Website gets non responsive at times..preferences and filters drop out or don't register..for an online auction this app is somewhat not very user friendly..one would think it could have been done better.

Not to be trusted

I recently trusted grays to sell my car all was well auction ended $2700 happy with the result i was informed the buyer refused to pay ,auction number 2 sold again $3200 again buyer didn’t pay .car been with them now nearly 3 months according to grays sales under $5000 automatic from registered Credit card but nothing Grays couldn’t care less ,i was going to take car back but was informed if i do that i will be charged for 2 months storage obviously not worth it i mentioned it sounds like a scam to make cars seem defective when there constantly readvertised .never the less third auction $1400 to which they had the cheek to then charge $610 in fees and commission on a car they allowed to be devalued.Im not convinced this isn’t fraud within Grays or a third party syndicate but either way don’t trust them selling your car unless its knackered or your not bothered .made a complaint to Grays but they couldn’t care less

1 web site confusion/pickup building

1. the web site needs improvement 1. bidding on multiple items at once is confusing as the bidding display does not show the item NUMBER and contains a countdown timer which is not linked to the actual time remaining on the auction. After winning an auction my account does not show any won items? 2 the building for pick up had no sign to help you ID that this is the correct location and the functionality was a bit confusing. 3. the people were very good and quick.

Ive been a customer of Grays for 6…

Ive been a customer of Grays for 6 years now ,in that time ive purchased over 30 thousand worth in goods /vehicles. And of recent times dont bother due to there high buyers premiums they must make a killing because recently I sold a generator that was purchased by my friend who had recently passed ,the generator had not come off the trailer and had been polished so it looked better than what it did when it left I decided to sell it through grays ,told not to put on a reserve as uou get better profit from having none and lost over 7 thousand on the original purchase price. They not only charge the buyers a premium they charge the seller as well out of the 3800 o was charged over 900 by grays ,they also shil bid as this item when attempted.to buy the first time was was outbid only to have it back for auction the next week ive seen this many times when bidding on items .Dont waste your time with selling with them or even buying much better off going through market place and dropping the price and still getting more than u ever will with grays .the

The ad clearly states the motor bike started and runs. It doesn’t start ever.

The ad clearly states the motor bike starts and runs. It doesn’t start and run at all. I’ve got a mechanic onto it. Changing battery and Plugs no spark. Changing relay. It may need a brand new ecu as it was jumped and shocked and burnt out the ecu. Over $1,500 extra to be spent to have it running. Scammed big time by grays. False advertised as a runner. Lies. Be careful people of grays.

The whole entire process from buying to receiving was great. delivery process was extremely quick arrive the next day however it should be added that no information was provided as to the ETA of your item arriving the product which I purchased was delicate and it was wine and it was left in the sun, I think this should be addressed appropriately.

Extremely Disappointing...... Wasted Courier Pickup and No Resolution

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Grays. I won an item at auction and paid promptly, then arranged a courier pickup within the first week because Grays are very strict about collection timeframes and late pickup fees.
When the courier arrived to collect, Grays did not have the item available and sent the driver away without the consignment. This wasted my time and money, and extra out of pocket fees, even though I did everything right and acted quickly.
To make matters worse, I lodged a support ticket, but the communication has been poor. Responses are slow, and when they do reply it’s just “we’re still investigating” with no useful information or timeframe. It’s now been more than two weeks since I won the bid, and when I call, they can’t tell me how long it will take, only vague comments like it won’t be “more than a year,” which is unacceptable.
This has been the worst service I’ve experienced, and I expected far better from a company with Grays’ reputation. I would not recommend buying from them unless you’re prepared for delays, wasted courier costs, and very poor follow-up's, and if you do actually end up receiving the item you paid for, consider buying a lottery ticket the same day because clearly luck is on your side.

⚠️ SCAM

⚠️Please be aware,
I was sold a vehicle without declaring it had stollen plates history on ppsr. A complete scam, i have purchased cars before from them and had no issues and they were all sight unseen. This time the description was completely misleading and i raised this issue with them, didn’t take the delivery but apparently they are under different management now which is SLATTERY AUCTIONS and these scammers won’t own their mistakes. This is now my last Time buying from Them . If you can’t take the car back then refund the money or rectify the issue. Ridiculous.
Their ignorance and the replies are attached with the email and.
Please save yourself the trouble.

Auctions that deserve to be won...

I have bought wines previously from Grays auctions, my experience has been always pleasent. For my late buy I was greatily surprised with the diligence and speedy way that my order was delivered.

Definitely Grays is getting much better as time goes by.

My jaguar hit pot hole and busted both left tyres and I managed to slowly drive to Grays Garage, the owner and receptionist made all kinds of excuses, and the staff were ready to help, there was an other customer very angry and arguing in reception, I drove to Alloy wheel repair few yards away and they worked from 2pm until 7 pm to repair my wheels and tyred, that is what I will give 5 points to, A. VOID GRAYS. AVOID GRAYS. IF I COULD GIVE MINUS 5, I WOULD.
