Great packaging BUT …
Great packaging BUT all frozen items received thawed so I had to cook them right away and hope that they were not spoiled. Thankfully they were ok but I didn't want to cook all of them. The box was full of ice packs and bubble wrap which means clearly they care about the contents of the package.
Also, they replaced one of my items that I ordered with something similar but was never asked if I want this or something else. I ordered an Ion Derby Crisp Rice with Dark Chocolate 38g / Derby με Σοκολάτα Υγείας and they sent a ION Sokofreta Milk Chocolate Wafer / Σοκοφρέτα 38g. I would much prefer the Stevia one that I already had in my order.
Another negative experience is that I could not pay with a disposable card during the checkout process. When I do not know the shop/vendor or I have never made a purchase with someone, I always use a one-time-use debit card for the first few times in case something goes wrong and my details are compromised. But no, I could not do it and in the end I had to do it with my normal card and wished I wasn't scammed in the process.
Last but not least Royal Mail NEVER rang the bell (we were in the flat all day waiting for it) but instead left the box in a near-by location where it could be nicked easily by someone. I know it is not the shop's fault but bad delivery gives a bad experience.
I would order again but I would never ever get fresh or frozen foods so I could easily notify Royal Mail to pick it up myself from the post office and of course not having thawed/warm items that may or may not be spoiled.

Worst customer service I have ever seen!!! Very poor quality products, total dissapointment. Avoid this market as much as you can.

Very bad when it comes to returns!
Very bad when it comes to returns!
I had to return a book and I contacted them as there were no instructions on their website other than that they accept returns and to email them for the process.
I emailed them and they advised that I need to arrange the courier and they gave me the address. All good so far.
After I sent the parcel, I checked a few days later and noticed that the driver made 3 attempts, but the parcel couldn’t be delivered.
I emailed Greek Market if the driver needs to go to a different place and they replied back to me saying that I didn’t confirm back to them that I had sent the parcel and so they couldn’t monitor the delivery.
I said, that they never advised that I need to let them know when the parcel is posted and I asked if the warehouse is open on specific hours.
They replied back saying the warehouse is open 9am-2pm and so the deliveries failed because it was after these hours. They never told me on the initial email that they are open during specific hour so I can make the necessary arrangements with the courier!
No matter how many times I said that when I asked on the return process they never told me that I need to send them the tracking nor the opening hours of the warehouse, they kept repeating that I should have told them! This is insane that they expected me to know these things and that they never took responsibility for the fact that they failed to advise me on these two requirements before I sent the parcel!
As 3 failed attempts were made, the courier’s policy it to send the parcel back to me. Greek Market wouldn’t send me a prepaid label this time due to their lack of proper instructions and they kept insisting that I need to pay for the postage again if I would like a refund.
After the multiple emails we exchanged and needing a final answer before I reported this to Trading Standards, they said that the driver went to the HGV/pallet loading shutter rather than the signposted Deliveries/Returns entrance for small parcels. I asked them what proof they have and they never replied back to me!
On the one hand they say that they close at 2pm and because the driver arrived after this hour the parcel couldn’t be delivered and on the other hand they say the delivery failed because the driver didn’t go to the right entrance. Doesn’t make sense!
I kept the book as I couldn’t accept paying again to send it back for their errors and for the fact that they don’t take accountability for their mistakes!

Change of mind returns are the customer’s responsibility. The item must be returned to our warehouse successfully within the return window, although Greek Market allowed far longer in this case. No return received means no refund. Goodwill has ended and this matter is closed.
