Best value and fundamentals website I have found
I am a fundamental and value investor and Gurufocus provides me with the tools I need to find the companies that fit my interests and review them. The screener helps me find undervalued companies based on Net Asset Value, PE and Book, PEG and others. I love the summary reports and often at a glance can determine if I am interested in a deeper dive or not. When I decide I want to go deeper, I take a closer look at the financials (also available on the site), Compare the fundamentals with other companies in the same industry/sector to help make my decision. I find it worth the annual subscription which has been paid for over and over again with returns in the market.

GuruFocus has an absolutely staggering amount of stock specific data and it is all at your fingertips. 30 years of financial data. Every statistic and accounting value is chartable and is placed into historical ranges. There are direct links to every variable that comprises every formula and direct links to every press release and financial filing as well. There are explanations of every feature and analytic metric, even their own proprietary metrics. Incredible site and service.

unethical billing practices
I’ve been a Premium customer of GuruFocus for four years. My two-star rating is based on several recurring issues that significantly hurt the overall experience:
1. Data accuracy: Some of the financial data is buggy or inaccurate. I’ve reported these errors multiple times through their complaint system. While this is tolerable, it reflects inconsistent quality control.
2. AI features: The new AI tools are practically useless. They fail to answer even basic questions, and older public models like early versions of ChatGPT perform far better.
3. Billing and renewal practices: This has become my main concern. I’ve experienced multiple problems—being charged before trial expirations, requests to disable auto-renew requiring a support ticket, and premature downgrades to a free account even though I still had valid paid time left.
When I raised a complaint, they temporarily reactivated my access, but now, on the last day of my subscription, I’m once again locked out and prompted only to re-enter payment information.
This effectively forces early renewal, which I find ethically unacceptable. I was ready to renew, but I will not reward such tactics. I prefer to support companies that treat customers fairly and with integrity.
Summary: GuruFocus offers some useful data, but the combination of recurring technical issues, poor AI tools, and questionable subscription handling makes it difficult to recommend in its current form.

Our financial data is sourced from highly established providers such as Morningstar, Refinitiv, and official filings from U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Given the scale of global financial reporting, occasional minor discrepancies can appear on any financial platform. When we see these, our team reviews and corrects them promptly. No large financial database is completely free of occasional small inconsistencies, but maintaining high data quality remains a core priority.
Regarding AI, the question you asked involved the competitive landscape of Inspire Medical Systems, including its unique selling proposition and comparison to competitors. Our GuruAI provided a detailed multi-section analysis covering direct competitors, market positioning, product differentiation, financial strength, valuation context, growth profile, and risk comparisons across multiple companies. GuruAI is designed specifically for investment research using structured financial data, and when additional detail is needed, users can continue the conversation with follow up questions so the analysis becomes even more specific to the angle they want to explore.
As for billing, your ticket specifically requested that your account be downgraded to the free version. When that downgrade was applied earlier than intended, you contacted support again, and your premium access was fully reinstated the same day so your membership remained active through the end of your paid term. In other words, the issue was identified and corrected immediately after you reported it. This was not a forced renewal issue, and GuruFocus does not use unfair billing practices. Auto renewal settings remain visible within each account, and if any billing or access issue occurs, our support team reviews it directly and works to resolve it promptly.
We care deeply about our customers and work hard to make sure concerns are reviewed carefully, addressed directly, and never overlooked.

Guru Focus hires bad journalists and gives financial data lacking believability. I take issue with Renato Neves and his piece on Capital Watch's allegations against another company. Renato Neves doesn't check his sources. Capital Watch isn't a real company. The address they claim actually belongs to another company. A simple Google Maps search will show that. Don't use Guru Focus for meaningful investment data, if they hire such sloppy writers like Renato Neves

In the future, the company can allow promotional banners when the place them at the top of screener pages to be dismissed by the account holder.

Service client/assistance très réactive et avec des réponses qualitatives.
Le seul bémol est le fait que le prix de l'abonnement double dès que l'on veut ajouter plus de 5 métriques personnelles. Gurufocus devrait ajouter un petit supplément pour un package de formules personnelles plus étoffé.

In an environment with so many variables, it doesn’t provide flexibility to investors. After all, investors might use the platform for 2 months and then decide they don’t want to continue.
There is no monthly or 3-month subscription option in the app. The price is reasonable, but unfortunately it is not customer-friendly in terms of options.
