Camera is not working
i feel very bad about writing it, because all of other reviews are so nice and lovely
my experience with Gibson cameras was kinda good, fast delivery even during Easter holidays, i got a free shipping to Ireland (the price of the body was 25 pounds and they payed 13 for delivery, which sounds weird for me but anyway its their choice), packaging was really good.
I bought Yashika TL electro (body only) in description they noticed that only the light meter is not working.
When i received the parcel turned out that not only light meter is not working but mirror stuck in up position, shutter blades and shoot button are not working properly. I texted Gibson cameras about this, they asked about photos and thats it, they are not replying anymore.

Hello, Anastasiia, thank you for your review, I'm sorry to hear that you've not had a great experience with us.
We just wanted to reply and try to settle a few things about your review.
1. In regards to the shipping cost, it wouldn't usually cost us this amount to send an item to NI, it's usually the same price as a UK mainland address, but for some reason, nowhere online including Royal Mail or our usual courier would accept your address for us to complete the shipping like we would normally do, so we had to take it to the post office and send it manually in person, which is why the address that was on the parcel was a handwritten one, and not a printed label, and in turn it cost us more than it usually would, but instead of cancelling your order, we honoured this for you and sent the camera anyway.
2. As mentioned in a previous email we had sent to you, the camera that was sent to you, was fully tested prior to being packaged and sent to you, as we do with all of our orders, as once they're photographed and listed on our website, they're then sent off to storage until they're purchased, and sometimes items can be in storage for a few months before they're purchased, so we always give them a check over before they're picked and packed to make sure that everything is as it's supposed to be, if there is a fault found at the time of packing, we would contact you to make you aware and either offer a replacement or a cancelation and refund, but there was no faults found, apart from the non functional light meter, which was mentioned in the original website listing description, so when you emailed us to say that the mirror was stuck in the up position and the door wasn't in working order, we asked for some photographs to be sent over so we could verify the fault and if it was something that could have occurred in transit. From the video you sent over to us, via email, it was apparent that the fault that was shown was not a fault that would occur in transit. This is the reason that we asked for an image of the fault, along with the serial number on the back of the camera, so that we can cross reference this with our records to ensure that you've been sent the correct item, as sometimes we have multiples of the same item in stock, and we keep records of all serial numbers and distinguishing features on our records so that we can easily identify our items when issues occur, but you only showed the fault, and not the serial number.
I'm very sorry to hear that you've not yet had a response from us. We work through our emails in the order that they come in, and as you sent the video as a new email, instead of a reply, this was then unfortunately pushed down the line for us to reply to. We also only work from 10:30 AM until 4:00 PM, we're also closed on Wednesdays, Sunday's & bank holidays, so there is a limit on the amount that we can reply to in one day unfortunately. For the fastest response, the best option is always to contact us by telephone on 01709278228.
We have now replied to your previous email & hope that we can sort out your issue.

I purchased a vintage lens for my collection with a serial number dating it to 1973. The lens was posted very quickly and arrived extremely well protected in high quality packaging. The most pleasant surprise was it’s great condition. Gibson will be my go to online camera shop from now on.
