We had an air source heat pump failure on Friday and were promised a call back (Friday pm). No one from Grant called me.
The claim details Ref G165216 - Service request no.165216 were made by our installer Warmaway in Dewsbury.
We need the parts immediately - we have had no heat or hot water in the house since Friday.

Here in North Wales over the past few days, there has been a major water leak and over 50,000 houses are without water.
As I had an Air source heat pump and water cylinder installed and manufactured by Grant UK, I was uncertain to put my heating on.
I spoke with Luke from the technical team, and he guided me step by step over the phone to turn the hot water off so I could have heating. An absolute legend and very helpful.

Following the installation of my Grant Vortex Pro 15/26 Boiler on 20 Dec 24, I contacted Grant Customer Services a week ago and asked for confirmation that my extended guarantee (2yr guarantee extended by 3 yrs to 5 yrs) had been registered. I advised that I had paid £220 on 6 Jan 25 via Pay Pal but had never received any confirmation of my new guarantee. To date I have had no email/postal confirmation of my guarantee extension, despite confirming my email address to Customer Services. Grant really needs to improve its Extended Guarantee Process and Customer Services needs to provide me with the necessary documentation.

I had a fault on a relatively new boiler which I had fixed independently. Following contact with Grant UK they very kindly offered to reimburse me for the repair work. I cannot fault their customer service, which was impeccable.

After using my Grant Aerona3 for six months my views are still 50:50 about it, hence 3 stars. It worked well in the summer, and generally works ok in the winter, which is helped by having a highly insulated house with underfloor heating throughout. But during cold snaps, performance has been disappointing at times. When the weather was -1 to -3 recently, it cost a huge amount of money to run and for most of the time didn't produce heat above 25C hence the hot water had to be further boosted by the immersion heater. Also the controls are a little primitive compared to other brands on the market, giving the end user very little awareness of how the system is performing.

Ashp - heats house fine when it's mild outside very poor performance when temperatures are below 5 degrees avoid them

Cannot praise Grant Technical Support highly enough. I rang them as we were having some challenges with our Air Source Heat Pump. Got through on the telephone easily and Damon quickly identified the problem with our settings. He patiently talked me through making a couple of changes which improved the performance of our system.

Works great when it is hot. Now that it’s 0, 1oC it’s fairly useless. Heating has been going 4 hours and it can’t increase the temperature of the bottom half of house by 1oC. Great product for Spain, Australia

I am a homeowner and purchased a Grants oil boiler 2years ago and I am extremely impressed with their technical support team especially Josh and Lance.
In conversation with either of these guys they explained everything in detail with the issue I had and resolved matters by replacement items sent very promptly even though my warranty had expired by 1 month, I can’t thank them enough and appreciate the efforts they went to to help a customer in distress especially at this time of year and in the wintertime conditions were are experiencing at present.
Once again a great big 👍 to these 2 guys

Installation took four days over the standard two with the majority of the extra time filled by the qualified fitter on hold the the tech department at Grant.
When installed the boiler failed to operate starting a hunt for the fault and a unsuccessful stream of exchanging parts with the mandatory 1-3 days wait between ordering and delivery.

This is our second grant boiler. The first one lasted for donkeys years and served s very well and I am sure that our new one will as well

My new Grant oil boiler was a replacement for an existing one that was 20 years old. The new boiler is working well, is much quieter than the old one and the house feels much warmer. There have been no issues or teething troubles. I am very pleased.

Poor experience sorry to say. Took long time before Engineer visit. Invoice sent before anything proven or ruled out in heating system. Billed directly when install or Grant between them should have sorted out. Complained unsure if it will be considered. if I am not charged then I would be happy to get this review removed.

I have had my Grant boiler for two months and it has been most efficient, quiet and is working well. I am very pleased with it. Fitter did an excellent job.

It works and the radiators have never been so hot. My previous boiler was also a Grant installed by a GI installer but the radiators were never this hot and had a lot of problems with his servicing careless and lackadaisical in all he did to the extent at the last service he half did it and never came back I had to get another GI installer to do it the only reason he did not get the install was he was overdue getting back to me and rather more pricey than the people that did install it.

The boiler has only been installed for a few weeks now but appears to be working as expected. Long term I don't know how it will perform.
Only reason that I am not giving a 1 star reviews is because Grant actually makes good boilers. Problem.is with customer service. I am.absolutely appalled at the manner in which they treated my customer. His one year old boiler had a fault and grant told him that he would be charged £150 for a call out even though it has a 10 year warranty. My customer then calls me in.panic and I contacted grant and they shipped out the part that they expected me to fit. I've now fitted this part but have since not received any payment from Grant for doing their job. I'm having to chase after £60 but to date have not even received any response. Will not be installing anymore of these boilers.
