Payment is done before due date. I find that great because as a Freelancer it is sometimes important to receive the payment Before due date.

Communication via email was also smooth and they are enough réactive.

I understand G2 has location in the Netherlands as well therefore I would like a G2 from the Netherlands so it is clear how taxes are arranged.

Project discussion meeting was scheduled already. Got cancelled on the day of the meeting. After that I got ghosted from "my recruiter".

Others keep mailing me with absurd job offers that have not much to do with my expertise.

From start to finish, my experience with G2 Recruitment has been appalling - I was provided with details of an assignment, only to be given the wrong information, which really doesn't help when you get given an address, on your first day and it doesn't even exist. Then to establish that parking is in fact not free, you have at least £9.50p a day to pay (my first day, which was only 5 hours, so likely to be more than this for a full day).

Due to not being provided with the correct details of the assignment, I advised G2 that I was not returning to the assignment, which then resulted in G2 terminating my contract with the umbrella company, so I have not received payment for the day's work I completed.

I've been chasing, what I'm owed, since 8th June 2026, only to find out today that apparently they need to get me re-registered, so they can process the payment, surely they would have known this beforehand.

Personally, I'd avoid this agency, unless you want to be messed around.

Smooth process, kind people, pro active communication, nice to speak to the same person from recruitment until singling the contract.

From the beginning of our cooperation there has been a lack of communication and I do not recommend this agency because they cannot even pay on time and there are constant problems with payments

I got my very first salary after 9 weeks of working. I had to ask and ask for it, there was and there still is some confusion regarding. Now I get salaries on time, but still I don't get invoices or reports of it. I don't know which weeks are being paid and which part is VAT. I got instructions from Workwell when I started, but it gives old information regarding invoicing.

The last thing I would advise any capable person is to work with g2 recruiters. They are unprofessional and disappear after taking your time and making false promises.

Corrected Statement

I was offered a project in Iceland, but despite sending over 50 emails requesting a contract, none of the agencies involved were able to provide compliance with Icelandic law. Once I had already arrived in Iceland, they demanded I sign through three recruitment agencies — G2, Sapphire, and Swapp in Reykjavik — each taking a markup from the client and reducing my gross rate of €14,000 by half.

In my 30 years of international career, I have never accepted such a structure and refused. Following this, the G2 manager, Mr. Lewis, abandoned me in Reykjavik without accommodation or return tickets.

I engaged a local lawyer, but G2 attempted to redirect responsibility. This matter has now been reported to HMRC in the UK for criminal tax avoidance and to the Directorate of Labour in Iceland for inspection. Today court case continue. They didnt paid my salary, tax, social, insurance and other contribution.

These agencies operate with egocentric disregard for workers, focusing only on their percentage. I advise others to avoid them and to report every attempt of malpractice to HMRC or the relevant labour authority.

p.s. Update 12.June 2026 Company end client after reporting to investors solved obligations. G2 proof amateur work and stay far from their promises never kept.
