Ala’a, it was such a pleasure speaking with you. Although the circumstances surrounding our initial meeting were not ideal, particularly given the situation with your previous RTO, we were able to work together and develop a clear plan forward.
Your dedication and commitment to completing your few remaining units were outstanding. You applied your already well-developed training skills, powered through the requirements, and completed your final unit, TAEDEL414, to an excellent standard.

TAESS00019 Assessor Skill set
I completed the Assessor Skill Set with Fortress Learning, and my learning experience was very positive.
I enjoyed the flexibility of this online course and the well organised practical workshops.
The customer service from both administration staff and trainers was excellent.
The regular contact that kept me updated with my progress was really appreciated as well as the quick turnaround for marking of assessments and issuing the final statement of results.

My experience with Fortress Learning…
My experience with Fortress Learning was great because I had all the resources I needed throughout the course. Whenever I needed support, it was always available. Whether I contacted the administration team or my trainer, they always responded promptly and were very helpful.
I also really enjoyed the structure and flow of the course. The learning materials were well organised, and the assessments were clear and easy to follow. The way the course was designed gave me the knowledge and skills I needed to become a better trainer and assessor. I had a very positive learning experience and I am very happy with the support and quality of the course.

The TAE40122 is definitely a big qualification, and we understand that many students are surprised by just how much it covers when they first get started. While it is often seen as a course about learning how to teach, it actually prepares trainers and assessors for a much broader role within Australia's regulated VET sector. Because of that, the depth and breadth of the requirements across all 12 units can sometimes feel a little overwhelming or even a bit convoluted.
Throughout the course, students develop skills in designing training, delivering learning, assessing competence, validation, compliance, supporting learners and maintaining quality training practices. There is a lot to learn because these are all part of the role of a qualified trainer and assessor.
We also know that some units are more challenging than others. TAEASS412 and TAEASS413, for example, introduce a lot of VET-specific language and compliance concepts that can be completely new to people entering the industry. That's exactly why we run our practical assessment workshops. Rather than completing these units on your own, students work through them with a small group of peers and a qualified lead assessor who is there to explain concepts, answer questions and guide everyone through the practical assessment activities together.
Outside of the workshops, our trainers, assessors and Student Support team are always just a phone call or email away. If anyone is feeling stuck or unsure, we genuinely encourage them to reach out early so we can help get them back on track.

Fortress Training recommendation
The Cert IV TAE is a very comprehensive and challenging course. Fortress Learning was very supportive throughout the whole process. Their trainers were always approachable and ready to assist. I completed my TAE qualification with Fortress Learning and had a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed completing my TAE…
I thoroughly enjoyed completing my TAE with Fortress Learning. The course content was interesting, practical, and directly relevant to real workplace situations. Rather than simply teaching theory, the course encouraged me to think about how training and assessment work in practice, which made the learning much more engaging and valuable.
One of the biggest strengths of the course was the flexibility. My work schedule can be unpredictable, and I also have family commitments and volunteer responsibilities through Scouting. Being able to complete the training at my own pace made all the difference. There were times when life became extremely busy, and having the ability to pause, regroup, and then continue when time permitted allowed me to successfully complete the qualification.
The Fortress Learning staff were always approachable, professional, and willing to help when needed. Questions were answered promptly, and I always felt supported throughout the course. The combination of quality learning materials, flexible delivery, and supportive staff created a positive learning experience that I would happily recommend to others considering the TAE qualification.

Very great course
Very great course, amazing teachers, support and guidance given. Ability to work in my own time without stress of assessment due dates and finish the course earlier than intended was good! Assessments and lessons were easier to understand and complete while the program itself was easy to navigate.

Very Efficient
I recently completed the TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training with Fortress Learning and had an excellent experience. The trainers were readily available and supportive throughout the course. Assessment instructions were clear, marking was completed very quickly, and feedback was timely and helpful. Communication was excellent, and my qualification was issued promptly upon completion. I highly recommend Fortress Learning.

The people are fantastic.
The only times I really struggled with my training was when I was too stubborn to ask for help.
The assistance offered by the staff won't give you answers but are excellent at getting you on the right track to achieve the results you need.
