I had a regular Gevi pot with manual…

I had a regular Gevi pot with manual buttons. I loved it. I dropped the coffee pot and the replacement Ha’s Ben out of stock for months so I bought a more advanced pot, it’s a nightmare! The time won’t set. I’ve read the instructions several times and now I can preset my coffee. Every button is sensitive. This coffee sucks.

Horrible Customer Service

The coffee maker stopped working after 7 months. When filling the water reservoir, the water ran straight through the machine and out the bottom. GEVI requested (through many emails) different information and videos. They said they could not refund my money but would replace it. I took the machine to the dump. Then they came back AGAIN and said they wanted a video of me cutting the power cord. Too late. And now they refused to honor their earlier offer. I'm the customer, yet I've been serving them over several weeks of sending this numbers, pictures, and videos to no end. Horrible customer service - out of Hong Kong. Buy American, folks! Enough of their nonsense!

Three failed coffee makers in as many years

Three failed coffee makers in as many years. All the same grind and brew product, and each began leaking water from the bottom of the tank within one year of purchase. Contacting Gevi was useless.I have learned my lesson, and will stay far away from these coffee makers.

Gevi 2.0 nugget ice maker.

The machine we purchased, the Gevi 2 nugget ice maker started making horrible, loud creaking noises after about 3 months. We descaled it and after 2 weeks, it started again. The noise was just awful. It was outside of Amazons return time frame, so we had to look at their returns policy which, it turns out, you have to ship it all the way to California at YOUR expense. Just writing it off as a bad experience and throwing it out in the trash where it belongs.

On 10/24/2025 I purchased a Gevi brand Espresso Machine

I didn't get a receipt, order number, tracking number or anything. 13 days later it showed up. It is not a sturdy machine and they neglected to post CLEARLY that I need an adjustable bean grinder. Bottom line, I don’t like it.

I contacted support via chat, asking for a refund and was asked for the order number. I said, I never got one and gave her my email and home address thinking they should be able to pull it up from that. Nope. I was told to contact support, which I did.

I said in my email that due to their lack of communication (I had emailed them asking for a tracking number and never got the dignity of a response) and the product was not to my liking, I want a refund.

They asked for a description of the issue. I told them it does not fit my needs and I don’t like it.

The following is the gist of their response:

From your description, it is not clear that the machine has a "hardware failure" (such as damaged parts, functional failure, and other problems that meet product quality defects). It is more likely that the machine's design characteristics and operating logic do not match your usage needs and expectations.

We truly value your trust in Gevi, and we want to work with you to turn this experience around. To show our commitment to making things right, we’d like to offer you two options that we hope feel fair:

If you’re open to keeping your current order, we’d be happy to issue 12 packs of descaler (A $20 package) as a gesture of apology for any inconvenience you’ve faced. This way, you can continue using the product without extra hassle—and we hope this small adjustment helps you enjoy its features fully.

If you still prefer a full refund, we want to be transparent with you upfront (per our official website policy for non-functional returns): We would need to deduct 50% of the order amount, and the return shipping fee would be covered by you. We know this isn’t ideal, and we wish we could adjust these terms—but these guidelines help us maintain consistent support for all customers, ensuring everyone receives fair treatment.

And since we are not the seller of the insurance, the purchased insurance will not be refunded.

We’d hate to see you go, but ultimately, we want you to choose what works best for you. If you have questions about either option, or need help with next steps, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to assist you right away.

3 failed units in a little over a year, don't waste your money!

This company sent us the first unit in July of 2024. That unit died within a few months. They sent a replacement unit, which also failed. They sent another unit and upgraded it to their newer model. That model has now also failed. They refuse to stand behind their warranty, and even though I am covered until Oct. 18th, 2025, they will not provide any resolution.

Horrible Customer Service & Defective Product

My son received a Gevi espresso maker as a gift. Within 9 months, the machine stopped brewing. He had been cleaning it regularly per the instructions, and operating it per the manufacturer's recommendations. I submitted a help ticket to Gevi, and the only way anyone would help me was if I created an online account and sent in numerous emails with purchase details and videos of the machine not working. I was happy to do so in order to receive a solution to the problem and, if necessary, an option to purchase any necessary replacement parts if not covered by a warranty. Because of the fact that this machine was purchased on eBay, Gevi refused to give me any information as to what the problem was, how to fix it, and if a replacement part was needed. They told me to contact the eBay seller for after-purchase services, which is not an option. I am appalled at how abruptly this company dismissed my request for help. Regardless of the platform in which the espresso machine was purchased, the manufacturer should still attempt to offer a way for me to get their product back to working order. I refuse to buy anything more from this company.

I'm so disappointed with this company…

I'm so disappointed with this company and their products. I bought the coffee machine with the built in grinder for it to completely stop brewing and water pouring out of the reservoir all over my counter. 5 months of owning it and proper care. They replaced it after having to send pictures and videos. 2 week process to get it. The same thing happens just under 3 months later! I had been told that the warranty doesn't reset. I thought naturally that the warranty would still be honored due to that. NOPE! Nothing. Stay far away from this sham of a company.

I purchased the Geri 2 in 1 Smart Drip…

I purchased the Geri 2 in 1 Smart Drip Coffee Machine in Oct on Amazon. My thought was that it would save me counter space in my new, smaller home. As I was busy moving and traveling, I didn’t start using it immediately.
Since I’ve begun to use it, I’ve had nothing but problems. Especially with the grinder.
I’ve never been able to use the grind size button as it will not move. Then the grinder clogged and there were no clear instructions as to how to unclog it.
I’m now grinding my own coffee to add. I’ve noticed that the warming plate doesn’t keep the coffee warm enough & I have to microwave it.
This is not a good product. Not user friendly and sorry I brought it.
