Great experience start to finish. Dr Kalra was very helpful and reassuring throughout the procedure and with aftercare. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a hair transplant.

Kevin who booked my transplant was very helpful and had all the answers to my questions , on the day the 2 doctors were great everything went smooth and I am happy to be going back to them in 3 months to get my crown done .

After shopping around a number of clinics, I felt extremely forced into closing a deal, this instantly put me off. However, Kevin’s approach was always personal and inclined to find the best outcome for myself. He is clearly passionate about delivering this service. This strongly informed my decision to choose the clinic.

The experience was exactly as advertised, anaesthetic was painful, but after that, the experience was comfortable and pleasant.

All information was shared before the procedure and during.

Aftercare is clear and simple.

I have done my surgery on 7th October 2023. I am happy with Dr Kalra and his staffs. I am giving 4 starts only because I'm halfway through of complete treatment.

I'm doing my hair transplant in two stages (surgeries) as Kevin suggested. I agree with Kevin because in 2nd surgery I can fill up some gaps those are not successful in first surgery. They have done 2800 grafts in my first surgery and will do another 2000 grafts in second surgery. I have already received my first PRP on the same day. Dr Kalra is very professional and he explained me everything properly at every step of the procedure and at the end of my surgery he did a demo how to do after care. The next day of my surgery Dr Kalra phoned me to check if everything is ok and the following day Kevin texted me to check about my surgery. I'm pleased with the communication and treatment I have received so far.

Today is day 6 after my surgery and Kevin texted me just to let me know that he would give me the date of my next surgery which Dr Kalra suggested to do 6 months after first surgery.

Cannot wait for the next surgery done! Hope it would be similar experience as first one and if it is I'll give a 5 Stars ***** next time.

I write this less than 24 hrs from having my transplant. Dr Kara and his team have been absolutely amazing from the consultation through to the transplant itself. The clinic has a real family feel to it and they really do look after your every need. The clinic in Newcastle only opened in Jul 23 and it is every bit amazing as you would expect of a clinic. They walk and talk you through everything and answered all my questions always being patient with me. Apart from the anaesthetic needles being a little bit sore, the rest of the procedure was painless. Dr Kara gave me an intensive aftercare talk and demonstrated everything I needed to do. His wife was amazing as well, as my train was cancelled she offered to pay for my hotel and Uber which I kindly refused as they had done so much for me and it wasn’t their fault my train got cancelled. I would not hesitate in recommending them for a transplant, you will be in good hands, before, during and after.

I had a transplant over 12 months ago, the entire experience has been professional and smooth. The results have been great, and have surpassed my expectations. The procedure I had restored my hairline to look natural not receded. They were always available for advice and support during the recovery. I hope I will not need another procedure in a decade, but if I do, this is where I’ll go.

Had my hair transplant on 17/08/2023. Dr Karla and his team really were wonderful and reassuring during the whole operation and the aftercare has been fab as I have messaged a few times and they always reply quickly.

I do have to note that my procedure was re-scheduled 4 times. Some of the explanation Kevin provided were a bit far-fetched as they Included one of the staff having an injury from playing rugby, train strike issues and they couldn’t book the hospital room due to issues with the company splitting. The original agreed date was 10/05/2023 and dispite paying in full weeks before the agreed date I did not get the procedure until 17/08/2023 due to these delays. I did express a number of worries that this was a scam due to the delays and it did play on my mind a lot. These delays also affected my work as I had to keep re-scheduling time off ect.

Results appear to be very good after 3 weeks and due to this, the good aftercare and the procedure going well I would recommend despite the delays and that is why I would still give 5 stars.

Very happy with the results and received amazing service from the team and the doctor! Would highly recommend. The after care has also been great , helping boost my results.

I would highly recommend Harley street hair transplants. Kevin was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had whenever I contacted him leading up to the procedure and got me booked in for the date that I wanted. I had my eyebrow transplant 10 days ago at the Newcastle clinic which was immaculate. I was really nervous but Dr Kalra and his team were amazing and really made me feel at ease. Dr Kalra went through the procedure and explained what was happening throughout. The injections for the anaesthetic were quite painful but they were over and done with really quickly and I didn’t feel a thing after that. I was provided with a delicious lunch then Dr Kalra went through the aftercare and gave me everything I would need to take home, painkillers, neck pillow, antiseptic cream etc. both Kevin and Dr Kalra contacted me the following day to see how I was doing. 10/10

First of two part process currently completed. Dr Kalra and team were all very pleasant and professional. Injections of local anaesthetic were quite painful, but after that had taken effect the process did not hurt. Quite sore for the following week, but that settled down. Pleased with results and look forward to getting the rest done. Thank you Dr Kalra, the rest of the team and Kevin for being the main point of contact for arranging everything.

I had surgery on Saturday which was arranged by Kevin and performed by Dr Karla and his technicians.

I am happy so far with the progress of the surgery by Dr Karla and the communication from Kevin.

Came from Ireland to have a hair transplant, just over 2000 grafts to crown and temples. Kevin, Dr.Karla and the rest of the staff were very friendly and professional. Would recommend the service over headding further abroad. Im 8 months in and the transplant is a complete success.

My initial enquiry was answered by Kevin, he explained in detail what would be involved and how many grafts I would likely require. The conversation was nice and informal but informative, it never felt pushy. He was able to answer the questions I had.

When I decided to go ahead with the procedure it seemed to be arranged with ease thanks to Kevin. He remained in constant communication and gave me a call a couple of days before the procedure to check if I had any other concerns before hand.

Dr Karla and his Technician were both very professional and made me feel relaxed throughout the procedure. I had good conversations with them both about the procedure as well as life outside of their work.

Dr Kalra explained the after care and gave me his number to keep in touch with him should I have any concerns or questions.

I am now two weeks on from the procedure. I have healed up well and can see results starting to show. Dr Karla advised me to complete the PRP session around 6-8 weeks after the hair transplant to boost hair growth and results.

I have no hesitations to go back and have the PRP session with Dr Kalra based on my previous experience with him.

I have prolonged writing this review for a long time as I always give people the benefit of the doubt.
The preamble to the transplant: regular contact with Kevin who was always available to discuss any concerns I had. I felt really confident I had picked the right place to get my hair transplant done.
1 day before my transplant:
I was still waiting for an exact time to arrive at the centre. Originally scheduled for 9am this was then pushed to 11am which made me feel a little anxious on top of the fact that it caused a few issues as I was being dropped off and picked up.
When I arrived:
I met Dr Kalra who was polite and talked to me extremely quickly and seemed extremely hurried. I however felt as though I knew what was going on.
Prior to the procedure, I was assured there would be a TV in the room and it would be a comforting experience. This wasn't the case. The room was awash with lots of people coming in and out and Dr Kalra was constantly coming in and then darting elsewhere.
After having my hair line drawn and I had my hair shaved I sat down for stage 1. I was nervous and the vibe I got from the nurse who actually extracted the hairs wasn't the most personable. She was stand offish and really didn't engage me in the most basic of conversations.
With Dr Kalra coming in and out she was getting visibly frustrated and sighed regularly. During the procedure she was waiting for him to administer incisions and when she was implanting the hairs she regularly ran out of saline and had to leave the room to get more herself.
Conscious that she needed to concentrate I didn't speak for 3 hours.
While I endured it and it wasn't unbearable, it didn't feel like a particularly warm experience.

Fortunately for me, I was told that more hairs were implanted than what I was quoted I needed at no extra cost- though this was based on what I was told and have no way to verify.

Straight after the procedure:
Dr Kalra explained the aftercare like he was on a timer but, they were clear and he did advise me to record the instructions.

Major gripe:
Nearly six months after the procedure and though I am happy with the results, I have never been contacted to go back for the free PRP session and worst of all, I have never been back for a check up. I have chased Kevin that many times I got tired of it trying to get a fixed appointment for a check up. I had a date, then it was cancelled or never confirmed. I have now given up on going back for my check up after giving up on chasing them.

If the team put as much effort into people after the procedure as they do before you go and give your money, it would be a much better place that I would recommend. While I understand that it is a busy operation, I felt like the personal touch was lacking throughout.

Kevin appears to be a nice guy and I've always given him the benefit of the doubt but if you're always looking for new customers instead of giving current ones the best aftercare you can, it is going to result in a negative overall experience.

If you want a hair transplant and don't need much other than to just get it done and move on, at a good price, I can't see an issue. But if like me, you are tentative and nervous and would like to get good aftercare, I would probably look elsewhere based on my experience.

Very easy process from start to finish. Keep up the good work.
