff need to be taught how to speak to people and help them. We also had cream tea booked and when we go up to the bar/lounge area the staff again were not helpful and said take a sit and someone will come over, well 20 minutes went by and someone then came along to take our drinks order, 15 minutes later we had our tea but no spoons and the guy then disappeared without taking our order, we ended up leaving the place as we were very disgusted with the service and after being sat down for over 30 minutes I would of expected to be eating, and the funny thing is that the place was empty only 2 guys at the bar having a drink. I should be the one getting paid to come and I felt so bad for my partner spending his birthday in that place I could see how upset and frustrated he was getting with the whole situation. On the same day I sent a complaint email and no one has got back to me and I am very disappointed, since then I have sent another email and again no reply. SpaSeekers.com have got back to me and said they will pass on my message but again no one has. The name should be changed to Hellmark hotel!!! I gave this a 1 start as there is no option to give 0. I would like someone to contact me and issue a refund for ruining my partners birthday and wasting our time.

Hallmark Hotel at Bar Hill, Cambridge. We had to move rooms 4 times as the previous 3 rooms had heavily urine stained mattresses! Additionally the first room had no wardrobe door and a drawer missing the complimentary dressing gowns were literally on the floor! The spa was closed! All the rooms were shabby and dusty. The menu was nothing more than microwaved pub grub. Awful place. I have emailed the hotel no response! As this booking was made via secret Escapes I have also emailed them with photos of all the above issues as I’m sure they would not knowingly endorse such a disgusting hotel

Stayed at hallmark hotel Gloucester, absolutely gutted, for my partners 21st we thought a spa weekend would be nice, not at all.
The room was absolutely boiling, the service at meal times was absolutely shocking, and the spa was a leisure centre, not relaxing at all.
So gutted.

Stayed at the Hallmark Hotel at Leyland Preston. We arrived at your hotel at 8pm to be allocated the wrong room at reception. The key card didn’t work, we had been given the wrong room number as the room key we had been given was occupied. The wrong room number had been typed.
We went into our room and it looked tired, the bathroom needed updating, the bed was uncomfortable, they only give one pillow and the room needed a refresh, it was tired and dirty. Even the corridor was dark and needed painting as it looked tatty.
The spa which was the reason I had booked the hotel was closed,
We went for breakfast at 8am on Sunday morning to be met by queues of elderly people from 2 coach parties waiting for their breakfast. There wasn’t a table available in the dining room and there was so many people trying to get breakfast it was awful. The staff couldn’t cope and there wasn’t enough space for guests to get breakfast.
I have sent a complaint to the manager but have had no reply.
I would never stay with this chain of hotels.

Been here 20 mins and looking to transfer to another hotel snot on the ceiling chairs in the hall outside the restaurant falling apart all the leather is peeling off all the chairs, the paint on the walls is filthy with hand marks, the spa is full with locals residents with all there children, the hotel is in the middle of a housing estate in Gloucester so not suitable to walk around at night.

Hallmark Hotel Glasgow - Leisure Centre
Have been a member of the leisure centre at this hotel for about 15 years. Since Hallmark took over the property the place has gone rapidly downhill. The jacuzzi and steam room are continually out of action for days and sometimes weeks at a time. The company displays a complete lack of commitment to providing the services they claim to offer. Many of the lockers in the changing rooms don't work and there is frequently a bad odour (sewage smell) coming from the drains. The staff are really friendly but I'm even starting to notice their moods changing as I expect their day consists of clients and guests complaining about how badly maintained the equipment is. Come on Hallmark, get your act together!!! We have 3 memberships for this club but won't be staying much longer unless we see a rapid change.

HALLMARK MANCHESTER, TERRIBLE DIRTY PLACE TO STAY.

PARKING PAID YET I HAVE A £100 FINE TO PAY TO PARKING EYE AS THE STAFF WERE TO LAZY TO INPUT MY VEHICLE DETAILS INTO THE SYSTEM EVEN THOUGH I FILLED IN THE PAPERWORK ON ARRIVAL. FINALLY MANAGED TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE IN CHARGE - NICK GASKELL, OPERATIONS MANAGERS WHICH SAID THEY WOULD PAY THIS IMMEDIATELY, ONE MONTH LATER THIS HAS NOT BEEN PAID AND IM GETTING COURT LETTERS THROUGH THE DOOR, NOW NOT RESPONDING TO ANY EMAILS. RIDICULOUS.

Took our payment twice ! Booked through Hotels . Com they took payment then we noticed the hotel had charged us . We rung the hall mark inn Derby Saturday they did not get back to us ! So hotels . Com tried but kept getting cut off ! When they got through to the hotel they assured us we would get out money back Monday ! Well Monday’s here no money hotels . Com have been ringing the accounts department all afternoon they keep cutting them off and sayinng no one available!! Still waiting for our refund time wasted and upsetting they have our money ! Manager isn’t answering emails ! Unbelievable! Hotels .com are being brilliant so far will keep

Stayed at the Hallmark Inn Chester for 1 night the 25th May 2019 and while hotel staff very pleasant and helpful that's where it stops, Even Basil Fawlty would not stay here so do not stay here unless you have to, we arrived at 1.45 pm and asked where is the parking as car park next to hotel full, they said down the road and its £8.00 for 24 hrs as no official onsite parking, then we asked could we check in they said early checking is available before 3pm and this costs £10.00 and they assigned us room 204, on entering the lift hotel is very well aged along with the corridors its like something time forgot or at least the management has forgot and do not invest anemone just take, take, take as we paid £129.00 for the one night which includes breakfast but you have to go over the road at the sister hotel the Queens and website does not mention this when booking.

Once in the room the furniture is well dated and worn the window would not open but was stuck in a vented position and the top of the window was broken, all the handle would do is go up and down, we went reception and asked even though we paid for early check in was this are original room we were to be allocated and was told yes, asked for another room and they said they did not have one as fully booked, as this was a booked trip we had to put up with the room allocated hence this review as they said they had no other.

Once in the room we noticed the quilt cover had a rip in it, called reception and asked for this to be changed and for the bin to be emptied as there were previous occupants rubbish still in it, was told sorry housekeeping has finished for the day and they could send a quilt cover but we would have to change ourselves also furniture damaged and light fitting socket fitting needs to be addressed (See Pictures).

Be warned if you stay here we are not posh people but come on Hallmark get the basics right how can you allow you staff to sign of a room as ready with a window that will not open, bin full of rubbish and quilt cover ripped.

Hotel security is also a bit of a joke I know it was race day in Chester but when walking down the corridor early morning prior to breakfast the were people sleeping rough in the corridor and no one seemed to careless when you told reception they just said "don't know how that has happened" but did not send any one to move them on.

Attended a wedding at the Hallmark Hotel near Cambridge and the staff were tremendous. My infant daughter became unwell and they couldn't have been more helpful, even going to the local Chemist on my behalf to get some medicine.

Hugely grateful and helped in so many ways.

It is sunday morning & we were woken up before 9am by a church service which had a band & singer!!! It is now 10:40 & it is still going on!! I literally can't believe it..

Rooms are nice for what we paid & had a decent meal however room was cold yesterday & heating is on a timer so you can't adjust, reception said they would bring a heater but I'm still waiting!

1) No air condtioning in SUMMER
2) No fan
3) Ironing board & Iron stowed under bed, how can anyone expect to look for these items there?
4) Iron has no steam and a really cheap ineffective equipment
5) Fire alarm set off by shower steam every time
6) Everyone had to evacuate building at 2am because of 5) above - this is incredible. Never witnessed this before
7) You have to pay £50 in advance for drinks at the bar
8) Double bedroom is about as big as the double bed, almost zero space to move
9) My high performance car was backed into in the hotel car park and cameras recorded the event. The staff simply do not even care to get back to you and help you find the culprit. This will cost me £2,500 to repair my car door.
10) Most unhelpful staff ever, they will not return your call no matter how many times you call
11) No cash machine on site or nearby

Hotel generally ok and staff seem ok too, decided to have a meal however and was sat for almost 2hrs 20 mins for a three course course meal. Each course felt like an age to get to us easily 35/45 mins each course. This was in Wilmslow, Greater Manchester.
