My experience was extremely… dissapointing. Over promise and under deliver
My experience was extremely disappointing and aligns with other negative reviews I’ve seen. Communication was poor, limited to only responsive emails with no direct calls or meaningful engagement. For a service of this level and cost, I expected professional guidance, insight, and a collaborative process,none of which were delivered. The business plan provided was generic, lacked depth, and did not reflect the standards advertised. The content and financials were taken directly from my original plan with little to no real value added. It is not acceptable to charge a substantial fee for work that is clearly below par. The entire process felt like an over-promise and under-deliver situation.
In response, Firstly, your so-called “detailed questionnaire” was barely a one-pager, and no follow-up questions were ever asked to fill obvious gaps. You proceeded to deliver a “completed” plan without properly engaging or requesting missing information. Secondly, I have a full email trail and both business plans with timestamps, clearly showing how much of your version was pulled directly from mine. There was also zero effort to arrange a Zoom or any meaningful consultation — I was the one constantly chasing via phone calls. Overall, the process felt rushed, one-sided, and far below what you would expect for the fee charged.

We would, however, like to provide some additional context for prospective clients.
Our business plans are developed using the information supplied by our clients through our detailed questionnaire and supporting documentation. In this case, a significant amount of information required for a comprehensive business plan was unfortunately not provided. This included key operational details such as the workshop address, a complete equipment list, and other business-specific information. Where information was unavailable, we highlighted the missing sections and requested the outstanding details so that they could be completed.
It is also important to note that the financial forecast was completed and approved before we proceeded with drafting the business plan. Once the financial assumptions had been agreed upon, we prepared the business plan based on the approved financial model and the information available at the time. As additional business information was still outstanding, certain sections could only be completed once those details were received.
Throughout the project, we repeatedly offered to arrange a Zoom meeting, as developing a detailed funding-ready business plan often requires a more in-depth discussion than can be achieved through short telephone calls or email correspondence. Unfortunately, this opportunity was not taken up.
Our role is to structure, analyse, and present a business professionally, but the technical and operational details of the business must come from the business owner. We cannot accurately create information that has not been provided.
We value all client feedback and remain committed to delivering high-quality funding documentation. We remain willing to work collaboratively with our clients and refine business plans as additional information becomes available.
