My opinion After 300+ Street miles ( limited to weather)
The deck is great. Stiff with a bit of flex. Loads of space and easy to control. Comfy for miles in the pneumatic’s. Otherwise a bit more concave would be nice.
Trucks are MBS matrix 2 with metal hangers. These feel like butter. Smooth carving once dialled in ( I run yellow fronts / orange rear). Stable at speed.
Speed wise, fastest iv’e gone is 31mph at just over half throttle on mode 2 on the remote. It can definitely go faster but due to lack of ability and only a half shell lid I dare not. Can happily cruise in the mid 20’s no problem.
Battery is 12s 10p 35e configuration. It’s a monster in terms of weight. My longest single ride so far has been 26 miles and 36 miles over a couple of sessions on a single charge. Have not done a full run but 45 would be realistic for my weight (70kg with gear). Haven’t run into battery sag yet! But to 35e cells do have limited amps. But I’m pretty chill rider so if your absolute balls to walls type then A custom 30Q or P42a battery will be for you.
It’s dream to ride on the flux. It’s boutique Board at the Top end of esk8 using some of the best parts on the market, and put together with experience. Having tried evolves and exways . It’s a totally different ball game on all fronts. So it’s not fair to compare in any category to those types. Would only be fair compare to high spec DIY boards or Lacroix.
TLDR: Like a magic carpet. Carving is great. Stable at speed. Fast. Loads of power. Loads of range. 8 inch pneumies. Big deck. Heavy. Great trucks. Lacroix for less.

No signature on delivery. Flux deck+enclosure, didn't require signature arrival for a delivery by USP??. It was left on my front door, open to public to steal. Lucky I din't order a complete board.

One of the only options for a deck to build a DYI LaCroix. The build quality of the deck and enclosure is exactly what they said it would be. Fluxmotion also go above and beyond to either swap out more expensive items for free so you're able to receive it sooner just to keep their customers happy. They also included additional switches and charge ports which weren't included on the original listing purely because they had pre-drilled holes in the enclosure. I've never experienced this when buying in the DIY esk8 scene, it's great to see and really appreciated!

After purchasing a few China made eboards over the past year I started considering either a Kaly or a Lacroix...then I found Fluxmotion. For about the same price of a used Lacroix I was able to get a brand new Flux from the 2nd early bird sale. There was a bit of a wait due to a bad batch of Flipsky remotes(not their fault) but after that was resolved it only took 3 days to get the board to Seattle - that in itself was amazing. And not only did Frederic answer all my questions with courtesy, he did it quickly. The customer service alone is a great reason to buy one. Now I no longer have to avoid steep hills or long trips.
