As we discussed via email, you did not actually buy this item from us.
Yes it is possible that moisture can remain on the steel prior to coating and this can cause rusting of the legs over the course of a few weeks to a few months, at most. In the rare instances this does happen, we would replace the items without any issues for our customers.
Your purchase was made almost 5 years ago now and the photos you sent us did show signs of chips and scratches to the paint which would allow moisture to get to the steel and would not be classed as a manufacturing defect.
We suggest that you contact the company who you purchased the legs/furniture from and see if they are able to offer you any kind of resolution.
As mentioned, we are happy to give you a 50% discount code to order some new leg with us, but we cannot replace a set of 5 year old legs for free, that were not purchased from us in the first place.

1. Bewertung: Die Beine sehen an und für sich gut aus, leider ist der Customer Service absolut grauenhaft.
Eines meiner 4 Beine kam mit einem größeren Lackschaden an. Schon alleine das ist ärgerlich. Na gut, dann schreibt man natürlich, um das Ganze zu klären. Ich habe über einen Zeitraum von zwei Wochen 2 E-Mails direkt geschrieben und 3x die Chat-Funktion der Homepage benutzt und auf keine der 5! Anfragen auch nur eine Antwort bekommen.
Zusammenfasst: Schöne Ware, aber was hilft einem das, wenn davon 25% defekt sind und einem dann zu 0% geholfen wird? Hätte ich alle 4 Beine zurücksenden wollen, hätte ich nicht mal jemanden erreicht... Alles in allem eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. 2/5
Aktualisierte Bewertung: Nach der Antwort von Hairpin hier habe ich über Instagram Kontakt mit ihnen aufgenommen und auch sofort eine Antwort bekommen. Es wurde sich dann wirklich sofort um das oben beschriebene Problem gekümmert und ein sehr kulanter Rabatt (oder Ersatzlieferung) angeboten. Auch wurden von mir Screenshots gewünscht, damit das Problem, warum nicht geantwortet wurde, gefunden werden konnte. Kann man nichts sagen, ab hier wirklich absolut top. 5/5

Ordered the legs we wanted and they arrived on time, in great condition and packaged securely. They seem strong and solid and ideal. Measurements are spot on.

Would definitely recommend
I am very happy with my hairpin legs for my bedsides tables and also a media unit in the living room. Arrived quickly, very solid and a nice touch to include the screws and rubber feet.
