We recently moved into a rental property with flint and cook and were mainly dealing with James Garibbo at the Hereford branch.

From start to finish James was extremely helpful, quickly sorted out any problems we were having in the application process and just made the whole experience stress free.

Moving house is commonly known to be one of the most stressful things we all do and james in particular was a pleasure to deal with. So thank you!

The worst estate event we’ve dealt with. Whenever we called to view a house they fobbed us off every time and said they were so busy they barely had any availability to do showings. We were in a proceedable position. It’s almost like they don’t want to sell the houses?
Also told us we could only see our dream house if we were proceedable at that time. Found out later from vendors this was not the case but the delay meant that we missed out on it. They don’t answer the phone and there’s no answer machine. Also sometimes deny all knowledge of houses they have on the market when you ask to see them. Very confusing and frustrating to deal with.

Rubbish!!! Don’t know why people sell houses with these people. I have contacted them twice and they don’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge you or respond to your offer!!! Find someone else.

The company often fail to respond to email and initiate promises they will not keep. They have a second moniker 'Flint and Crook' which seems an apt reputation for a terrible establishment with a seriously questionable service. There are other companies worth considering when buying, renting or selling. Be VERY mindful when you consider this particular business.

Terrible! They require 6 months bank statements, and I quote ' to check ins and outs' Hello? that's an invasion of privacy, nosy sods, how about just getting a standard credit check and all other required refs? weird.
One other thing...Dan Ogleby works at this dodgy company and had left a positive review, says it all really, AVOID!!!!

I was looking for somewhere to rent and was given the rudest man to deal with. Daniel Ogleby, what a rude and snotty individual. He was very unhelpful and talked back on several occasions. Won’t ever use this firm again and I won’t recommend Flint & Cook to anyone.

Would not recommend this firm. Initially they produced good sales material. Our house sold within three days which could mean it was under valued. They told us our buyer was ready to proceed as her buyer had his mortgage and cash in place. They made no attempt to verify this or chase matters up. They told us it was not their job . As a result we missed the stamp duty holiday. Matters turned even worse and became more protracted to our financial loss. Exchange and completion took place within two days which caused more problems. Their fee was not justified

Rude, dishonest and unprofessional. Pretty much the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Avoid at all costs.
Another reviewer mentioned the owner, I too had the displeasure of dealing with him. He was actually the worst of all of them and one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to.

Totally unprofessional. Tried to purchase a property but the sale fell through for very personal and unexpected issues. Contact Flint and Cook five times to tell them. They ignored. Then my wife receives a threatening and bullying email from the owner no less. Totally uncalled for. I have since heard from a number of people with the same type of experience. Only after your money, definitely not customer focused. I would never use this company and would certainly not recommend them at all.
