Purchased a comic from Jack on Gumtree. Arrived exactly as described and in good time. It was a low value, single item but I still received an excellent service.

Ordered 2 Bronze Age Captain America comic books on Facebook Marketplace. Trader provided detailed info about each comic book & offered what I believe to be accurate grades on both. Delivery was swift & both comic books were securely packaged against potential damage from transit. All in all, I’m very happy with the comic books, delivery & service I received. Based on my 1st experience, I will definitely be buying more comic books and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this trader.
I ordered my item in a size small colour black. I received a size large in blue.
My item arrived in time for the birthday it was due for and the recipient was really pleased to receive it !

I ignored the bad reviews because I just wanted one item which I figured they couldn't mess up but I underestimated their incompetence as a business. They sent me the wrong item (because they were out of stock and the item they sent instead was 1/3rd of the value of the item i originally ordered), and when I emailed them about it, they took a good few days to get back to me and only did after I sent a follow up email. The customer service rep (Roxy) was very unhelpful. They only took me seriously when I threatened to report them to my credit card provider after which she became very helpful but lied, telling me they would reimburse me for the return cost of the item which they did not. I emailed to follow up on this and I have heard nothing back. So if you think it's just one thing that you want and what can go wrong, remember, if they don't have that they will send you the cheapest thing that mildly imitates what you originally wanted and then then act dumb when you call them out on it, you'll will have to foot the cost of returning the item YOU DID NOT ORDER
Terrible customer service. Ordered an item, they only decided to tell me "due to unforeseen circumstances" they couldn't complete it after 5-7 days. They take forever to.reply, they only reply on Shop app, and every other avenue is impossible to get through to them.
After many failed refund attempts which I'm sure didn't even happen properly, I've had to raise a dispute using PayPal. Let's hope.I get my £102 back. Been 4-6 weeks now of this nonsense. Not what we need during an economic crisis.
P.S., after the refund failed after a few weeks, I could no longer contact them on Shop - very suspicious behaviour.
Fake company by the looks of it, phone number on website is +01 2345678 so obviously fake, Facebook page has a phone number which is another company’s phone number. Been waiting a week for my Order to be sent out, had no response from emails I’ve sent. Just don’t buy off these, I’m going to get a refund! Avoid avoid!
Ten days to get a jacket here in the UK (still not received)... I have goods come from Japan in lesser time
I bought 2 pair of sandals, i only Got one pair and now they won’t refund the missing pair
Ordered 1-2 business day delivery and paid extra, over a week later and still not despatched, no one answers chat! Emails are not responded too!! And the phone number goes through to a main reception and the person who answered had no idea who they are! Disgusting service

I have never had such a terrible experience with a company like the one I had with eggnchipsclothing. I placed an order on the 25th of June for a pair of shoes and contacted them immediately after to clarify what delivery address I wanted them to go to (the one I entered on the website or the PayPal shipping address). I never received a response and had to contact them via e-mail to see if they received my message. I got a reply later that day stating that they did not think I wanted a response, and they still didn't clarify what delivery address my order would be going to. I wanted a response just to confirm what delivery address it would go to, but I got nothing.
I had to respond to their e-mail again to clarify what delivery address it would go to, and before they replied I got another e-mail informing me that my order had been shipped. The next day I was informed that it would go to the delivery address I entered on the website, not the PayPal one.
The order arrived a few days later, and the shoes had a noticeable scratch on the side. I sent an e-mail just after midnight on the 2nd July requesting a refund for the shoes. Eggnchipsclothing state that they require 5 working days to respond to e-mails (why it takes that long to send an e-mail is another question). As of today, I have not received a response from them which is 10 days, and 8 working days. I no longer require a refund, but if I did their 14 day returns policy would have expired thanks to their horrendous customer service. It almost seems intentional so that the 14 days would have expired and I couldn't get a refund.
I am thoroughly unimpressed by this company's dealing with my order and requests. I will never be using them again and will be making sure that everyone I know is aware of my experience before they order with them.
Stay away, unless you enjoy waiting forever for a reply to your requests and receiving damaged products.
