I am a regular purchaser of 00 gauge railway items from the fantastic team at Footplate. What I am really impressed with is their promptness at dealing with any enquiry. Only once did I have a serious issue where the Loco would not run, they sent a return label and amazingly replaced the faulty motor. Absolutely Brilliant!! Thank you Team for your excellent service

Bought 2 Large scale locos from this great supplier (Returning customer) They let me know that they had some of the models on my wish list and deferred the despatch at my request so they would be delivered on Saturday when I was at home.

I found just the right pre owned loco at the right price and I wanted 24hr delivery. A chat window allowed me to query the default 48hr delivery and I received a quick response to enable the 24hr P&P. The item arrived next morning well packaged. By mid afternoon it had been inspected and tested. More than satisfied with the purchase - better than other pre owned suppliers whom either fail on what was described and/or poor packaging. Great job Footplate hope to make more purchases in the future.

An excellent source of models and very comprehensive range of products at competitive prices. Delivery is swift and all packaging is stout enough to survive the rigours of delivery, especially those more delicate items needed. Website is good and easy to follow. Has presence on eBay but own website is cheaper to buy from.
