I got in touch simply to ask about uniform allowance, which I was told I already get anyway because I applied for it at a former job.

I contacted HMRC off my own back to inform them I'm on the wrong tax code and that I was owed about a grand. After I sorted it out myself, Tax Returned got in touch with me and had the audacity to tell me that *they* had done the legwork, and were charging me £300+ for literally doing nothing.

I paid the invoice anyway after trawling through old emails and realising it was my own fault for not reading clause 11 in the terms and conditions and that I should have cancelled immediately.

I'm not saying that they're scam artists, I'm just saying be extremely wary of dealing with them.

Would not recommend this company. I recieved my tax return, however they dont tell you about fees. Asking for £200. They havent done anything for me. AVOID

This is a scam! Stealing hard working people's money. How can you leeches sleep at night? HMRC a just as bad as they know its a scam and still send them people's money. Filth thieves. I've reported this to action fraud, the police and the ombudsman. Scumbags.

Never used this company before, yet they took a hefty fee from my tax refund without my knowledge. I've tried reaching out but no response, and no clear way to contact them. Quite frustrating.

My cheque for 21.78 bounced. After a cheque of 128 pound 21.78 is what I was left with by the time they took fees and VAT. This company needs closed down I never even asked them to do anything on my behalf. Thief’s and fraudsters.

Con Company what they fail to tell you is they charge 28% + VAT plus £50
Avoid at all costs a total rip off

The £50(+VAT) fee will eat up all tax return you'd get if you applied directly at HMRC.
If you are due a refund of £89.50 from HMRC you won't see a penny if you transfer your right over to this company, and they will collect year afyer year until you cancel plus 4 years. And when you think you severed contacts they will continue claiming their fees, sending in their lawyers.

When i claimed this some years ago through yourselves, I was informed on what amount I was getting but I never recieved it!
So I don't hold out much hope that I will recieve any amount owed from yourselves this time either. The exact date requested does not go back far enough for me to estimate when last claimed this!

Please stay away from these idiots! I received a letter from HMRC saying I’m due a refund of £94.86 and they passed it on to this company and when the cheque arrived I was expecting it to be the actual amount I was owed back but to my horror I was left with JUST £2.99 what an absolute JOKE!! and I spoke to both parties and they said it was nothing they can do! I can’t believe this is legal 🤬🤬🤬

Absolute scammers. Due a refund from HMRC of £128. Got a cheque today for £25!!!! £50 fee plus 28% plus vat on top of that!!! Payment that is claimed to take 12 weeks took over a year. Do not use these sharks
